The Shrimp fried rice was disappointing with tiny shrimp, plain brown rice and onions. It lacked flavor and had no egg or vegetable mixed in. This was my first order in 3 years. There maybe new staff, but it has really changed since the pandemic for the worst. read more

My husband had a craving for some chinese good so I did a google search and China Express came up with the most stars at the top of the page, so we tried it. Ordered chicken with cashews (found it very dry and burnt), sweet and sour chicken (was alright), the egg rolls weren't bad, I wish I could find a place that makes egg rolls with bean sprouts not cabbage, also spring rolls (were alright). I don't think we will go back again. I wish Danny's was still open, that had the best Chinese food!!! read more

Will never eat at this place ever again.....this place should have closed down during Covid and stayed closed.....I ordered Pork Yat and it had 2 small pieces in it, the noodles weren't even the noodles used for Yat....the noodles were over cooked to the point where it disintegrates the minute it hits your fork. Usually the service isn't bad but today...my experience was horrible. After securing my order and driving off...I noticed that my order was incomplete. I immediately called and was met by the most unprofessional and rude lady ever. I tried to tell her my issue and she just kept speaking over me, continuously stating "I didn't hear that you wanted wings". I knew that I spoke clearly and even asked her again once I retrieved my food. I went back and told them (not very nicely) that I longer wanted food from them and that she needs to be nicer and listen to the customer. Looks can be deceiving here. This place doesn't look like much but I am a fan. Everything I've had from here I've liked and it's not super greasy like other Chinese's places I've been in the area. Food was nasty. Online credit card did not work. They hunted me down for a payment I told her I was bringing. Kept trying to get the driver involved. We ordered our usuals, the pork egg foo young, Shrimp fried rice, General TSos Chicken, Shrimp Egg Rolls and Combination fried rice. Everything was amazing. This establishment is not cooking anything that remotely tastes like Chinese Food. I sorely disappointed when I got home to eat. The rice is a cheap grain of rice and extra short . I ordered combination fried rice and combination egg foo young. The egg foo young was floating in a thick gravy not oyster sauce and all combination meat is questionable. I have been eating at China Express for 3 years and they have not one time disappointed me. They know my normal that I get which is the Egg Foo Young! They give you large portions, not skimpy like some other Chinese Restaurants. I have had their Chicken Wings and Steak n Cheese Subs also, and they are really good too! Beware of this restaurant. I've been charged for food I did not receive on more than one occasion. When I brought it to the managers attention she claimed her English was not that good so she didn't hear me. The first time I ordered shrimp fried rice with no vegetables and they omitted the shrimp and vegetables. The second time I was told one price over the phone only to be charged another price when the driver arrived. When I called the restaurant, again she said her English isn't strong please forgive her. My encounter was beyond the pale of anything I have ever experienced in the arena of customer service. Here is what happened: After attempting to pay for my order of a Singapore Noodles tray, and noticing that this order was the third and highest price I have paid over a short period of time for this dish, I inquired about its seemingly perpetual increase in cost. China Express's server--a middle-aged man--answered my question tersely by saying, "...worrying too much about cost! I am the only one here...." If someone charged you less last time then there's a problem!" I decided to let the issue go and exit from the restaurant. Reaching for the door handle, I clearly heard the server say to me, "F*ck you!" I turned to confront the server, asking him "what did you say?" He said, "Nothing! Why are you always worried about people talking about you ... F*cking dumb..." My suggestion to all of you who might consider a visit to this mediocre-at-best, serve you with a "F*ck-you" joint, DON'T. If you do, and meet up with this China Express employee then expect a very surreal experience much like you would expect from an encounter with a street person possessed by crack and crystal meth. read more

The individual who answered the phone, placed me on a hold & did so a few times before finally coming back up online & rudely & hurriedly asked "what you want?" Very rudely & in a dismissive manner so at this point I decided I don't think this place deserves my business & said "never mind" and disconnected. I was more shocked than I was livid, initially as I would NOT have imagined a "business savvy" person would even think to call back a potential customer & curse him/her out just because they refused to place an order w/an imbecile. She had absolutely NO phone etiquette or interpersonal communication skills and to top it off, zero bedside manners. I would urge anyone who's considering placing an order or dining here to PLEASE take heed & go elsewhere.
