The food was fresh and tasty the people and Service was fast and they was very nice. The ambience was a normal Chinese carryout. It was very clean and thank God the air doesn't work very good because it's a very hot day. read more

Food was thrown together and Asian dude was extremely rude. A black girl taking orders was very nice so I'm assuming they're trying to make up for their lack of hospitality towards us. Some of these establishments believe we are privileged to have them but it's actually the other way around. It's basic food that's convenient not necessarily good. So don't treat us like Sh!t when you want our business. read more

Excellent service We recommend to our friends. They specialize if need be Allergen friemdly read more

The food was horrendous, opened my steak n cheese and the smell that came out was so sour.. like between vinegar and Body odor. no way they didn't smell that when they packaged it up much less cooked it. The chicken wings were hard, dry and tasted like seafood and old grease. Health dept needs to check out this place. read more

They are consistent. Prices are good. Fried chicken is ok, mambo sauce not the best. Chinese is great.

so it's a nice cool Friday evening and I figured I'd pick up some Chinese food to sit out on my patio and enjoy but to my surprise, there was no chicken to be had. The only thing that was in the meal was something fried up crispy something rather with some sauce thrown on it and some half cooked white rice. And the veggie rolls or just paper there are no veggies in the rolls. read more

A hidden gem... in plain sight! I haven't been disappointed yet with the food served at China Express. Of course, I can't speak for the whole menu, but, I can say that any time I have ordered for myself and guests, I haven't had one complaint. In fact, I think I have compliments across the board!? I doesn't give the "OMG," impression from a looks perspective... but, I am bigger on taste than looks... :D read more

This restaurant is my go to for Chinese takeout and subs. Their food is delicious, hot and fresh. But I had a problem with my order today... Today is my birthday and I ordered a Seafood Platter to celebrate.... It is the only item missing from my order, very disappointed.... read more

The general TSO's chicken was SALTY!! There was only a couple pieces of chicken in it.... The rest was like some kind of clumped together garbage. What made it worst was when I called to see what could be done to make it better, the lady on the phone said bring the food back and she will refund my card. I got delivery.... She then said she'd send the driver out to collect the food from me and then she'd give me the money back when he arrives back to the store with the food... NEVER AGAIN will I shop here!! The worst Chinese food I've ever had in my life! They don't care about how happy their customer is... read more

The Shrimp fried rice was disappointing with tiny shrimp, plain brown rice and onions. It lacked flavor and had no egg or vegetable mixed in. This was my first order in 3 years. There maybe new staff, but it has really changed since the pandemic for the worst. read more

the food is delicious & the folks really went above & beyond once to deliver dinner to me when i had mistakenly placed a pick-up order. it's my very favorite & go-to chinese restaurant in the area & i highly recommend it! read more

Disgusting. Rice taste like it was made in dirty water. I wish i didn't ask for a whole sub. Throwing it in the trash.

Good chicken cheese steaks and fries. Service is quick. Clean store. Will go back again

My husband had a craving for some chinese good so I did a google search and China Express came up with the most stars at the top of the page, so we tried it. Ordered chicken with cashews (found it very dry and burnt), sweet and sour chicken (was alright), the egg rolls weren't bad, I wish I could find a place that makes egg rolls with bean sprouts not cabbage, also spring rolls (were alright). I don't think we will go back again. I wish Danny's was still open, that had the best Chinese food!!! read more

Will never eat at this place ever again.....this place should have closed down during Covid and stayed closed.....I ordered Pork Yat and it had 2 small pieces in it, the noodles weren't even the noodles used for Yat....the noodles were over cooked to the point where it disintegrates the minute it hits your fork. This should be a whole crime!!!!! read more

These guys really make a great carryout. Its less than a cafeteria for sit-down. Good price too and fast. read more

Usually the service isn't bad but today...my experience was horrible. After securing my order and driving off...I noticed that my order was incomplete. I immediately called and was met by the most unprofessional and rude lady ever. I tried to tell her my issue and she just kept speaking over me, continuously stating "I didn't hear that you wanted wings". I knew that I spoke clearly and even asked her again once I retrieved my food. I went back and told them (not very nicely) that I longer wanted food from them and that she needs to be nicer and listen to the customer. I know we all make mistakes, but I can tell she is too comfortable in this neighborhood. Now I wish them nothing but failure. read more

This place is disgusting. I went there during lunch and they were preparing there chicken on a trash can. If you need more information after that, enjoy your trash chicken. read more

really good chinese food. chicken wings and veggie fried rice.

Delivery was quick and the food was as great. They followed my requests as well. I will definitely order from this restaurant again. Might even hit them up today if I don't feel like cooking later. read more

They are Ok. I like that they always have a coupon available for a free item over a price point. Not the best. But right in the middle.

The food I ordered was horrible. The general tso chicken isn't white meat and it was all clumped together. It looked and tasted like mush so I threw it away. read more

Mmmmmm. Nice and Fresh. Delivery was QUICK. The flavor was amazing. Not too spicy like I asked. Just enough of each meat (shrimp, steak, and beef). read more

Placed another order again today since they were so good last time. I ordered a shrimp basket again and this time it was not so good. The shrimp were very dried out and tasted funny. They were either old, freeze dried, or just no good. Last time they were great, not sure what happened this time, different brand? Fries were good and wife got a sweet and sour chicken, she liked hers, no problem. read more

I usually order from the Thai side of the menu and the food is tasty and most importantly not greasy

Honestly, food was cold. The rice tasted weird. Very disappointed. I was hungry for Chinese food, but I had to throw most of it away. I will never again order from this place. read more

Ordered food from here today for lunch 6 hours later im puking it all up. I clearly have food poisoning. Ill keep yall posted hopefully i feel better by tomorrow. Dont come here fuck these dudes who dont give a crap about their customers! read more

Looks can be deceiving here. This place doesn't look like much but I am a fan. Everything I've had from here I've liked and it's not super greasy like other Chinese's places I've been in the area. Cleanliness is what would would expect from a Chinese takeout. I would recommend ordering ahead and getting your food to go. read more

Food was nasty. Online credit card did not work. They hunted me down for a payment I told her I was bringing. Kept trying to get the driver involved. She treated me like a black woman that stole some trashy ass dried up wings n fried rice! When she saw me because I brought her the cash she acted lime nothing happened. I told her the tip was revoked because of her rude demeanor and yelp was going to know about this. Don't eat here they are pathetic and their food is some garbage! I would give them a negative infinity if I could. As I said they trash! Don't go to these racist assholes. When they see you they pretend like they were not rude on the phone. read more

We did carry out and the food was seriously the best Chinese carry out I have had in a while. The food was really hot and the people were very friendly. We will definitely be ordering there again! read more

This establishment is not cooking anything that remotely tastes like Chinese Food. I sorely disappointed when I got home to eat. The rice is a cheap grain of rice and extra short . I ordered combination fried rice and combination egg foo young. The egg foo young was floating in a thick gravy not oyster sauce and all combination meat is questionable. This was too horrible to waste gas to return it. I absolutely will not return. read more

I have been eating at China Express for 3 years and they have not one time disappointed me. They know my normal that I get which is the Egg Foo Young! They give you large portions, not skimpy like some other Chinese Restaurants. I have had their Chicken Wings and Steak n Cheese Subs also, and they are really good too! My Wife loves their Beef Lo Mein. I recommend anyone looking for Great Chinese Food, China Express in Waldorf Md is the way to go! Oh, and during Covid-19 their delivery time is on point! read more

Giving credit where credit is due, I felt it necessary to leave this review! My Dad had a taste for Chinese food and asked me to order delivery. We ordered our usuals, the pork egg foo young, Shrimp fried rice, General TSos Chicken, Shrimp Egg Rolls and Combination fried rice. Everything was amazing. Consistency is what we have found at this restaurant. We will be loyal customers so long as the quality, quantity, and fair pricing of their food remains the same. Keep up the great work. read more

China Express of Waldorf, MD: Service with a "F*ck You!" Here's a good one! I had a disturbing encounter the other day with one of China Express's employees! My encounter was beyond the pale of anything I have ever experienced in the arena of customer service. Here is what happened: After attempting to pay for my order of a Singapore Noodles tray, and noticing that this order was the third and highest price I have paid over a short period of time for this dish, I inquired about its seemingly perpetual increase in cost. China Express's server--a middle-aged man--answered my question tersely by saying, "...worrying too much about cost! I am the only one here...." If someone charged you less last time then there's a problem!" I decided to let the issue go and exit from the restaurant. Reaching for the door handle, I clearly heard the server say to me, "F*ck you!" I turned to confront the server, asking him "what did you say?" He said, "Nothing! Why are you always worried about people talking about you ... F*cking dumb..." My suggestion to all of you who might consider a visit to this mediocre-at-best, serve you with a "F*ck-you" joint, DON'T. If you do, and meet up with this China Express employee then expect a very surreal experience much like you would expect from an encounter with a street person possessed by crack and crystal meth. read more

We had 5 different dishes and they were just ok. Below average Chinese food, but not bad. The gravy for the Shrimp Egg Foo Young was a bit too salty and the Crispy Spring Rolls were "Over-Crispy" they were burnt!!! Everything else was OK. Delivery was very fast. read more

Beware of this restaurant. I've been charged for food I did not receive on more than one occasion. When I brought it to the managers attention she claimed her English was not that good so she didn't hear me. The first time I ordered shrimp fried rice with no vegetables and they omitted the shrimp and vegetables. The second time I was told one price over the phone only to be charged another price when the driver arrived. When I called the restaurant, again she said her English isn't strong please forgive her. There Won't be a next time for me but be careful because I think this may be the new way to get a couple of extra dollars from the customers. Coincidence. I think not. read more

The food here is terrible. Typical Chinese takeout. Sell terrible food and just take money. The clearly don't take pride in what they sell. I ordered Singapore noodles and I noticed at first glance dry old shrimp. read more

New to the area and received the little flyer in the mail along w/other business deal flyers in the surrounding area & thought to give this joint a try. The individual who answered the phone, placed me on a hold & did so a few times before finally coming back up online & rudely & hurriedly asked "what you want?" As I was about to start with my order she again cut me off & ask "what you want?" Very rudely & in a dismissive manner so at this point I decided I don't think this place deserves my business & said "never mind" and disconnected. Well.. a nano sec later she calls back from a different # & said a bunch of expletives "F U b..." I was more shocked than I was livid, initially as I would NOT have imagined a "business savvy" person would even think to call back a potential customer & curse him/her out just because they refused to place an order w/an imbecile. She had absolutely NO phone etiquette or interpersonal communication skills and to top it off, zero bedside manners. I would urge anyone who's considering placing an order or dining here to PLEASE take heed & go elsewhere. This is a tacky hole-in-wall sub-par Chinese joint & definitely do NOT deserve decent customers. Don't waste your money. Spend it elsewhere!! Would NOT recommend this place not even to an animal. Very RUDE!! read more

Eat here as the first Carryout in brandywine, I'm sorry but food was horrible. I literally go back across town just if I want Carryout. The sad thing it was numerous people in there and I asked was the food ALL said yes. Maybe if that's all you know. Prices was good and had offer alot of choices to keep being HONEST but from the wings , rice the beef was not popping at all. I'm a foodie so I always give a place a chance but the family threw it all away and was mad looked at each other like foreal!. Never again! So if they want Carryout I literally buy from across town. Since I am a foodie I try all spots if I bring you something from the other side same meal blind food you be like WHAT THE HELL. Yeah flavor spices no old grease. The funny thing is that Carryout I go to use to ask everyone in the neighborhood back in the day what's wrong with there food she made changes and Lord did they impress so. I hope owners take criticism and utilize it because I still run into faithful customers who DON'T LIVE NOWHERE NEAR THEM and say I STILL HAVE TO COME BACK! read more
