See my review re: Jerry's for a complete description of the menu. Same thing, only outside of the District. Where else are you going to go for a basket of steaming hot fried shrimp or fried chicken. Eddies is more of a late night indulgence more than anything, and from old town, you can get there in 10-15 minutes. While you're there, stop across the street and wash your car at the closest do-it-yourself car wash to northern VA. I've searched and searched, and that's the closest to DC.

The wings are everything! Food is fresh and quick. Egg rolls are also great! They have to be eaten fresh though

Saturday, 10/17/26: Party of 6 celebrating my cousin's 57th birthday…read more Shout out to Rasheed for EXCELLENT service. GREAT seats but honestly, every location is a great location. Prefer window seating because of the lights and the two center booths (one semi-enclosed and the other considered shareable but, remarkably, still private). Super crowded every, single time we come here, which is only about twice a year, so I HIGHLY suggest having a reservation. TWO thumbs on the drinks (Espresso Martinis, Lemon Drops, Vodka/Cranberry); small plates (calamari, Shanghai and Salt/Pepper wings) and entrees (lamb chops, flounder, National Harbor fried rice, Soba noodles, and pepper steak). Never have we ever had a complaint about the food here. They even presented my cousin with a non-edible birthday gift, which I totally admire ... NO room left for another sip, let alone a whole dessert. IF I had a complaint ... it would be the crowd/number of diners packed in ... makes convo a little challenging at your table buttt, honestly, not a deal breaker. DELICIOUS, HOT, SAVORY, NOTEWORTHY ... GOOOOO (& tell them you saw it on Yelp)!

For starters, the food presentation can be rather sloppy, which takes away from the dining experience. The atmosphere is also a bit of a mixed bag. In the evening, the darker setting feels more fitting, but during the daytime, the restaurant comes across as dark and dreary. The tables are also entirely too small, which becomes especially inconvenient once the food starts arriving. On a positive note, the service has been good, and the food itself is solid. It's certainly not the best Chinese cuisine I've had, but it's decent. I just wish the presentation and overall dining experience matched the quality of the food a little better.

We came here for an early lunch, and we ordered: +Crab Rangoon - triangular-shaped, generously filled with the cream cheese/crab mixture; could have been a bit more crispy, as it was slightly chewy; the sweet & sour dipping sauce was a great complement +Chow Fun - we opted for the beef as a protein; the noodles were extremely wide, which was great; you can kick it up with chili oil and soy sauce; beef were plentiful +Mongolian Beef - lots of onions and scallions, this had a good flavor; you can add more of a saltiness to it with soy sauce This is definitely a family-run and -operated eatery, as the youngest son was taking orders and manning the register; all orders were made-to-order, so what you will be receiving will be super fresh! The owners were very kind, friendly, and attentive! There were a couple of tables inside, so we chose to dine in. Everything tasted fresh, not at all salty, and prepared with care and love. I'd love to try out their lunch specials and other chef specialty entrees on the next visit. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING! DO NOT EAT HERE…read more I'm new to the neighborhood and wanted to give a local spot a try, but unfortunately, my first experience will also be my last. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted, which wasn't a huge deal. The woman who took my order was fine. My real concern started when I began watching the food being prepared behind the counter. None of the gentlemen I observed handling the food were wearing gloves. I watched one employee wipe his forehead/sweat and continue working. I also saw another employee using his bare hands while picking shrimp out of a container of shrimp fried rice. What really did it for me was watching food spill onto the sides and edges of the takeout containers and then seeing the employee wipe the containers clean with his bare hands before closing them. After witnessing all of this, I was extremely uncomfortable eating anything prepared there. Unfortunately, the food itself didn't make the experience any better. I ordered shrimp fried rice, and I do not eat pork in my fried rice, yet there was pork in my order. On top of that, my shrimp fried rice had only FOUR shrimp. I literally poured the rice out of the container because I wanted to make sure I wasn't imagining it. Four shrimp in an entire order of shrimp fried rice is disappointing. Between the food-handling practices I personally witnessed, receiving pork in my order, and getting only four shrimp, I cannot see myself returning. As someone new to the neighborhood, I was hoping I had found a convenient local spot to support, but this experience completely turned me away

At the table, we shared the crispy spring rolls, fried dumplings and chicken wings as apps. We all enjoyed these, especially the chicken wings. Everyone enjoyed their drinks too - the lychee li, the mango margarita, the botanical, the sticky mango, the old fashioned, the baccarat. We all enjoyed them. For the food we had the thai basil beef fried rice, general tso shrimp, panang curry, singapore noodles, house style wok tossed soft noodles, seafood xo, and the wonton soup. Most of us tried each other's food because of the healthy servings and most of us enjoyed what we ate. Our waitress Minzhi was awesome - friendly, knowledgeable and funny. The restaurant manager Q was nice and attentive as well. They even gave one of our party members a mango sticky rice dessert (which was just okay - would've been much better if the mango was riper and sweeter) and sang happy birthday to her. Overall, we had a lovely time. Ginger is pricey so be mindful of that before you go but if you're celebrating a special occasion/milestone, it will be a nice change of pace.

On both visits, the plates and utensils looked questionable, which is honestly a bit off-putting when you're about to enjoy a meal. While I genuinely like the food, I do wish they would pay more attention to these details because cleanliness is just as important, if not more important as the food itself.

Im talking about egg rolls with that 1993 flavor profile (you are old if you sang along) I'm full. lol. I saw the reviews and felt tempted to try it. So glad I did. The egg roll had flavor - no grease! Balanced amount of veggies and meat inside. Arrived (ordered delivery) crispy and hot. This is rare these days. At most spots they are flavorless and greasy with a bunch of cabbage so its worthy of note - NOT HERE. We got the Dragon & Phoenix (general tso chicken and chili garlic shrimp) - yummy! Deveined medium size shrimp and an abundance of chicken. Only criticism is there wasn't a bit of spice. Im a girl who can appreciate a tickle (from spice) The mister got the beef in black bean sauce combo (w. fried rice and egg roll). Yes, I fought him for the egg roll. The beef was flavorful! You got the savory earthy notes from black bean sauce (that you normally only get in restaurants) at the carry out. Im getting that one next time. Plenty of fried rice (tho it only comes with egg and onion - no peas and carrots) to share. May be my new carry out spot. Check it out. Back to my kitchen concert.

Boy was I wrong, it was way better than most! I made a to go order of tropical fried rice and pad Thai. They were both delicious. The pad that had chicken as protein and was the better of the two, but the tropical fried rice (with chicken, shrimp and pineapples) was a very close second. My only slight disappointment was the shrimp still had the tails on. Therefore, I had to abandon my fork and get my fingers dirty digging into my food to separate tail from shrimp. This little restaurant in strip mall was a surprise. Dropped in for lunch. Three other patrons were there. So service was quick. My server, Gong said it comes with any protein that you might want from the menu. Next time I'll have it with rice and some other stuff. My appetizer of spring rolls were hot and crispy. Pieces of chicken and shrimp. Get them! I ordered my favorite Thai Basil Fried Rice. Huge shrimp and just enough heat to warm your tongue just a little. Also grabbed the pork Pad Prik Kra Prao from the lunch menu. Stir fried in a spicy brown sauce with green peppers and basil. Man, I did as much damage as I could. Gong asked if I was able to drive. I had read the reviews before I dropped in. All I can say is come see for yourself.
