We tried the intestine & duck blood stew, cucumber salad, cumin lamb, soup dumplings, and had rice on the side. I loved all of them. They serve authentic Szechuan style Chinese cuisine. I've never been to China but our Chinese neighbor vouched for it. If you love Szechuan cuisine, def try this spot. The staff working was super attentive and nice and portions were huge. Parking could be challenging but we went early dinner so we were able to find a spot at the parking lot. They were pretty busy with take out orders because they also have regular Chinese-American dishes so you can order that menu if that's your preference. It would be awesome too if they expanded their dim sum menu, I'd come every weekend ha. I will definitely come back again and will also try take out. Hidden gem in the Del Ray area!

Little did I know that I would pass by it on my bike route and stopped in spontaneously for dinner. We were nervous about leaving our bike unsecured against the wall and debated going elsewhere. Luckily, there was a booth available next to the window to keep a watch out. Worth it!!! So glad we made it work. In fact, even if our bikes did get stolen, I would say the meal would have still been worth it. Very attractive menu and was impressed with how many gluten free options there were. There was steady flow of diners coming and going for takeout as well as dine in. The service was exceptional and personable. The one thing that I appreciate about Chinese food is the preparation involved in its cuisine. Many of these Chinese seem too time consuming or complicated to recreate at home. I always enjoy trying new dishes given the variety of regions. While the last two dishes we ordered had two to three chili pepper indicators, they weren't spicy to me. My cycling companion, on the other hand, got to experience the mouth numbing flavors of Schezuan food for the first time and said his mouth was on fire. Meanwhile, I loved the texture and flavors of the duck blood dish. The dish's name probably doesn't sound the most appetizing to the general public but I wanted to try something unique and was impressed. I had no idea Chinese cuisine had duck blood in their dish! I LOVE their steak and cheese egg roll but damnnnn $5 is a lot. I still like their hot and sour soup. The general tso's is my partner's go-to, but it's a solid 3, at best. Occasionally, we will order it and it will be like a 4.5 because they've got somebody in the kitchen who really cares, but for the most part it's just fine. I get the shrimp with lobster sauce a lot because it's one of my favorites and I like the way the flavor mixes with the rice. Their fried rice, as a whole, is not that good. They have a few tables set up inside, I rarely see people eating there, but it's a nice place to wait. I've never had to wait more than 15 minutes for my order to be ready, which I greatly appreciate. There is parking right in front and on the side. Evenings and weekends, the front parking can be a little crazy because of the neighboring businesses, but it's still not a huge issue. Honestly, what I appreciate most about this location is the service and the drink offerings. This is definitely the best service I've had at a carryout in this area.
