Hands down this has to be one of the best Chinese spots I've tried in the DMV. The food was fresh and everything was hot. Portion size was great and the food was flavorful. I would probably tell them to limit the amount of onions the next tome I visits. The establishment only takes 2 forms of payment Cash or CashApp so be prepared. Their sesame chicken is also good, not captured in photos.

Food is awesome. I come here 3 days a week. Best Hunan dishes, bar none. We are lucky to have them!

The food is pretty good, wings are crisp. It's what can be expected from a carryout. I suggest getting the wings fried hard to ensure they're nice and crisp. I don't care for mumbo sauce, theirs is mildly sweet.. maybe too diluted with whatever mumbo sauce is made from. Doesn't taste like ketchup or bbq sauce .. just a very mild sweet sauce, no spice. Service is smooth, the place is clean. Price reasonable, 6 wings and fries $12

Fried chicken extra maumbo, shrimp fried rice extra maumbo and steak n cheese that need more meat

My # UNO China Man!! Best Rib Tips and Yat in town. I just don't like the fact that they don't deliver and they're cash only.

Of generations literally!!.. my grandma would come here and the seafood spot they used to have next door! for fresh shrimp crabs fish. When she got grandkids all the oldest ones would pile up in her huge truck and head to the seafood spot for crabs and all six of us would go to the carryout for egg rolls then zoom down to the rolling pin bakery for sweets!! ..My uncles and their friends would come here just for Wings and fries and grab beers from the liquor store. The wings are always a Hit never a Miss no matter who cooks them!! they don't taste like any other honey bbq wings they don't look like KFC honey bbq color either!! But the taste is amazing and you don't have to ask for extra sauce like other places!!.. they sauce these wings Down!!! its 6/8/10 wingettes.. my uncle and I when we have lunch here we get ten!! And it's not the small shrinking wingettes these are jumbo!! but not steroids jumbo they're just right!!.. customer service is cool!! Ambiance isn't one fr and that's to be expected with where they are! But you can never go wrong with anything you get here'. It's a Hood classic fr no matter if you're coming from the car wash, the public playhouse plays across the way! Save a lot you gotta stop here!! They could really use some modernization and/or renovation. I should have known something was wrong after I got there during peak lunch hours and no one was there. It was completely empty. Needless to say, I did not have the best experience here. Service here was lacking. My server never checked on me, never refilled my water and I had to track her down to get a box and my check. She spent most of the time yelling at people on the phone. They have a huge menu with a wide assortment of classic Chinese food. I ordered the sesame chicken, which came with rice. y food was ready in about 5 minutes. I will get right to the point. It was avergae to below average. I could not even eat it in one sitting and had to take half of it to go. I really did not like the flavor and the chicken just tasted weird to me. There are few places that I will not return for another meal. This is one of them. The service was subpar and the food was bad.

THEY CHANGED OWNERS AND DID NOT ADVERTISE IT. I AM SO SO DISAPPOINTED…read more When this place first opened, it quickly became my #1 spot because it was really the only pho place in the area but it USED TO be so good! The family with the girl and boy that ran the front is not there anymore. So if you used to come here like me, I'm doing you all a favor and letting you guys know this place is TERRIBLE now that they switched owners. Not only that but much more expensive for a poor quality imitation of what this place used to be under the OLD owners. Small bowl is more than $18 now!!! Insane. I got a small bowl asked for half noodles they didn't do that and only had fatty brisket in it even though I got #11 which included also tendon and flank. YALL THIS PHO WAS COLD. The temperature was as if someone left hot tea out for 30-40 minutes. No more piping hot clear good broth, this broth from the new owners is MURKY AND BROWN and cold/lukewarm. I didn't say anything but just know I will NEVER come back its simply not worth it. Pickled onions was drowning in a weirdly sweet vinaigrette. Go elsewhere for better pho. I feel like these new people know they are not as good as the old people so they didn't tell anyone about the owner switch and are basically tricking people into coming and paying more money for worse pho riding on the coattails of a different owners reputation and I feel weirdly upset about that, like I've been tricked. If you guys used to come here all the time with the old owners then you will understand how upsetting this is. This place survived through the pandemic in the middle of PG that's how good they were. Pillar of the community just gone now. Also they won an award for being one of the best woman owned businesses but it's not woman owned anymore and the new owners haven't changed anything and they still have that sticker up even though it's not a woman owned business anymore. Like I said they are just riding the coattails of the previous owners.

It was our last day visiting fam in MD and we wanted to get some grub before the trip back to NY. There's a regular VN spot we frequent whenever we visit and it seemed to be closed so we didn't want to risk a drive out. We found Pho Tai 63 and called ahead to make sure they were open. Once that was done, we took the 20 minute drive to the restaurant and placed our order. The parking lot is SCANT. There are minimal spots. In this particular day (Black Friday), the place was packed, save for one spot and we got it. Upon entry, their dining room was full to capacity. We ordered some pho (that's all they have and I'm not mad - was a l'il disappointed at the time but we'll get to that). It too some time to get our food, much longer than expected, but I was not mad because there's definitely a reason for that. We brought every back home. Each pho dish was enough to feed two people my dad and brother ended up showing up at my sister's house the same time we got back. We had enough to feed everyone. The food is FRESH! the broths are clear and full of depth. You can make out the star anise and other herbs and spices. I split the shrimp pho with my brother since he doesn't eat meat. I got my sister the brisket pho. My son ordered the special pho and split that with my dad. Hubby also got a brisket pho and I got my daughter the chicken pho. The broths differ but each taste amazing. All of the pho came with the usual suspects: Thai basil, bean sprouts, hoisin sauce, lime and hot sauce. The accompaniments were plentiful so having extra mouths to feed worked out in our favor. My next trip south, I might have to do a taste test with both locations and see which I prefer. I wish they offered bahn mi sandos but honestly, with the caliber of pho they're dishing out, they are reigning supreme at the moment. Sometimes, it pays to focus on one thing and be REALLY good at it.
