WARNING! You could get a bacteria that might lead to death. I went to this restaurant and they served me spoiled rice that, according to them, had been sitting for several days. When I complained, they admitted the rice wasn't fresh and that their freezers were broken, yet they were still serving it to customers. This is complete negligence. Eating food in that condition can cause serious food poisoning. They clearly don't care about anyone's health. Do not eat here. It's a real risk. This place needs to be inspected immediately before someone ends up in the hospital -- or worse. read more

Ok now this is the greatest Chinese restaurant in the DMV area. I have lived in the DMV pretty much my entire life & have eaten at dozens of Chinese restaurants and I still say that Jacky Chans is the best. Been coming to this spot almost 20 years now & it is STILL top notch. The French Fries alone will tell you about the quality of food here. Make sure you get the chicken wings with french fries and add salt pepper & mumbo sauce on everything. This is the classic that everyone should start out with. I have been wanting to come here ever since I saw it on the map. I will spare you the Rush Hour jokes but I will say that I wasn't expecting too much out of Jacky Chan. I just wanted to eat at a place called Jacky Chan so that I could die in peace. I've read reviews online that said that they refry their wings and when I ordered mine, they didn't. I was in a rush and they were frying my wings. That time gave me the opportunity to see Jacky Chan's patrons. An old white, appearing to be a regular picked up his order. I've never seen that at another carry-out. Another women paid for her call in and paid for her order and gave the cashier an extra dollar for the last time when she was short. Something else I'd never seen in a carry-out. I found the wings to be aight. The m(u/a)mbo sauce was the bright jelly type, which I'm not opposed to. I hate the ketchup one. I just wasn't wowed by Jacky Chan but I did feel a since of community in a carry-out, with bulletproof glass of all places. I appreciated that Next time I'll probably just order something other than wings. read more

Not bad at all. Had the general Yao's chicken and fried rice. Plenty of food for less than seven bucks with a canned drink of your choice. Only thing they accept is cash. Hit up the ATM or have cash on hand before you go in there. read more

It's a great quick spot to hit for some carry out. Same staff all the time. They are quick and attentive. Food is always good and consistent. I typically get orange chicken and fried rice. It's your basic carryout, but it is SOOO good! The mambo sauce here is great and the rest of the food is fabulous.

do not eat here ordered chicken and broccoli meat was basically raw, smelled rotten and as soon as plate was set down flies swarmed the food. Uncooked, rotting meat, when brought to restuarants attention refused to refund money. Horrible experience staff unfriendly and rude about complaint. Food was not edible. read more
