This was my first time trying the dirty yak and it did not disappoint! super flavorful, not too oily, and just really well done. I got mine without onions and it was still perfect. Overall, everything was fresh, tasty, and hit the spot. Definitely ordering again!

So I found out this spot out here got some Yak, and usually I just go on back to Baltimore when I want some; So I stopped at this Chinese joint and it was okay it kind of was hit a miss. It's like if I want to get some and really craving it, then I'll get some; but I'll probably rather just go to Bal-da-moor and copp' some. Don't get me wrong it's a nice little Chinese spot though... I mean I probably get something else there regular Chinese food but far as the yak... I just go home to get it. Don't get me wrong it had a nice flava, but it seem like it was missing sumpt'n. My ZIP Code was finally added to the delivery area and I am so glad that I finally got to order…read morefrom this spot because I have wanted to try their food for the longest time. There are certain ZIP Codes that they are able to deliver to all the time but they've been rotating the other ZIP Codes in the area so that they can expand their clientele and it was finally my turn. Lol. This place is a delivery based business so I can't comment on the ambience of the location as the only way to get to food is to order delivery via their Square site which is pretty straightforward. The delivery driver was very nice and she called prior to arrival to give me a heads up as I ordered early in the day and my delivery estimate was between 645 and 715. She arrived right on time. Now to the food. I ordered six wings with a side of fries, the general Moe's chicken combo with some fried rice, and to Palmer Parks, which is their play on an Arnold Palmer. The chicken wings were well seasoned and extra crispy. They come with their own version of Mumbo Sauce, which is spicy and has a pineapple base which is pretty good. It comes with crispy crinkle fries, which were good. I ordered the spicy general Moe's chicken which had a nice kick to it, was very flavorful, and moist. The shrimp fried rice was good and reminded me of your standard carry out shrimp rice. The combo came with an eggroll that I did not get to try as I wasn't sure if there was pork in it or not and I don't eat pork so I gave it to my brother. The Palmer park was a good half and half and I think my only complaint about it is that I could taste that they had used the bottled lemon juice with an extra sweet tea instead of lemonade, so it had that bottled lemon juice taste , but it was otherwise solid. All in all, when my ZIP Code comes around in the delivery pool again, I'll definitely be ordering food from them again and look forward to seeing the other selections, but they come up with as their menu expands.

I WILL NOT BE RETURNING! DO NOT EAT HERE…read more I'm new to the neighborhood and wanted to give a local spot a try, but unfortunately, my first experience will also be my last. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted, which wasn't a huge deal. The woman who took my order was fine. My real concern started when I began watching the food being prepared behind the counter. None of the gentlemen I observed handling the food were wearing gloves. I watched one employee wipe his forehead/sweat and continue working. I also saw another employee using his bare hands while picking shrimp out of a container of shrimp fried rice. What really did it for me was watching food spill onto the sides and edges of the takeout containers and then seeing the employee wipe the containers clean with his bare hands before closing them. After witnessing all of this, I was extremely uncomfortable eating anything prepared there. Unfortunately, the food itself didn't make the experience any better. I ordered shrimp fried rice, and I do not eat pork in my fried rice, yet there was pork in my order. On top of that, my shrimp fried rice had only FOUR shrimp. I literally poured the rice out of the container because I wanted to make sure I wasn't imagining it. Four shrimp in an entire order of shrimp fried rice is disappointing. Between the food-handling practices I personally witnessed, receiving pork in my order, and getting only four shrimp, I cannot see myself returning. As someone new to the neighborhood, I was hoping I had found a convenient local spot to support, but this experience completely turned me away

So @LATryGuy brought me here after seeing his review on YouTube about Eddie Leonard's Carry Out. I…read moregot the 3-piece chicken wings with fries smothered in mumbo sauce... let me just say, the food was straight gas. The chicken was fresh and crispy--not salty, just right. The fries were golden, crispy, and hot out the fryer. The mumbo sauce complemented the chicken perfectly, but honestly, it didn't even need it. I'm not native to DC but live in the DMV, and I've had my fair share of carryouts with mumbo sauce--but this spot was fire. There's no ambience because it's a carry-out joint, so don't come expecting a dine-in experience. You're pulling up strictly for the food, and trust me, it delivers. Rating: 9/10 Would absolutely recommend and will be back. Appreciate the put-on @LATryGuy!
