Service was nice/cool. It took me less than a minute to place my order, and 5 to 10 mins to get my food. I ordered 3 wings & French fries. I like how they added salt & pepper to the fries even though I forgot to ask for salt, pepper & ketchup on the fries. They gave me mumbo sauce and ketchup, but no fork or napkins. I only rated it a 3 because the chicken was okay. It was fresh but didn't seem to have any flavor to it. Overall I give this review a 7/10 read more

I went to this location on 8/24/2022 for the first time. I ordered a large shrimp fried rice. I had paid for my order, and the gentleman was bagging it. Out of the corner of my eye I see something move on the counter. Two roaches. I say something to the man behind the counter, and he comes around to the front of the counter looks, looks at me and takes his hand and swats at them. He then go back on the other side to finish bagging my order. I was like Sir, I no longer want my order, I want my money back. He refused, even though he had not handed me the bag yet. The general Tso's chicken is HORRIBLE. They don't have a good hunan style at all. Even the soup is weak. And the General Tso's was Worse than a food court in a bad mall!! They are not good for Chinese food! They also do not have half and half drinks which is kinda standard in the DMV. But, the fried Wings and Mambo sauce are Ok!! Maybe the best wings and mambo in Waldorf. The steak and cheese is also solid. So they are better at American food than Chinese. The beef and broccoli was ok!! Only thing they have that's Chinese that is close to ok. Rest is horrible. Just stick to the good fried chicken and OK mambo sauce. Still not on the DC/PG level though.. read more

This was the first and last time that I don't check Yelp before eating at a place. We got wonton soup, mozzarella sticks, and shrimp lo mein with an egg roll. The mozzarella sticks taste like fish and it was way over seasoned. The wonton soup tasted like water. The egg roll was gross and the lo mein was such a small quantity compared to other Chinese restaurants. The employees weren't rude to me but to the next customer they were unnecessarily rude. Waste of money and now I'm going to bed half hungry and half sick to my stomach. Don't go here just because it's open late like we did. We gave the rest of the food to our dog. Best delivery, chinese american food in the area. Service is always great and normally arrives faster than expected. Some previous reviews complain about tips but tipping is to be expected for the convenience of not having to go out yourself, so it's unfair and rude to dock stars just because you're cheap. DO NOT PLACE CREDIT CARD ORDERS OVER THE PHONE! I have eaten at Jerry Yum's quite a few times. But, there was one thing I never noticed! I walked into the place to order some soup. During my wait, the cashier was taking phone calls for orders. I witnessed him write out the FULL credit card number, the exp. date, and the three-digit code on the back of the card on the tri-colored receipt. He gave the white copies to the kitchen and the yellow copies he stuck on a receipt holder. I told him, I know you are in a hurry to place orders, but I could easily take the copy of those receipts and walk out the door with credit card information. He moved the holder closer to him. When I came back inside he had placed the holder right back where it was. Please be cautious of giving your credit card information to Jerry Yums. read more

The food is NASTY. I got physically sick after eating their fried rice, sesame chicken, and lo mein.

The food is ok the fries are always soggy but the service is horrible , he delivered my food and I gave him a $2 tip and I already bought $20 worth of food and look at his tip and he suckes teeth and walked away. Im new to the area and wanted to try it out. Back in Alexandria I used to hit a spot called Jerry Chen so I figured id give it a try. Ordered 5 wings and fried rice. They did a good job on the wings. Was cooked to order, was crispy on the outside and meaty inside with good seasoning. The fried rice was average wss definitely cooked through, but Idon't expect quality fried rice from a carry out. Super convenient and always hot! The only downside is when you order for delivery and the guy always ask for a tip, I used to be a delivery driver and I never asked anybody for a tip, like how rude?! Since it's less than 2 miles from my home, I've been eating / ordering their food for years. I think their subs / pizzas are the best; Chinese food is OK. I've had better! Never had problems with their staff Delivery is as expected, depending on the day of the week. (Fridays and Saturdays are the worst!) Their food is no worse than some of these other Chinese joints.
