first of all, this is not the best buffet I went to it could be better Chinese food and give it Chinese. It stinks in here. Sushi do not taste like sushi could be better. Yeah the desserts are not that good and not fresh fruit will never come to this ghetto place ever again.

I know the pandemic has affected the buffet industry hard, but this was a disappointment. I have came here before the pandemic and it was good. Now, it's different. The coconut shrimp barely had any sauce, making it mostly just fried shrimp. Selections were limited and not that good. Chicken would be overcooked and many selections were bland or just not worth eating. I do not understand why cups are disposable since it is cheaper to rewash. Maybe it is for less labor with the limited employees. The "tissues" were rough as paper towels, even more rougher.

Clean, looked fresh (except for the sushi). I mostly ate the hibachi. Was good but a little oily due to whatever cook was using. There are better, similar buffets, and plenty of worse ones. Nearly twenty bucks though for 1 dinner buffet and 1 fountain soda. The paper cups and plastic utensils are a bit off putting too.

Went to Flaming Grill for a night of dinner with my family and my daughter found a dead roach in her cup. Will never go back to this buffet again!!

I did get there early and park and use a ride share to get to Alexandria for dinner. Parking was free because I signed up for the membership that is free, and in my profile settings I listed my make and model with license plate. The emails sent before the event were packed with useful information to help you navigate your evening, and the time leading up to the event. The property is very clean, and well organized. All the staff I encountered were very helpful, polite and hard working. The casino area was busy here and there but not over whelming.

We checked in and were greeted by pleasant front desk staff. They offer valet services as well. Our room was a standard king with iron and ironing board, toiletries, coffee maker. They had a snack area but DO NOT touch the items as it may incur a charge. Same for the mini fridge, move any item in there and you will be charged AND you can't store any of your items in it or you will charged. We asked for a mini fridge to be delivered to our room (additional charge, but we were staying for the festival and it was proved complimentary). The hotel had a food court with vendors selling breakfast, sushi, pizza, seafood, and burgers. They have a variety store selling snacks, drinks, merch, and sundries and they also have a few high end stores. They also have a Shake Shack, steakhouse, an Italian restaurant, bakery, a Mexican restaurant, and The Taphouse restaurant on the casino floor that sells some GOOD wings and other American fare. The casino floor is large and had an assortment of games. They have a couple of bar lounges as well featuring live music. The venue has event space, where our concerts were held, and also a larger concert area featuring major acts. They also offer a free shuttle for hotel guests that take you to the Tanger Outlet ( a short drive or 15 min walk away) or to National Harbor to visit other shops and eateries. All in all, MGM National Harbor is a great location for a staycation in the area.

Captain White Seafood Review - 10/10…read more If fresh seafood is what you're looking for, Captain White is one of my favorite places to shop. I've been there several times, and the quality has always been consistent. It's always busy, which tells me people know they're getting fresh seafood. Even when the parking lot is packed, there's plenty of free parking, so I've never had trouble finding a space. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a seafood market. You'll smell fresh fish when you walk in, but it's not an unpleasant odor--it's simply the smell of fresh seafood. One of the things I appreciate most is the staff. They've always been friendly, patient, and helpful whenever I've needed assistance or had questions. Over the years, I've purchased crabs , oysters , black bass, whiting, trout, spot, crawfish , and shrimp . Every purchase has been fresh and delicious. Their tartar sauce is also worth picking up if you're planning a seafood dinner. Now, I'm not a crab expert, so I can't compare them to every seafood market around. I can only speak from my own experience, and the crabs I've purchased have always been good. If you're going for crabs, get there early. They sell quickly, especially during the summer months. Another reason I keep coming back is the daily specials. They often have great seasonal deals, making it a perfect time to stock up on fresh seafood. Final Rating: 10/10 Fresh seafood, helpful staff, free parking, and consistently great quality make Captain White a place I'll continue to recommend.

At the table, we shared the crispy spring rolls, fried dumplings and chicken wings as apps. We all enjoyed these, especially the chicken wings. Everyone enjoyed their drinks too - the lychee li, the mango margarita, the botanical, the sticky mango, the old fashioned, the baccarat. We all enjoyed them. For the food we had the thai basil beef fried rice, general tso shrimp, panang curry, singapore noodles, house style wok tossed soft noodles, seafood xo, and the wonton soup. Most of us tried each other's food because of the healthy servings and most of us enjoyed what we ate. Our waitress Minzhi was awesome - friendly, knowledgeable and funny. The restaurant manager Q was nice and attentive as well. They even gave one of our party members a mango sticky rice dessert (which was just okay - would've been much better if the mango was riper and sweeter) and sang happy birthday to her. Overall, we had a lovely time. Ginger is pricey so be mindful of that before you go but if you're celebrating a special occasion/milestone, it will be a nice change of pace.

The staff was very helpful in deciding what to pick and guiding us through the menu. However, as good as the items are, I do not truly believe that it matches the price point. They were good but lack luster in seasoning in some aspects and the presentation was mediocre for what it was. This is a great restaurant to try for the vibes and ambiance of dining in MGM but being so close to a hot spot of asian dining, there is plenty of better options within the area.

The "new and improved" Fishmarket is one that we had tried to eat at a handful of times but it was always packed and I mean packed! Finally we were able to catch them on a not so busy day and I couldn't believe it, people were packing this place up and honestly it just turned into a big bar. The ex isn't a healthy eater so bar food and hole in the wall places are his thing. Again, this is your local neighborhood hole in the wall places. Definitely not my type of place but glad I was able to experience it. Would I come back? No, but you should try if dive bars and bar food are your thing. Food was eh!

Parking is ALWAYS a challenge every time that I've come. Once you walk inside you realize, this is NOT the same ole Fish Market. Talk about a total gut job. Formally, the restaurant was a traditional sit down neighborhood spot. Now, it has totally transformed into a sports bar with TV's all over the place. Fish Market has in my opinion the largest bar in the DMV. It is humongous! I applaud them for knowing where the money is and that's the bar! They also have a nice number of pub tables throughout, so as far as flow goes, I like this flow better than the former Fish Market. The menu has totally changed. I must say, I liked the old one better because it was a traditional seafood restaurant with all of your favorites. Now, its wings, pizza, fried fish and a couple entrees like salmon and shrimp pasta. All and all, it's a great spot if you want a strong drink at a decent price and even though it's mostly bar food, it's pretty damn good, especially the seafood pizza... Hittin!!
