A nice girls lunch with a lot of food for only $37/PP && that included EVERYTHING! All the portion sizes are great! For 3 people we ordered one of all the proteins we wanted && with the sides we had plenty. Photos below. We went around 1PM which was perfect timing as it wasnt busy at all. I will say i was nervous about hotpot in Waldorf but legit couldn't stop talking about it after we left. I can't want to go back again. Only suggestion i'd have is to upgrade the seats because the food is too good to be eating it on duct daped benches. read more

T Pot - EVERYTHING - Sushi Bars Near Me - Waldorf, Maryland

My husband and I recently visited The Tpot, and overall I'd give it 4 stars. The concept is fun and different. It's an all-you-can-eat experience where the food is brought to your table and you cook it yourself. The service was the highlight of our visit. Our server was wonderful, the hostess was welcoming and full of personality, and another staff member even stopped by to make sure we were being helped. That level of attentiveness is rare and appreciated. We ordered quite a variety, including squid, shredded chicken, shredded beef, shrimp, rolled beef, top steak, and several sushi selections. Most of the food was good, and everything arrived promptly. The sushi was decent, though not quite as fresh as I expected. I was also surprised that the top steak came as small cubes rather than a steak portion. The biggest disappointment was the no take-home policy. As first-time visitors, we didn't realize how much food would come with some of our orders and ended up leaving a significant amount behind. It's frustrating to see good food go to waste after you've already paid for the meal. The restaurant itself could use some updating. Several booth seats were worn and cracked, with foam showing through the upholstery. At $32-$37 per person, the dining area should feel a little more refreshed. For drinks, I had the Lychee Martini, which was weaker than expected, and my husband tried one of the Ocean cocktails and thought it was just average. He ended up ordering his usual tequila shot and a beer afterward. The drinks weren't bad, but they didn't live up to the rave reviews we had read beforehand. Overall, we enjoyed the experience, especially because of the excellent service and unique dining concept. With a few updates and some reconsideration of the leftover food policy, this could easily be a 5-star experience. read more

The food here is good, it's well worth the price. The ambiance is also very good, this restaurant was a hit when it originally opened for good reasons. However the service is absolutely terrible and only declining. Pace yourself when you're drinking whatever drink you ordered because the chance of you catching your waiter to get another one will be almost non existent. Mostly teenagers are employed here which is good for the work experience but they are too busy on their cell phones to check on their tables. Even when the restaurant is empty you will still not receive service. You will watch your waiter pacing back and forth on their phone longer than you will spend drinking your water/soda. I used to come here once a week but the service has deterred me so much that at most I come once a month and each time I come it's getting worse and worse. I've had to pull the manager up on shift one time to ask for a simple refill because my waiter was too busy on the phone. I'm usually a great tipper, 25% or more, here I simply give 18% because most visits I sit for 30+ minutes with nothing to drink and zero way besides walking up to the waiter to get their attention since their phones are so close to their face it's touching their noses. I won't even come for dinner anymore because the price is not worth their service. read more

They give you so much food. The free ice cream and chips has to be one of the best parts of this experience.

I've been to quite a few hot pot, Korean BBQ, and sushi fusion spots but this one didn't really do it for me. The quality and overall taste of the food just weren't there. They do offer a solid variety of options which is a plus and the service was okay. I'm a bit disappointed I didn't enjoy it more but it just didn't meet my expectations compared to other similar spots. read more

T Pot is hands down my favorite hotpot spot! From the moment you walk in, the fun and vibrant decor instantly transports you somewhere new--it really sets the vibe for the whole experience. The tables are spacious enough to comfortably fit large groups (I've seen families of 8!), and there's plenty of room to spread out and enjoy everything. Ordering is super convenient with the self-serve tablet, making it easy to keep the food coming. One of the best parts is the variety--you can choose from hotpot, or go all in with hotpot, sushi, and BBQ. I've tried all three, and they do not disappoint! The selection feels endless, which makes every visit exciting. I especially love that you get to cook your own food, even the BBQ. That's a big plus since many Korean BBQ spots cook it for you. It makes the experience more interactive and fun. The soup bases are flavorful and really elevate the whole meal. And now they've started serving alcoholic beverages too, which is a great addition! Overall: Amazing food, fun atmosphere, and a hands-on dining experience that keeps me coming back every time. read more

It's a great place. I really enjoy the hot pot and barbecue; getting so much food for this price makes it excellent value.

I would give this a place a 5 if they kept the menu the same but it recently changed. The TPot in Waugh Chapel definitely has better meat choices. The food is decent and has a hot and cold bar with lots of options to pick from. We've been here about 5 times but decided to try other places now. Music could be a little better because you can hear other tables around you. The service here is decent and you order mainly from a tablet for reorders. read more

All You Can Eat Hot Pot, Korean BBQ & Sushi? Say Less! @tpotwaldorf just opened in Waldorf MD and it's already making waves. We pulled up with empty stomachs and high expectations and let's just say, they delivered on every level. We kicked things off with refreshing mocktails--Pineapple Mango Mojitos and Passion Fruit Tea--then dove into a sushi spread that included Passion Rolls, Peanut Avocado, Dragon, and Dynamite Rolls. The Korean BBQ Dinner? Next level. Think lamb, chicken, short ribs, bulgogi, crab legs, shrimp, dumplings, and all the veggies you can dream of, grilled right at the table. Shoutout to our amazing server Tangela. Ask for her when you go! I took off a star due to no alcoholic options. Nonetheless, it Affordable, family friendly, and flavor packed. This spot is a must visit in Charles County. read more

Recently drove up from VA as we are big hot pot fans and really liked our first visit. Wait was way quicker than quoted and service was attentive and friendly. Using the iPad to order is super easy and allows you to pace your food. Items in the buffet were great for quick grab and tasty! Multiple types of kimchi! My only complaint is how sweet some of the marinades are for items that are typically not sweet when you get directly from a Korean restaurant (bulgogi, spareribs were two here that were extremely sweet). Super clean and nice inside. It has a very modern feel and things were clean. Will definitely be back and would recommend to others. read more

It's official, the Big Spoon is a fan of Korean BBQ! For dinner on Thursday he said he had another spot to try in the Waldorf area. Super cute restaurant, it's giving FUN! We arrived to a busy restaurant, we didn't have a long wait which was nice considering how busy it was. This is probably going to be our favorite Korean BBQ restaurant once they get their liquor license. I'm not even going to get into it! There is too much food to list! We ate like Royalty! And...... they have Crab Legs! Come Try this Place! It doesn't disappoint! read more

First time trying hot pot and @tpotwaldorf set the bar HIGH. Fresh ingredients, flavorful broth, all-you-can-eat options and such a fun dining experience. You get to order from an iPad and a staff member will bring out your food which makes the service so quick! We got the Hot pot, BBQ, and sushi option and that allowed us to try everything on the menu. This is officially a new fave! read more

This was my 3rd experience with Korean BBQ like this and my first at T Pot. Anthony was our server and he was great but my husband and I found the ordering process overwhelming and did not expect to cook our own food. In our first round of orders, our meats were odd "fruit roll-up" looking items with no flavor/ seasonings (stay away from the mystery meat meatballs!), that kept sticking to the hot plate, despite the oil we used. With the second round we realized, all the seasonings are at the sides bar but it felt odd to take bottles of seasoning to our table and putting it in dishes, was a lot too! We tried the sushi (just ok), and some of the Bulgogi meats which were seasoned in our second round, but they also stuck to the fire plate. They tasted better than our first choice of meats. The appetizer bar had a lot of variety but everything just tasted The soup but the broths weren't that flavorful to us. I had to do a lot to make it taste like something. We didn't realize our burners weren't on for a while and when they were turned on, they were on high, making the soup too hot. All in all I'd say the amount and variety of food you get is good for the price ($38 pp) but honestly I go out to eat, because I don't want to cook, and this defeats the purpose. I think the server did a good job explaining how to order but felt other things could have been explained more (about the seasonings, burners and hot plates) and he checked in on us frequently. All the food options are displayed on the tablet, and there are lots of veggies and items to go in the hot pots to customize your soups but again, overwhelming. We will not be back but this just isn't our "cup of tea". Resturant is clean, bright with neon lights and most of the staff were friendly and very helpful. read more

This was our first TPot experience. We got there early cause we thought they opened at 11. They actually open at 12. We were worried about going to a restaurant and having to cook our on food. We actually enjoyed the experience. It was great from the time we walked in until the time we left. The service was top notched. She was patient with us and explained everything very well. We went after Christmas so it felt good since seeing the Christmas decoration up all over the restaurant. The lunch menu is similar to the dinner menu. We will be back and we will try the dinner menu. The food was very good. If you go, go hungry because it is a lot of food. Remember you can't take home your leftovers. read more

While I absolutely love sushi, it is not a Korean specialty. Their sushi is somewhat bland and the rice is over or undercooked most of the time. The menu selection is pretty much the same as any other Korean BBQ/Hot Pot location. Nothing spectacular about it, nothing really stands out. The food isn't bad, the spicy bulgogi definitely has a kick to it but I tend to be pretty particular when it comes to most Asian foods. I've had Korean BBQ from other restaurants in the area and this one just barely misses the mark. Korean Firepan is, in my opinion, the best one in the area. Because I really don't eat near as much as I used to, endless plate options are mostly a waste of money but I do enjoy good food and I am more than willing to pay a good price for good food. read more

My party and I enjoyed our time at T-Pot Waldorf. Our server Tangela, was very attentive and friendly, she explained the process to us even though we were busy catching up and had to assist throughout the evening, we appreciated her willingness. The food was delicious tho it would've been more helpful for the names to be on the seasoning. Our non-alcoholic drinks were good but we didn't know that New restaurants in Waldorf were having trouble getting liquor licenses. read more

My family and I absolutely love this Waldorf gem, it's so great to not have to drive over the WW bridge to get some decent hot pot. I love that it has all 3 options, sushi, kbbq, and hot pot. Most places just have kbbq and hot pot. We dine here at least once a week, pretty much regulars. I can only count 1 time when we had bad service, but other than that our waiters and waitresses have been very attentive. I love the Schezwan spicy soup base, beef ribs, and the dynamite roll. It's clean and welcoming, the booths are large and always provide enough space for everyone to enjoy their meal without feeling crammed in. read more

The first time was awesome, we went during a very non-busy time of day. The second time we went it was dinner rush and it wasn't as fun as before. The value you get is a lot better than the other local hot pot, and the drinks are AMAZING. it isn't too loud, or too dark. It's low lit but you can see everything. Cozy and cute! Worth the price, but only as a once in a while thing when they're not super busy. read more

Came here tonight for the first time since they opened this location. We had been to the gambrills location and wanted to try this place out. There are 3 options for all you can eat: sushi, hotpot, and bbq. You get 1 choice for the entire table. All options come with the smaller appetizer section, but each of the options has specific menus on the dinner menu that it encompasses. We chose bbq and enjoyed spicy pork belly, beef bulgolgi, boneless pork ribs, and t pot spare ribs. We loved the marinades and the sides/dessert bar. Make sure you use the iPad to keep the meats coming to your table! We will def be back! Jake n kev read more

My family and I came for dinner, we had skye as our server and the service was horrible. We had to ask several times about our orders. We waited over 30mins for a drink that never came out. The full experience was horrible. I work in the food service myself and I understand we all want to go home but to provide service like this was unacceptable. Also might I add she asked me was I someone I'm assuming she had an issue with which was very unprofessional. Staff definitely needs more training in professionalism. read more

1st off, where can you go and get Hot pot, Kbbq...and sushi for 37 dollars? To me the hot pot is what brings me back to this place. You order drink with the waiter but your food through an iPad.....the food gets to your table fast!!!!!! The kbbq is good also!!!! read more

We came to try out Tpot as we heard it was relatively new. Our server was great in explaining everything, and in helping us when needed. And we definitely needed her help. After ordering in the tablet as instructed 90% of everything we ordered never came out. After 30 minutes we let her know and she was able to rush it out, which is very helpful in a restaurant that does a time limit. Once the items came out we had no issues, I would definitely recommend the hot pot and the sushi. The Korean bbq was just okay and there are better Korean bbq in the DMV area. Rather than having a menu that lets you just do 1 option or all 3 it would be great if they started a 2 option for a separate price. I would love to go back but would only want the hot pot and sushi versus all 3. read more

I would say for the area and the alternative options in this area, this would be a 4. But if I'm rating it to NoVA standards, this is a 3-3.5. We picked the barbecue option and enjoyed a variety of meat and veggies. It was easy to order with the iPad. Sauces and a small hot bar are available. These are self serve and items ordered on the iPad are brought out to you. The servers take your plates and help you with any questions. Please note that you have to cook your own meat and if you have never done so, you may end up burning your meat/food. There are also a wide array of little chip bags as well as Hersheys ice cream and fruit for dessert. read more

The food was okay. I had a party of 6, 5 adults and 1 child. My check showed 6 adults and 1 child. After informing the server my check had 7 people instead of 6 on it I was harassed and told we had 7 people This harassment went on until I remembered having the server take a picture of us. Once the picture was presented to the front staff they realized we only had 6 people. The aggression and harassment was uncalled for. I will never visit this establishment again. I am not sure if the restaurant is having financial problems or not but they seemed a little too pressed for more money. My check was $300. It felt like it was microaggression. I'm really upset about being treated in this manner. I guess I have to fly to Orlando for my Korean BBQ. read more

This past Saturday (5/31/2025), my friends and I decided to check out one of the two Korean BBQ spots in Waldorf. I remember this spot use to be Mimi's Cafe (?) some years back, and then another restaurant. Upon entering the restaurant we noticed the glowing giant panda which suggested we may have a good time here. I don't think we were wrong either. Our hostess was very nice and hospitable. She seated us quickly and friendly. Our waitress was also nice and friendly. She took her time explaining the menu to us, since this was our first time there. Once we got the hang of it, it was go time! We got the BBQ, Hot Pot, and Sushi combo. The price was a little cheaper than I expected. We mostly did beef for our meats and did have the chicken bulgogi. The beef selections were short ribs and T Pot steak. We also had the headless shrimp. For our soups, I had the tomato base and my friends had Miso and TomThai Yum along with vegetables and sliced beef. Cooking the food was pretty easy and fun. I liked the ease of ordering off the tablet, which most Korean BBQ spots don't do. The food tasted good and looked fresh. I'm definitely going back to try more of the menu read more

T Pot is very new to my area and I am so happy after 20 plus years in St. Charles County I may not have to go to Northern Virginia or DC to have delicious or diversity in restaurant options. This restaurant offered three all you can eat options: sushi, hot pot or KBBQ or all three. I ordered hot pot with bone broth which was rich and creamy a bit under seasoned however with the dipping sauce the flavor was spot on to my liking. Everything was fresh, servers were friendly, the new order came out quickly. read more

It was my first time visiting with 4 of my Girlfriends. We decided to do the Sushi, the Hot Pot, and Barbecue. On second thought, I would have not done all three for my first visit. because the choices were overwhelming. They gave us an iPad to order all the items but we did not understand that we should order a little at a time. We were overwhelmed by the large amount of food that came out at once. I think more direction in this would have been helpful for a first timer. However, I will say that everything tasted delicious and was very fresh. They offered free appetizers and ice cream in addition to the items listed on the menu. I definitely feel like my 2nd visit will be better as I have a better understanding of the ordering process. I enjoyed cooking things right at the table. The portions were generous so go hungry. The servers are very attentive and busy to keep items coming out and to remove items from the table to make space for more dishes. When we went there were open tables. But by the time we left, there were People standing in line outside to get in. read more

We loved this location. So happy it opened close to home. We got the hot pot with bbq and sushi option. It was delicious and the food kept coming. There's also side bars for sauces, sides, chips/snacks, and an ice cream freezer. It's definitely a good price for all that food. The person who waited on us was so kind and taught us how to use their iPad system which I appreciated. I like the fact that I don't have to wait for someone to come back around to order the next thing. However, she was always available when we had questions or were unsure about anything. The ambiance is perfect for family functions or a date night. I truly enjoyed my time and would come back. I also like there's a side table where you can drop dishes that you're done with and someone is always available to scoop them up. This prevents the table and cooking space from getting cluttered which I truly appreciate. At the end my girlfriend and I went up front and bought some Hello Kitty and Friends goodies which we absolutely love. We will all be back! A new favorite for sure! read more

It is too expensive! Everyone at the table had to order the same thing. But we have some people that have food restrictions and a vegetarian at our party. Also, they count kids 10 and under, every other restaurant has 12 and under. Meaning my 11 year old was counted as an adult. She couldn't eat that much food, but we had to pay.Our waitress was good and the food was fine but the bill was too much for no reason. There are other ways to account for waste control and that's not it. Unfortunately I won't be going back unless it's just me and one other person. Ohhh and you can't take any of your food with you even if you offer to pay for it. I hate waste but it's inevitable here. read more

Went on opening night and did not leave disappointed or hungry. Belly full & content. Pros: love that you can do everything yourself besides get your drink. They have a tablet where you order anything you want. Not bad! Considering they have only been open for a few weeks. Unfortunately my husband did not enjoy his meal and here are a few reasons why-- 1. Long wait times - we waited about 30 mins to be seated on a Wednesday.. (granted the place isn't that big) 2. Servers do not offer to cook your food (other kbbq's & hotpot we've been to usually offer) 3. The "hottest"'was not very spicy 4. Ventilation!!! We were seated in the corner and were sweating not sure how but we were HOT! 5. The meats were okay.. kinda confusing (other places give you a limit of at least 3 and choose more) We've been to other hotpots & kbbq in VA/Northern MD PROS: 1. I enjoyed the buffet option where they had the appetizers such as fried scallops, japchae, salt & pepper shrimp (this was my favorite) and even chicken nuggets for the kiddos Overral, it wasn't a bad experience. I just think things could be more organized but not judging like I said because they have only been open for a few weeks. They have too many rules. I was with a group of friends and whatever one of us ordered the others had to do the same (two box or three). We had one person who wanted the sushi but in order to get it they must order the 3 box, which means everyone in our party must order the 3 box, which is about $10 difference. They charges you $14.99 for food you requested but did not consume, per person (to reduce waste). You can not bring home leftovers (Understand for all you can eat). We had someone in our party with special dietary needs and they just wanted one appetizer, but you can not just order appetizers without the meal. There are two other Korean restaurants within a 3 minute, yes 3 minutes drive to this place (Bonchon and fire pan Korean barbecue). I personally will never go to T Pot nor will I recommend it to any of my friends. We were so disappointed we left and went to the other place. read more
