I've been to quite a few hot pot, Korean BBQ, and sushi fusion spots but this one didn't really do it for me. The quality and overall taste of the food just weren't there. They do offer a solid variety of options which is a plus and the service was okay. I'm a bit disappointed I didn't enjoy it more but it just didn't meet my expectations compared to other similar spots.

All You Can Eat Hot Pot, Korean BBQ & Sushi? Say Less! @tpotwaldorf just opened in Waldorf MD and it's already making waves. We pulled up with empty stomachs and high expectations and let's just say, they delivered on every level. We kicked things off with refreshing mocktails--Pineapple Mango Mojitos and Passion Fruit Tea--then dove into a sushi spread that included Passion Rolls, Peanut Avocado, Dragon, and Dynamite Rolls. The Korean BBQ Dinner? Next level. Think lamb, chicken, short ribs, bulgogi, crab legs, shrimp, dumplings, and all the veggies you can dream of, grilled right at the table. Shoutout to our amazing server Tangela. Ask for her when you go! I took off a star due to no alcoholic options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nonetheless, it Affordable, family friendly, and flavor packed.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This spot is a must visit in Charles County.

Recently drove up from VA as we are big hot pot fans and really liked our first visit. Wait was way quicker than quoted and service was attentive and friendly. Using the iPad to order is super easy and allows you to pace your food. Items in the buffet were great for quick grab and tasty! Multiple types of kimchi! My only complaint is how sweet some of the marinades are for items that are typically not sweet when you get directly from a Korean restaurant (bulgogi, spareribs were two here that were extremely sweet). [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super clean and nice inside. It has a very modern feel and things were clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Will definitely be back and would recommend to others.

It's official, the Big Spoon is a fan of Korean BBQ! For dinner on Thursday he said he had another spot to try in the Waldorf area. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute restaurant, it's giving FUN![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We arrived to a busy restaurant, we didn't have a long wait which was nice considering how busy it was. This is probably going to be our favorite Korean BBQ restaurant once they get their liquor license. I'm not even going to get into it! There is too much food to list! We ate like Royalty! And...... they have Crab Legs! Come Try this Place! It doesn't disappoint!

I really enjoyed this place! The food was delicious! We got the package with 3 options. Bill came to about $400 and it was a alot of us. The customer service is really good. They did well with explaining everything and checkingon us. The drinks were good and there are several options! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is cute and its clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I can't wait to go back!

This was our first TPot experience. We got there early cause we thought they opened at 11. They actually open at 12. We were worried about going to a restaurant and having to cook our on food. We actually enjoyed the experience. It was great from the time we walked in until the time we left. The service was top notched. She was patient with us and explained everything very well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We went after Christmas so it felt good since seeing the Christmas decoration up all over the restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The lunch menu is similar to the dinner menu. We will be back and we will try the dinner menu. The food was very good. If you go, go hungry because it is a lot of food. Remember you can't take home your leftovers.

Ended up ordering a little bit of everything, al la carte, because I didn't want kbbq or hot pot. Nor did I want to eat on someone else's clock. Maybe next time I'll order kbbq or hot pot, so I can enjoy the complimentary ice cream.

The meat quality is excellent, especially for all-you-can-eat. Just look at the marbling on the Kurobuta pork. Everything is sliced very thin, so it cooks almost instantly and reaches the perfect texture without becoming tough. I usually get the half original and half spicy broth. The original side is rich, savory, and comforting, while the spicy side has a deep, fragrant heat that builds without overpowering the flavor of the meat. The lamb skewers are also a must. They are fatty, spicy, tender, and almost melt in your mouth. They remind me of the lamb skewers from the street carts in New York. What impresses me most is how this place keeps improving. Years ago, they did not even offer all-you-can-eat. Now they have added AYCE hot pot, a self-service vegetable bar, and an AYCE skewer option, while somehow maintaining the same high quality of the meats and broth. Still my favorite hot pot restaurant after all these years.

The experience is enjoyable and the food is always good, however, the shellfish can be a little 'fishy' at times. They also have changed the layout a lot over a very short period of time. For instance, closer to opening you could self serve on some of the non-meat items. Now all that remains is the sauce/hot bar and ice cream cooler. The real issue and why I don't give this place a better review is that the server turnover is unreal. We typically go once a month and have never seen or had the same server twice. On our last visit, we ended up with someone who admitted to being brand new who decided to card a grey haired old man (me). I asked for a manager who wasn't much older that our server and they refused on principle because I challenged them; they also ignored my ask for a general or senior manager. You can debate the principle of having your age verified on any number of points, but when someone is clearly multiples older than 21, the principle falls away and the insult to intelligence begins to set in. I emailed the Gmail account associated with their contact form over a week ago and never got a response, which at this point, is my primary complaint and a point for people to take note of should they run across a situation where they try to reach out to leadership. Much like most places, it's luck of the draw and we got a really lousy draw last time, but honestly the service is somewhat lackluster. They have these tablet devices they want you to use, but you have to first have them be enabled by your server and then it's hit or miss as to when they will return to check in (presumably because we can order some things on the tablet, but not incidentals like a fork or a spoon, etc.) YMMV.

Dining here with 2 friends on a Friday, it was not too crowded and we felt comfortable inside. We liked that everyone gets their own individual hot pot, and can choose their own broth. I chose the herbal mushroom, and tried my friend's tom yum which was delicious and flavorful. The portions are a good size for each item (meats, veggies), so you can pick and choose without feeling guilty! The price and portion was very good and reasonable. The sauce bar is really cool here. I like that some sauces are pre-mixed so you don't have to stress about making a dipping sauce. I tried 3 sauces: their signature, a spicy one, and a sweet one and they all were delicious. (You can add additional toppings like cilantro, green onion, sesame oil, soy sauces, etc to customize it to your taste). I found them perfect, and didn't need to add much to it. We had more than enough food at the end, and left full and satisfied. I liked the ribeye slices, crown daisy, watercress, and enoki mushrooms the most! We also shared the seafood boil which was good, and the tom yum sauce was not too overpowering. Our server was efficient, and nice. He was very attentive when needed to clear our empty dishes, and refill waters. It was nice because since we spent over $40, our server let us spin a wheel to win a prize. We won a Thai Iced tea which was delicious! Definitely recommend their drinks too. Overall, I'm so impressed with this place, support local and try them out! Beef slices are either super fatty or not marbled at all. Each plate of beef tongue looks different, their quality is not very consistent. They used to bring out ice cream with the check, now you have to ask for it. I think the fact that it's not very sanitary sealed the deal for me, there are plenty of places in the area that are much cleaner. The dan dan noodles are more soupy compared to nearby Copycat, but it was still good. One odd thing that may be a one off, but worth noting is the wait time. With one other person there and no takeout pickups and three people in the kitchen, it took 35 minutes to get our first dishes. Over an hour later, we got our final dish- orange chicken. We couldn't figure out why there was such a long wait especially when other spots bring out the cucumbers within minutes of ordering. We were hungry so it added to the emotions, but worth calling out in case you're a rush.

The inside had a lot more tables than I thought and the space was bigger than I thought. If i'm being honest, I first chose this place due to the conveyor belt, robot, and $20 lunch price point. Unfortunately, I only kind of got one of those. To my shock, the price increased to $25 for lunch and the conveyor belt was no longer working. I was honestly most excited about the conveyor belt. I saw some reviews that said due to covid they stopped it but if you ordered things, it was sent that way. Unfortunately I think the conveyor belt hasn't been in use for a while because they had decor and everything on it. They did have to robot but it only delivered drink and desserts sometimes. There were even times the robot was on its way to deliver something and the waiter stopped it in the middle of the walkway and deliver the item himself. I wouldn't say the experience was bad but I think it was subpar. Although I did like that the tables give you individual pots because I've been to some places where six people have to share one pot in the middle and it's chaos because you have to reach over people so the individual pot was great. In terms of the actual food it was not bad. The server was actually nice and brought us angus beef which was a dinner item, although we were there for lunch. I mad a great sauce from the sauce bar. I loved the appetizers they had. The fried rice and noodles were exactly how I love it. The fried rice was how i'd have it growing it. All and all loved it and will probably go back at some point. Parking was a little of a hassle so I would keep that in mind. Even during lunch it was hard to find adequate street parking.

My partner and I came here for dinner on a Friday evening. The place was not crowded. It's a nice,…read moreclean, well-lit atmosphere with an Asian motif. Everything was good except for one thing, which I think is pretty important and influences my final score. When we arrived, I told the server we were new to hot pot and we wanted to try two broths. He showed us the iPad ordering device and told me that we should order a half and half pot for $1 extra to get two broths. So, I ordered a half and half pot, and then ordered a variety of meats and fish. We went up to get veggies, which were all being stored at a good cold temp and all looked good. Then a single SMALL pot (they have two sizes of hot pot) was delivered to our table, half one broth and half the other. As I put some of the ingredients in (we were feeding two people), the hot/spicy broth spilled over to the other (tom yum) broth, and essentially turned the whole meal into a spicy broth meal. We got no taste of the tom yum. As we ended the meal, I noticed that other couples had two different pots. We essentially were cramming food for two people into a single pot (and it was one of the small pots, not one of the big ones). As we went to pay the check, I asked the server if we should have gotten two individual pots, each with a different broth. He said "oh yes. I should have told you that." What??!!? So, we basically spent well almost $90 (including tip) for a single small pot of spicy broth mixed with other broth, and having to spend the time minimizing the transfer of broths from one side to the other by minimizing the amount of food we put into the small pot. Yes, I'm ticked off (and I don't tick off easily). The meal would have been very good, but I feel like we got taken advantage of and the server, when he saw us struggling to keep the broths separate and knew he should have been served two pots, didn't say a word, apologize, or offer us any discounts. I reached out twice to the restaurant through Yelp, but heard nothing back. Again, the meats looked good, the veggies looked good, the sauce station was a nice addition. But everything was crammed into a small pot that tasted the same. And they charged us an extra dollar for the privilege! Ugh. I'm really disappointed - and ticked off.
