Craving poke bowl for lunch in Upper Marlboro and this was the closest spot. I heard about The Spot from Yelp and decided to check it out. Inside it is decorated like a mall food court with some video games to give it an old school look. I ordered on the kiosk a custom poke bowl with spicy tuna and salmon and all the fix-ins. LOL just brown rice with kimchi, salad, mango and pineapple. My bowl was ready for me a few minutes past the quoted time. The staff were friendly and hardworking, but the poke was underwhelming. The tuna was flaked, but the salmon was cut in long strips. Also the pineapple was canned not fresh. Overall I would try other vendors at The Spot before ordering from Sushi Monsta again.

Sushi Monsta spicy tuna roll was overall really good. I wish I had a longer review, but with sushi, it's either good or bad, and this place had good sushi. The portion was good, but the price was a tad on the higher end for this sushi type. Yet, this is one of the few places in the Camp Springs area where you can get decent sushi that isn't from a grocery store. This roll wasn't bland, and it tasted fresh. I enjoyed it. If you are in the area, stop in and give them a shot. I will surely return to try some specialty rolls that they had.

The food was horrible. Worst sushi and ramen I've ever had. I threw everything away. I don't know how it has so many good reviews.

My first time trying their sushi. Great value. Very tasty. Will definitely order from there again. Not bad at all.

I love when bars have real fruit, I just think the mix was a little off but for the price I get it! Now... the food, OMG nothing short of AMAZING! The Shrimp Pad Thai was SOOOOO flavorful! It's literally my new favorite place to get Thai! Especially if I'm craving Pad Thai! The Chicken Basil Fried was was one of the best I've had in DC! I mean top 5 FOR SURE! It was the perfect amount of spice (even with me asking for it be mild)! The shrimp spring rolls were the freshest I've ever had! The flavors were on point! I loved every dish! Next time I'll try a Martini or Margarita! Thai restaurants usually have the BEST drinks so I'll definitely have to go back to try more drinks and enjoy my favorite dishes! Definitely recommending to every foodie I know! It's PERFECT for a solo dates or first dates!!

The sushi is great and they have great prices on food and drinks for happy hour. The apps are great size portions for the price. The music is great and it's a vibe. I visited this spot for a quick Saturday dinner, and we loved this quaint little restaurant with its friendly staff and energetic pop music. My friend and I both ordered their poke, which was quite tasty; the fish was fresh and the rice was nice and warm, but I felt that the ratios were a bit off. The bowl was 80% rice, and, while I'm usually more than happy to just eat a bowl of plain rice, there wasn't quite enough flavor from the residual sauce or toppings to keep the simple carb interesting. If you're vegetarian, though, this spot is a great place to sample some fun, vegan-friendly Asian fusion dishes. Their menu features fun combos like the Dirty Vegan, a super flavorful vermicelli noodle dish with fired tofu and veggies. I don't think I'll get their poke again, but I'd love to come back and try some of their vegetarian menu items!

The appearance inside is not breathtaking, but it's very urban rustic and charming. The service is consistently excellent, from the servers to the bartender. I really enjoyed my experience at Toki Underground!…read more Toke Underground a small bar and restaurant in the H st corridor which seems to be most well known for its ramen offerings. We got there nice and early on a Friday to enjoy the happy hour which is available from 4-6 on weekdays. As a part of happy hour they had several cocktails and small bites for $10 or less. I had the pumpkin spice spritz and an order of the fried chicken bites - both were really really good. I'd order both items again. For awareness, they limit dining in to about an hour and a half - because the restaurant is fairly small, they want folks to make their seats available for other guests pretty quickly. They weren't rude about enforcing this time limit, but they definitely tell you up front and quickly gather your orders/plates to help move you though the meal quickly. This is a nice date spot - it's coziness would make for the perfect ambiance in you're looking to grab a bite with that special someone. Pro tip: Be careful not to walk past it! The signage outside isn't the best, so it's very easy to miss the door completely (as I did).

The cashew base sauce is creamy but not too heavy and the plant based pork meat is a nice complement. I also enjoy sides like the brussel sprouts, broccoli and trolley fries. The fried cauliflower has a bit too much breading for me. They have great happy hour deals and food comes out relatively fast. Staff are always friendly!
