We stopped in after going tulip picking at a nearby farm. I was pleasantly surprised to find such good Vietnamese food in the area, and the menu is extensive. They have so much more than pho. We got the banh xeo, banh mi and beef pho. We really enjoyed the food. Loved the atmosphere. The restaurant is decorated with of old electronics, and the owner has an even better story to go with the food and decor. I wish I had taken more photos for Yelp. We've come to Pho Van before but I didn't leave a review apparently. It's easy to miss as it's in a strip mall off of Easton Parkway. The decor is pretty unique with a lot of old school electronics, music related. They have music in the background but not overly loud. Service was courteous and prompt. They have a wide variety of Vietnamese dishes . I like the Pho and it doesn't disappoint. Lots of good broth noodles and garnishes. I love the rare brisket version. You have plenty of table side options to get it to your taste preferences. I think you'd have a nice experience here, although it can get busy at peak hours. read more

This is the best, most flavorful Pho I have found on the Eastern Shore. I will be going back again and again.

The food is fantastic and very fresh. The servers are very friendly. The prices are very fair, most everything is $15-20 for an entree. It would be 4-5 stars..... but on multiple visits the wait has been excessive, tonight it was just shy of 1 hour for 2 of us from order to appetizers being delivered. I really wanna like this place but patience may not be my strong suit, especially when I am hungry! read more

Worth the drive! This place was recommended by a few people after I complained about the lack of authentic Vietnamese restaurant. It was about a 30 minute drive for us and Waze had us going in circles a bit in the shopping center so if it happens to you, look for WEIS Market! :-) We were greeted and had our pick of tables. Nothing fancy, your traditional mom and pop Vietnamese with spoons, chopsticks, siracha, chili paste and hunan sauce on the tables. We ordered the following that were quickly (less than 10 minutes) served by our super friendly waiter: Bubble Tea Van special Bun Sweet and sour shrimp Chicken Pho 2 Banh Mi Shrimp fried rice Crispy rolls Spring rolls Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was delicious and in huge portions! I had a close family friend rave about this place. So we had to stop by after a trip home from OC. Stopped by with a large party and the food here was awesome. As authentic as it can get out in this area. We ordered everything from the spring rolls, Pho dac biet, jack fruit smoothies, grilled pork with broken rice, and the crispy egg rolls. Everything was flavored and seasoned well. The summer and egg rolls were a must order. The Pho broth itself was packed with plenty of juicy tender cut meats. Some of us sipped the bowl down to the last drop. One of our friends had food allergies and is gluten free. Glad they had options for her. Overall we all really enjoyed our meals. The food portions and price were reasonable. Service here is great and everything was spotless. Highly recommend this place for some authentic Vietnamese food. My first visit to Easton, I live about 45 mins away so I came here to try a new pho spot. Location: Waze had me all over the place so if you can't find with your GPS, it's located in the plaza with the Five Below, Marshall's, Lowe's, etc. it's next to Weis market. Very nice area and I visited a few stores after I ate. Service: Needs improvement, however I can give benefit of the doubt. They had a hiring sign so I knew they were understaffed. There was a woman who did most of the front end work including orders. My orders (as well as a few others from carry out) we're screwed but again, I think it's a language barrier issue so PLEASE be understanding and kind. One thing I can certainly give them praise for is that they'll MAKE IT RIGHT. I overheard a carry out discussing order mistake bc they must've had issues at last visit and restaurant gave them 2 pho's on the house. Other ppl got waited on before me and served before me but although I was starving, I was still patient. If you are in a rush or have extreme food requests or preferences, I don't think this may be the best place for you unless you have a LOT of patience and understanding. Food: Delicious! However, my pho broth was not hot enough to cook my meat. I need my broth to be so hot I can't eat it immediately lol. I think the chef rushed orders bc about 3 tables came in right after me along with carry outs and it got busy! Lots of potential here. Iced coffee serving size was wack but you can see my pic. I served Vietnamese iced coffees for 5 yrs and never gave a small cup esp for that price. You should do at least 2 rounds of hot water in the dripper. They gave one and I drank it in like 4 gulps. I asked for no pork on my summer rolls and crepe and they disregarded all that. They remade my summer rolls and gave me an extra. I didn't send back my crepe bc hungry. The ambiance and space was nice! It seemed clean and had these cute napkin holders on table. The table accessories and utensils should've been more clean hence covid but ehh. Idk if I'd visit again. It sucks bc this place really has potential and staff seem nice. I think some better management and/or extra help could really go a long way. If I didn't live so far I'd offer help. My wife and I recently ate here for lunch. The server was kind and attentive and the food and drinks were delicious. The iced coffee and milk was great as was the mango bubble tea.We had the crispy egg rolls and the fresh spring rolls as an appetizer. Both were fantastic. The egg rolls were the best I've ever had. For the main course we had the hoagie and lemongrass chicken stir fry. Both were hits. 5/5 would recommend. Try this place! read more

Would give an additional half star so it's really 4 1/2 stars. Called in to go order at 3 o'clock for a 6 o'clock pick up. Place was fairly busy when I arrived with not many people receiving their food at the tables and quite busy carry out. I had to wait about 10 minutes to get my order and the lady was very nice. We ordered two bowls, vermicelli bowl's and one order of beef with mixed vegetables and chicken with mixed vegetable. Also an order of their spring roll. Everything was excellent and where I would normally put some soy sauce on my chicken and vegetables, it was not necessary with this dish. The four of us agreed that the food was excellent, the spring rolls were especially tasty with the peanut sauce. The only critique I might add was that there was not very much chicken or beef in our dishes. As previous reviewer's Have stated, this is not the place you want to come to if you are in a hurry. Living on the eastern shore in a small town means traveling farther to find Vietnamese food but this place is worth the drive. We were looking to find pho and other Vietnamese dishes and some places do not always do that so I was so glad to find this restaurant. I feel comfortable here and do not feel rushed. Service is always kind and they are busy but quick. The spring and crispy egg rolls are flavorful. Add some red Chile sauce with plum sauce and you get an even greater flavor with it. We always get the pho and I like to order something to share with my toddler. The fried rice combination was delicious and I believe they used sesame oil to fry it which made it feel less greasy. I also tried the van special steamed rice meal and my son loved it since it had savory beef, tomato and cucumbers. I noticed they also have vegetarian options on the menu if your looking for that. The strawberry smoothies do not disappoint nor does the hot tea and white wine. Having a toddler we sometimes have a hard time finding something he can eat so I love that my son likes Vietnamese food and they are joyful with him the last two times we have been. We still have so much more food to try there and I look forward to it. My only suggestion to them would be to have paper towels at the tables or thicker napkins since I feel like I am using too many of the small napkins they provide since they are thin. read more
