If you're traveling along the Route 50 and Bay Bridge area, be sure to stop by this establishment and sample their classic Japanese cuisines. Their menu offers a good selections of sushi, rolls, ramen, teriyaki rice bowls, and bento boxes. All entrees are freshly prepared, and packed full of flavors. While seating is somewhat limited, the staff tries their best to accommodate all of their customers. Take out is also available, but their Teriyaki dishes are so much better hot off the grill. Pricing is very competitive when compared to other Japanese restaurants.

Got as takeout during a vacation trip. M'lady had the pork Raman and loved it though I'll note that the only thing that made jt "pork" was the inclusion of 3 pieces of Gyoza. I'm a bit of a sushi snob so I'll be the wet blanket and comment on under seasoned rice. Gyoza and Shumai were pretty good. The service was great: showed up, ordered, and received my order quickly. The place looked nice enough and had enough staff to operate the entire restaurant if it were filled. But happy wife, happy life. Would do again.

Wow. I cannot BELIEVE how delicious their food is. I honestly didn't have high expectations because I thought it was your ordinary hibachi take-out restaurant. And wow did they prove me wrong!! I have had my fair share of sushi throughout my life (probably have eaten at 100+ different sushi restaurants throughout the country AND internationally), and this place is certainly in my top 5, especially for the price. The fish is extremely fresh, and just melts in your mouth. This place has left me speechless. I'll definitely be returning almost every week, as I'm from the area!

Nice ambiance- SHOGUN, a must try fo' sho!

This place was our shot-in-the-dark pick for dinner while driving from Maryland to Boston. We chose it based it on proximity and type of food, fitting for our individual tastes(there were 4 of us- 2 adults and 2 kids). The restaurant was easy to find and parking was plentiful. The establishment was pretty busy upon arrival with people coming and going for takeout/pickup and dining. We waited two minutes for a table to be cleared for us without reservations about 7pm. The kids were excited they offered a rare Asian soda (the one with the marble in a glass bottle... win!), and I was happy they had kid options. For under $10, a cute bento box of rice and teriyaki beef was more than enough for my 9 year old. We ordered special sushi rolls to share, which on Thursdays, they have a promotional buy one get 2nd half off- another win! The regular adult teriyaki chicken was perfectly portioned with nothing left, but enough to satisfy. The ramen was so delicious, I had to ask about the recipe. Eddie the owner was extremely generous in disclosing the deets with me and I was shocked how elaborately authentic it was. Unfortunately, I'm not going to share publicly to leave you to have to try it out for yourself! The reason they didn't get 5 stars is because they were 1., forgot on order of gyoza- which we didn't need anyway, 2., the table was still sticky after "cleaned" for us. I'm very particular because I use to run a restaurant. 3., the bathroom sink handle was not installed properly. There was a sharpie mark to show the off position, which to me lacked that perfect status. For these reasons, to be specific, I'd rate it a 9.7 out of 10. LOL Honestly, this place has a lot of potential. The food we received hit the mark. The service was courteous, timing on food expo was appropriate for the peak of dinner time, and meeting the owner made the experience friendly and personal. Kudos to Eddie, his wife, and the entire staff! Keep up the good work!

Stopped in on a Saturday afteroon with my nephew. Service was good and fast. I ordered the Shrimp Tempura bento box. Not really good. Not a fan of having EVERYTHING fried and the rice was dry. My nephew had the beef teriyaki kids bento box. Now that was pretty good ;) [ i had a few pieces lol]

It did not seem fresh. The sushi seemed mushy and the teriyaki meat seemed questionable. I would not eat here again

Definitely time to update my review. Wowww it's been awhile since my last visit…read more We were in the area and I was in the mood for seafood. Took a drive across the Chesapeake bridge and it was worth it. I ordered the broiled seafood platter. It was amazing... came with two sides. I chosed potato chips and green beans with bacon and onions. Everything was delicious but my seafood platter was the BEST!! My husband ordered the scallops which also came with two sides. One being the stewed tomatoes, as well asparagus. My husband said he enjoyed it all. They even gave us some good rolls to go. Service was prompt. Ordered online and was ready as promised. I would definitely be returning again whenever in the area.

A family-style joint, the seating is plenty with tables and booths large enough to handle an office party or a family reunion. Our party of 5 started with hush puppies with a syrup and honey for dipping and the hot crab dip. Both were exceptional. The rockfish bites which were crispy with a nice spice of wasabi cream. The shrimp scampi - the best I've ever had - had a rich sauce, plump scrimps and amazing, crunchy, garlic bread. The crème brûlée was one of the creamiest I've enjoyed and the pies are ridiculously huge. With a friendly and frequent service, there's really no way to leave this spot unsatisfied.
