The noodles and vegetables were cooked okay, like a microwaved meal with a cloyingly sweet sauce (no balance to acid or sourness), but the "chicken" pieces were a horrifying, gelatinous texture unlike any protein I have ever had. I did the 3 rolls for 12$ I got shrimp/crab, eel and shrimp tempura rolls. The lunch special comes with a choice of soup or salad. I got miso soup since it was freezing. Soup was good but a bit salty. Rolls were okay. The eel was pretty good flavor rice. The shrimp and crab just seemed plain to me and the shrimp tempura was uneven in production. I really liked this place. Service was fast, the miso soup was nice, with huge pieces of tofu, and the sushi was really tasty. I got tuna sushi which was fresh, with a huge cut of fish and a nice amount of rice, and a Crazy Tuna roll, which has shrimp tempura inside and spicy tuna on the top. I couldn't find a reason not to give it 5 stars. The service was fast so since it was lunch time I could easily go here for my lunch break. Parking was ample and service was friendly. It is a small restaurant and I was the only one there. I ordered the sushi lunch special. The California roll and shrimp tempura rolls were good and fresh. You have a choice of me so soup or salad. The house ginger dressing was really good. The salad was basic but fresh. I got a can of soda that was nice and cold. I caught up on the news while eating from the large tv. I thought the price was very reasonable for lunch. With all this said, it was still eastern Shore sushi. It's not the best I've ever had but it was definitely not the worst. I didn't get desert or anything extra so I can't comment on that at this time but I will be back so I will update this review at that time. They have bento boxes! I've been here twice with 6 months in between, but each time the owner's family was there and using the dining room as their own living room. As many have stated, the owner's children were running around everywhere during my visit as well. The food quality seems to have dropped for some reason (I had some of the same rolls as the previous visit). Also, the staff was not seem particularly happy to be there.
