My first time trying Sakura Sushi, and on Friday night as well. Arrived a little after 5PM and had no problem getting a table. Very clean and neat restaurant with inviting decor. Staff were excellent, and they had a nice selection of sushi, sashimi, and maki rolls. Had a miso soup as an appetizer and it was pretty good. Ordered the special Sakura roll. Eight large pieces, and it was very beautiful. The roll was pretty good, although I thought it would have a little more heat. There were other customers coming in for dinner and some takeout orders but service was still pretty quick. I'm looking forward to trying some of their other offerings in the future. I've ordered here a few times some times it's amazing and other times it's just okay. But they ALWAYS forget my yum-yum sauce. I've had sushi from here before and it was great. The other night, however, my husband and I called in an order for carry out and it was horrible! Our rice was burned and our pepper steak was mushy fat and undercooked vegetables. The meal was inedible. $40+ dollars later & we still had to make dinner after a long day in Baltimore at the hospital. *UPDATE* Sakura did make it right by giving us a credit to try it again. This time I also got a single sushi roll with my, "from the kitchen" order. My family got coconut shrimp & teriyaki shrimp. Let's just say this is the place to go for SUSHI. The service was exceptional- efficient and kind. We've passed Sakura many times coming home from our happy place (the beach), and tonight decided to stop for dinner. What a beautiful restaurant! Clean, inviting, welcoming. We were greeted and seated immediately. We ordered hot tea and water with lemon. The tea was the perfect temperature. For starters we had the shrimp egg rolls. They were served with house made duck sauce, and not at all greasy. The only thing that would have made them better would have been house made mustard. But, nonetheless, they were tasty. We had a Spicy Tuna Roll, Sweetheart Roll, and sashimi. The presentation was absolutely beautiful and the sushi was fresh and delicious!!! We also ordered chicken and broccoli which came out just as we were finishing our sushi. It was presented beautifully as well. The chicken dish was still hot from the kitchen and very good. Our sever check back on us several times to see if we needed anything more. We also watched the sushi chef prepare a gorgeous "boat" filled with sushi. This is by far my favorite sushi restaurant in Easton. Went here for dinner with my family and we had a wonderful experience. The sushi was made to order and tasted absolutely delicious spot on perfect. I also had edamame as an appetizer it was excellent. I ordered tofu for dinner it was called Boudah delight and it tasted wonderful. My parents had coconut shrimp as an appetizer it was wonderful my husband had coconut shrimp as a dinner with a side of fried rice it was wonderful again. The amount of food we were given for the price that we paid was extremely generous the portions are absolutely huge the price is very well reasonable. One roll had seaweed salad and others had a variety like salmon, tuna and crab. They were very full and good taste. They have good lunch specials 3 special rolls for 26.95 with 2x soup and 2x salad (which is what we got) and I thought it was more than worth it. They had another special for 2 rolls and a lot of other things. But as far as the sushi I was definitely impressed. The decor isn't all that.. the vibe isn't all that either.. servers are prompt. We love sushi and have been looking for a good restaurant since moving to the area. We purchased take out from this restaurant and was unsatisfied. The sushi was falling apart, was mushy and had little flavor. When I spoke to an employee at the restaurant and expressed my concerns she agreed to refund me some money. No more than 2 minutes later, she calls back and says she will not refund me any money and called me a liar. I was refused any type of apology for poor quality of food or dismunderstanding of the refund. I wasn't asking for a refund, but an acknowledgment of poor quality food.
