When you step in everyone is friendly and welcomes you. The sushi making station is to the right and the order station is right in front of you. They have big menus on the wall above the register. It didn't really take too long to get my order considering it is all fresh made. The bulgogi burrito was amazing. Not sure the sauce they put in it but it definitely helps the flavor. The bulgogi and rice is average. It's what you would expect to get. The sashimi was great tasting and in portion sizes. The korean chicken was good and saucy. Had the right amount of crisp. They use normal half wings, not the giant chicken another place uses. Portion sizes are really good especially for the price. Recommend you come check this place out. Good place. Pretty slow Friday when we came for lunch. First time for us. Menu board is over the cash, or they have paper copies too. This is a counter service restaurant. Order at the cash, and they call your name to pick up at the main counter. I ordered the bulgogi bipimbop. Awesome, and it comes with a side of golchuchang (spicy pepper) sauce. My wife had the 1 meat bento box which had an enormous serving of bulgogi. They have a standard soft drink serving machine. Clean place and friendly folks working there. Recommended. read more

Small place, but lots of options. I really enjoy their obento boxes and miso soup. Their sushi is really good as well and the prices are fair. Anytime I've walked in I've been greeted/welcomed by multiple staff members. From the time I've ordered, it's always been maybe a 7-10 minute wait at most to get my food. My only complaint is regarding their seafood hotpot. The one time I ordered it, the seafood didn't taste fresh, it tasted like it was previously frozen. Otherwise the soup was good. I would order the hotpot again, but not with seafood. As a heads up, the hot pot and ramen are dine in only. read more

Full disclosure, I'm biased towards smaller establishments. Since I'm in the area about once a week for work I figured I should start branching out my lunch options: enter Yummys. After seeing pretty strong reviews I decided to stop by for lunch shortly after opening. I was met not only with no wait but a very friendly and welcoming staff. I surveyed the menu and settled on the Burrito. At a crossroads between the Chicken Teriyaki and Bulgogi as my meat of choice, the employee at the register recommended I go with the latter. Good thing I asked. The burrito was indeed a smorgasbord of cuisines, with the tortilla, bulgogi, and even yum-yum sauce coming into the mix. All combined created a unique medley that was worth the exploration and giving places like Yummys a shot. read more

Came here for the high ratings on my way to the college. The burger is a must try, it was interesting, sweet and very oily. The soup I was expecting the OE egg, like normally but got scrambled (didn't read the menu that well). The place was crowded and loud the people were friendly, the meal was a bit of a wait...and it didn't come out all together for our party..it's definitely not a fast food but I'm not sure it's worth all the hype. read more

I didn't feel like cooking the other night so I searched for restaurants near me. This location popped up, and got me interested because I love sushi. I ordered the chirashi, ramen burger and bulgogi burger. I am extremely pleased with the quality of the sushi in the chirashi. It is fresh and firm. The shrimp tempura wasn't all that great, I've had better. As for the ramen burgers, it was interesting that they made pattys out of ramen. I don't know if it was supposed to be crunchy, I imagine it should be like pan fried cake noodle, but the ramen burger patties were stale like to me. They would have been better if it was crunchy. We did order to go so if it was fresh maybe it would have been better. The flavors of the burger were delicious. I love the sauce on it. My husband prefers the bulgogi burger over the regular burger. read more

Food-the food is absolutely amazing, everything i've gotten from the crunchy eel roll to the chicken katsu. I've had almost the whole menu as I am a regular and they certainly do not disappoint. Highly recommend the crunchy eel roll as I see myself going back to it again and again. Service- the service is some of the nicest i've seen as the restaurant is family owned. Every employee is nice and always give us the best customer experience. Ambiance-the restaurant is very quiet even at the busiest hours, the restaurant is clean and very new. If you like Korean and Japanese food you should try this place. I like the new location mainly because it has lots more parking. I like the clean and tasteful dining area. The obento box is perfect. This place truly does a great job with both Korean and Japanese food. I love the bulgogi, gyoza and the sushi. We love this place!!! My husband recommended it for dinner one night after we couldn't decide on where to go. He had seen some of the reviews and wanted to try it out. Honestly it went above and beyond any expectations we had. The staff is incredible including the owners who don't hesitate to help the staff out and really connect with the customers. My husband is working his way through the menu each visit we make, as for me I rely on their recommendations for sushi to try and they have yet to let me down. Yummy's has moved and is much closer to the rest of the food services. They're low stress, low key, but maintaining their original selections they had in the great mills area. The food was hot, delicious and flavorful. I got a mix of items and they were all great but their ramen soup with the tofu was amazing!! The texture of the tofu and noodles were great and the serving sizes were perfect. They had nice soft lighting and it was not to loud as some restaurants are, since they changed locations they quickly got their new location prepared and open for business. Don't drive by too quick or else you'll miss this little hole in the wall restaurant. Went here on a Saturday afternoon and no customers were there which is a nice surprise so we could order quicker. It took about 15 minutes for our orders to be filled which was a little longer than I'd like for an empty restaurant. The food was very good and I've never had a teriyaki burrito before! Very clever and new take on a traditional American dish. However, it was a pricier than I would have liked given the relatively average portion sizes they gave us. All in all, a good restaurant if one wants a traditional Asian dish or something new with their Asian-American fusion cuisine! read more

Nothing beats Yummy, from the amazing combinations they have, to the great service, and finally the price of the sushi (much cheaper than anywhere else).
