I'm in town for work and this place was recommended to me and I'm so glad I went. I liked it so much that I visited twice. First let's talk about the place. Getting to the restaurant is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The place is pretty clean and there is lots of seating. The people are very nice and polite. They greet you as you enter and are very clear with how the menu works. And now for the food. Their dishes let you pick a protein with white or brown rice and 4 side dishes. The first time I went I had the beef bulgogi. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture but it was delicious. It was juicy and flavorful. The next time I went I ordered the spicy pork. I have a decent spice tolerance so I didn't find it too spicy. They were also incredibly nice and gave me the bottom of the batch that is drenched in sauce after I asked. It was incredibly tender and delicious. The best part is the meals are filling at a fair price. I'm glad I tried this recommendation and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in town. read more

I have been living here for about a year and a half and never noticed this spot. I was at a store across the street and I noticed the restaurant. I had been wanting some Korean food for a while. I decided to stop by and I was not disappointed. I got the Grilled Chicken, Mandu, Bulgogi and White Rice, Japchae, and Macaroni Salad. The Mandu was cooked perfectly, the Bulgogi was juicy and flavorful, and the Japchae was nice and firm, not mushy. There was a nice authentic feel to the restaurant. I lived in Korea for a while and had their food firsthand. They were able to bring the same flavor over to the United States. The customer service is great. The server and the cashier were very nice. I sit between giving this place a 4/4.5 but I choose to give them a 5 because I can really feel this place is an important staple to the SOMD community and brings diversity needed here. This place is an express kitchen so you do expect it to at times be not as fresh/hot as a made to order dish. I got the spicy tofu place with kimchi cucumbers and japchae. The tofu was lukewarm but honestly delicious and I imagine it's a hard item to keep super fresh. I also got a side of the spicy potatoes and they are so good. What really made this meal wonderful for me was seeing the family take a break from cooking and sit down for a warm meal. Truly a family ran restaurant and you can feel the love. The place is immaculately clean and has a great vibe. I highly recommend stopping in for a quick bite. read more

Let me start by saying that the food here was good. It had been a while since I had eaten Korean food. And my first time at Woo's. I didn't really know what to expect, but this is like a lot of restaurants nowadays; choose your meat, then pic your Veggies/ sides (up to 4) as well as rice (white or brown). I expected them to fry or cook the sides. But they came as the were presented, and uncooked. I ordered the Gal Bi (grilled short ribs) with watercress, mushrooms, Kimchi, and Korean bean sprouts on white rice. The Gal Bi was amazing, and all of the sides tied in perfectly. Next time I'll try the spicey pork though. The service wasn't bad, it just felt a little flat. Inside was clean, and apart from a few people getting orders to go, we were the only ones there. We came in for lunch and were helped right away. It's small in the inside with about 8 tables. The gentleman who took our orders was very friendly. I had a regular plate which consists of rice, meat or tofu and four sides. I had the spicy tofu, white rice, cucumber kimchi, regular kimchi, spicy noodles and Korean beat sprouts. The tofu and rice portions were huge. Everything was very flavorful. Although, I do wish the spicy tofu had a bit more spice/heat. I took off one star because the tofu was barely warm. The food and staff is very nice and the food is amazing it reminds me of home from the rice fish and so on

The interior of the restaurant is so nice, welcoming, and modern. At first the setup surprised me since I had thought that it was a sit down restaurant, but it's more similar to a Chipotle or Cava. The employees there were patient and kind while we decided and ordered what we would like. I got a regular bulgogi plate with spicy noodles, japchae, dumplings, and cucumber kimchi. The japchae was delicious but my favorite side was definitely the spicy noodles, they were so good. I tried my mom's crunchy tofu and that was also really good. The food here is amazing! I have had all the meats and tofu. Mr. Woo is super nice and very accommodating. Mama Woo makes incredible food and every time I eat here it's like a delicious food hug from my grandma...if she were Korean. One can wish! If you're overwhelmed by the side choices, don't be they are all good. Top two for my fam is the japchae and the spicy tofu! The galbi here is worth the price. Got the spicy pork and it was delicious! The kim chee is also spot on! This is a small restaurant with a few tables only. The menu is pretty small. It's almost like subway style. You pick two or three meats and then you move down the line to select your veggies. Overall, the portions are generous and the food is very good. Just enjoyed an amazing lunch at Woo's thanks to my neighbors recommendation! Ordered Bul-go-gi with white rice, and 4 veggies (see picture). I also got the sliced beef for my daughter, which you know I sampled. Everything was surperb! If you've never tried Korean food, do yourself a favor and check this gem of a restaurant out! Seriously, the flavors deliverd in this food is amazing! The bul-go-gi had more flavor than the grilled beef but both were delicious and tender. The veggies stood out on their own but my favorite was the cucumber kimchi and the watercress! Less favorite was the bean sprouts but even that I could eat without complaining. Delicious and authentic Korean food! You can order Chipotle-style to create a plate of multiple sides and entrees, or you can order a bibimbap bowl. For vegans or vegetarians, this is a really great restaurant as they have plenty of veggie sides (there are more than 10 veggie side options) and really delicious "spicy tofu" which I would describe as actually being sweet and savory instead of spicy.
