Getting to the restaurant is easy to find and there is plenty of parking. The place is pretty clean and there is lots of seating. The people are very nice and polite. They greet you as you enter and are very clear with how the menu works. And now for the food. Their dishes let you pick a protein with white or brown rice and 4 side dishes. The first time I went I had the beef bulgogi. Unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture but it was delicious. It was juicy and flavorful. The next time I went I ordered the spicy pork. I have a decent spice tolerance so I didn't find it too spicy. They were also incredibly nice and gave me the bottom of the batch that is drenched in sauce after I asked. It was incredibly tender and delicious. The best part is the meals are filling at a fair price. I'm glad I tried this recommendation and I'll definitely come back next time I'm in town.

I saw that N &N, aka Nena's (on their sign), has a hot food bar as well as catering services. I double-checked that they had beef lumpia and made sure that they wouldn't run out by the time we got there (since it would be bit of a trek). You make your way to the end of the market, and you place your order(s); lumpia is made fresh-to-order, and I could see some of the staff filling and handrolling the lumpias in the kitchen - such a good sign! The lumpias came out piping hot, and I loved that N &N serves it with the sweet chili sauce (instead of that other weird sauce that other automatically include) - these were deep-fried, crispy, and the beef filling was flavorful and garlicky. We got some beef and pork mandu (dumplings) that were pretty good. 6 pieces for $10 on HH. We got two entrees, the Ddukbokgi ($28) and Yukgaejang ($29), which came with four banchan. Ddukbokgi is chewy rice cakes, gochujang, onion, and bulgogi. We thought it was only ok -- we've had better, including at Mandu in the past. Yukgaejang was a new dish for me. The menu described it as a "spicy beef stew, brisket, noodles, shiitake, bean sprouts, and egg." I expected the brisket to be sliced and recognizably brisket, but it was pulled -- it looked and tasted more like pulled pork. The dish also didn't have any noodles in it. I didn't like it. The banchan was seaweed, bean sprouts, kimchi, and cucumbers. It was okay. Service at the bar was fine.
