Had family come to town and wanted some vietnamese food. It would take too long to go to VA so we went to the only local place after hearing it was good. Let me tell you, it was anything but good. We walked in with 6 people and were just pointed in a direction to grab a table. Instead of the side with tables big enough for six, we had to go where the small tables were and pull them together ourself. Then the host/server came with menus and silverware for five. We asked for one more and he said we have enough, which obviously we didn't. Since we just sat down we didn't know what we want yet so he left and didn't come back. We had to finally go find him after 10 minutes waiting. We finally ordered and didn't see him again until food was brought out. Once it came out and he asked if we needed anything, he left again while we ate and never returned to see if we need refills. Lot of us sat with empty glasses while eating until long after we finished. When food came out, all the pho bowls were luke warm. Considering how long it took it should have been hot. Only one plate of pho fixings were brought and we had to ask for more for the others. Once we tried the pho it was just barely average tasting. Better than waldorf location but still not great. The curry really surprised me. The curry sauce was poured on top and not mixed so it didn't look like much. After mixing it it seemed adequate but I would have liked a little more especially since the curry tasted good. There was a good amount of meat as well. The chicken salad was OK, but the chicken was burnt on the edges and was dry. Definitely disappointing in this. Couldn't return it since waiter disappeared til everyone was long done. Over all an extremely disappointing experience. Will suck it up amd make the drive to VA next time, even if it means waiting til next day. read more

The food is nothing special. The service is awful. Ordered pho three times to be delivered. Quick, healthy meal, I thought. Each time something was wrong with the order. First two times it was missing ingredients. The third time the delivery driver had dumped it over. Ruined. When I called, they said there was nothing they could do, that it was DoorDash's responsibility. A good business takes responsibility to ensure every customer is satisfied, even if the business was not the proximate cause of the problem. I have way too many choices for better food that is presented right. I could forgive it if there wasn't a pattern. But it shows that they just don't care about me as a customer. We ordered from here 1/28, around 6PM, takeout. We've been here many times before and always had great things to say. This time, not so much. The rice noodles were overcooked, soggy and sticky. The meat, despite ordering triple of it, was the same amount as we normally get on a standard order. The limes were hard and produced no juice. The cilantro was basically nonexistant. It was bad. We called the store and got someone who told us that the manager wasn't available, "in a meeting" or something. They put us on hold for like a minute and then came back saying they talked to the cooks and everything was definitely normal and okay. Explained that it super wasn't okay, and got the glorious "Well, what do you want me to do about it?" A refund, obviously, which they gave us. And I'm quite appreciative, and we will likely be giving this place a second chance in the future. However, you did ruin the only date night my wife and I have been able to have in the last two months, so you get this review, and a serious middle finger. read more

So I went during CoVID but the takeout service was great!! The place looks REALLY clean like almost unnaturally clean. The furniture is taken care of and the squashy arm chairs are a nice touch. I visited this place a few time when I visit Solomons Island. Pretty consistent. I've never dined in. The food is always packaged very nicely, but it never labeled which would be helpful as out last order was for 7 people. The pho broth is amazing and they give large portions. The summer rolls were a miss and 80% lettuce. Wouldn't get those again. The Shaking Beef was really good but could have used a little more sauce. The pho here is really good! I've been craving some pho for weeks and we finally made our way over to this place and I'm glad we did! Decent serving sizes (could be bigger compared to other places I've been), and the meats were all really tasty with the broth. I like a lot of lime and they were not stingy. The service is slow, but I'm assuming that is because we were there it's first Sunday night and the FOH staff obviously haven't been trained or had much experience except for one girl who was helpful. read more

I just left this placein Lexington Park to come back to my hotel room so that I could tell you my thoughts on this place! This place is worth every bit of the pho! I have had pho this great since I lived in Las Vegas in 2016-2018. I have lived in Texas since then and I haven't had pho this good! I had the A2 Fresh Shrimp Summer Roll and the P1 Pho D'lite (the works of beef). My summer rolls came out in less than 4 minutes of placing the order and they tasted very good I must say. I am not a fan of the peanut sauce, but I do like the other brown sauce on the table with some Siracha. the summer rolls are see thru and it tasted sooooooo good! Another few minutes passed, not even 5 minutes I should say, and my pho came out with the added veggies on the side. I added the bean sprouts, the sliced jalapeno, and the basil leaves. The pho was marvelous and so were the added kinds of beef. The broth is what makes the pho delicious and it was stupendous! I haven't had pho this good since being in Vegas and I could see the grandfather making the Pho behind the counter. That is how I knew this place matched up well with it! I am honestly surprised that this place isn't as popular as it needs to be. It was very clean, nicely lit, with no odor at all, and the service was on point. I did not have to wait more than a minute for my waiter to come and bring me another drink. It is definitely a place that should be highlighted as one of southern Maryland's best-kept secrets. Great to see the former location of the Roost so busy and modernized. Unfortunately, the Mercury astronaut history was lost for the most part in the various restaurant renovations in between. Dining at an Asian restaurant embraces more than just eating good food. Cultural ambiance also plays a large role in making ones experience complete. Having said that Pho D'Lite misses the mark on the latter, although the food was acceptable it also missed the mark when compared to other soup kitchens in the DC area. Little things like Vietnamese drip coffee and the glass of ice that accompanies it as well as a pot of tea rather than a small cup with a tea bag and warm water. The waitress did not know what I was talking about when I asked for either. Overall we left feeling that the restaurant was not authentic but a knock off with an American flair. We travel the country and have had pho in many places including Vietnam a little more attention to detail and cultural traditions and who knows. I hope this helps the owners reconsider how they want to share their cultural cuisine with their customers. read more
