The one and only Meatball Beef Pho with some added Shrimp!

And we have another 5 stars review spot for the 20653 Zip! I'm even impressed with my soup for a carryout order. Everything was still fresh-fresh and steaming hot! The chef even came from the kitchen to cash me out to make sure I received my food while it was hot.. Not sure where the cashier was at the time.. Nevertheless, I was in and out quickly as possible without know hassle or inconvenience. Also, I noticed the how quiet and mellow the restaurant was, so I will switch it up next time and dine with in with my wife!. So f you're in the 20653 Zip check them out, you won't be disappointed!

Near PAX River NAVAiR Station, this little place offers a great Butter Fried Wings and a bowl of Phở. I liked both dishes.

Quick service, fresh and tasty food. My brother was also really happy with the bowl he got. Parking in the back, plenty of seating inside.

The pho is plentiful, savory, and hot. I love it. The shrimp spring rolls was a little weird texture wise but delicious without the sauce... not a fan of peanut sauce. Try it for yourself.

I visited this place a few time when I visit Solomons Island. Pretty consistent. I've never dined in. The food is always packaged very nicely, but it never labeled which would be helpful as out last order was for 7 people. The pho broth is amazing and they give large portions. The summer rolls were a miss and 80% lettuce. Wouldn't get those again. The Shaking Beef was really good but could have used a little more sauce. Over all really nice clean pho spot with friendly staff.

The food was delicious and very filling! My first time eating pho, and I wasn't disappointed. It's very quiet and calm and the ambiance is very comforting. If I lived around here, I'd come here more often!! The service was very fast, food came out quick.

The pho here is really good! I've been craving some pho for weeks and we finally made our way over to this place and I'm glad we did! Decent serving sizes (could be bigger compared to other places I've been), and the meats were all really tasty with the broth. I like a lot of lime and they were not stingy. The service is slow, but I'm assuming that is because we were there it's first Sunday night and the FOH staff obviously haven't been trained or had much experience except for one girl who was helpful.

This restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Clean and spacious with good service and tasty food. Prices are reasonable. Not a large menu but there is a nice blend of Thai and Vietnamese inspired dishes. We tried the pho and the vermicelli bowl. All of it was excellent.

    The plastic bowl

Meh. Big plastic bowl of broth, noodles and 3 thin slices of meat, no "delight" was discovered. The lime slices made it have flavor otherwise I was starting to question the meaning of life. To pho or not to pho, it will always be a question on my mind. Costumer service was good!

Horrible pad Thai with no sauce! I called the restaurant and they offered no resolution. Will not order or return again and don't recommend.

So glad they were open New Year day We get a little sticker shock looking at the extensive menu,…read moreprices were a few dollars higher than most similar VN places but we want to like the food enough for future visits. The room decor is nice and music track of instrumental songs was pleasant for conversations We tried Bun Bo Hue the middle region spicy beef and pork soup, tempura salt and pepper garlic squid appetizer, and stir fry chaxiu roast pork & vegetables with pan fried egg noodle dish. Surprisingly, this restaurant has served me one of the best rendition of Bun Bo Hue , it has the right level of Unami and spice for my tastebuds to make it a return item better than others in many places I have tried in CA and NVA. The thinly sliced beef brisket and pork meat dumpling and roll were tender and flavorful to add interest to an amazingly complex broth cooked with probably toasted ginger, onion, bones, lemon grass, fish sauce, rock sugar and fermented shrimp paste. The only thing missing was the tender skin on pork feet and correct side herbs and vegetables for this type of soup. If they have these, I'll be there every week and gain weight fast. We liked the other dishes also for their great sense of seasoning and variety of fresh ingredients. Their dipping sauce for the squid is delicious. The stir fry noodles and pork tasted great to get a thumbs up from my son. The kitchen seems to know its business when it comes to taste. We will make it a point to return for other dishes as well to explore the range of their kitchen. I could see that they were a little understaffed so folks were a little impatient when the kitchen gets a little back up with orders. Service over all is good because the one waiter had to cover the dine in, carry out , and bussing the tables as well and has a chilled sense of humor to handle minor fussiness from hungry customers. People often don't tip folks in this type of ethnic restaurants even the normal 15 percent even on holidays. It is probably very hard to find dependable hard working service folks for small business these days.

They desperately need to hire more people. One guy on a busy Saturday waiting all the tables,…read morecleaning them (not really), and ringing up at the register. There was another guy there smoking outside who could have helped. This is the only pho in Calvert County, and while it's priced slightly higher than pho in Northern Virginia, it's solid, and a dependable option here in this county. That said, the restaurant was so messy on Saturday, it was likely to drive potential customers away. Clean the tables, please! The area in the back on the way to the bathroom is a disaster too, but the front tables were covered with dirty dishes, and the debris from previous patrons. Good luck finding one clean/empty table at 6 on a Saturday. The food is good but if the interior stays like this, I'm very unlikely to to return much, unless I get take-out.

We don't expect exactly the same dishes and were not disappointed in freshness, quantity, and uniqueness. Viet Taste has its own, I believe, interpretation of some mainline traditional dishes and we found them delicious and interesting. Midweek lunch for two that included two appetizers and two main dishes with water to drink cost about $50. There was enough left over for another meal. Service - Good (3). Pleasant and effective. Timing on service was unpredictable. Appetizers served after mains for example. Diners who arrived long after us were served before us. Yes, it may be that dishes are delivered when ready, but there was no messaging about delays. Ambiance - (1) needs work. Overgrown plants, unkempt sidewalk in front, and a grimy restroom with no paper towels were signs that some maintenance was needed. The entire space has the potential to offer a much better experience given size and furnishings. See photo of bathroom light switch plate. Next time we may opt for takeout. Overall good and interesting food unique for Salisbury. I hope they upgrade the environment and successfully remain in business.

I came in craving pho, but a few TikTok videos convinced me to try the Bò Kho with noodles instead of the baguette. I started with a summer roll, and I have to say I was disappointed. I make spring rolls at home, and this one felt extremely basic. It only had vermicelli noodles, shrimp, and romaine lettuce. No cucumber, no carrots, no basil, no scallions, none of the texture or fresh flavors that usually balance a summer roll. It wasn't awful, just...flat. This was also my first time having a summer roll where I had to pick out shrimp shells as I ate it, which definitely took away from the experience. For my main dish, I ordered the Bò Kho, and the broth did not disappoint. It was rich, flavorful, and a really nice switch-up if you want something pho-adjacent but a little different. The meat was extremely tender, though the pieces were cut into long chunks, so you basically have to bite through them if you want to eat it together with the noodles. Overall, this is a cute little lunch spot if you're craving something warm and comforting. If you don't want to drive too far and just need something to take the edge off your pho craving, it's worth a try. My rating is more of a 3.7 than a 3, but for is just simply too high in my opinion. While waiting for my order, I noticed the staff (who seemed pretty young, not saying that negatively, just observationally) loudly talking about not getting tips. Loud enough for the whole place to hear. That was my first sign that the atmosphere might be off. When my order was ready, they didn't call out the item or confirm anything, they just said my name, tossed the tied-up bag on the counter, and walked away. I watched them call other orders properly with names and items, so the contrast stood out. Regardless of how good food may be, customer experience matters. I didn't ask for a manager because I've worked in management before, and I know staff behavior often reflects internal leadership and environment. Still, it's something worth noting: even for quick-service or takeout spots, courtesy and professionalism go a long way. This interaction felt dismissive and honestly off-putting. I'm not writing this to be harsh, just to be honest. This is why I prefer to tip in casHopefully it's something the team can improve on, because small interactions shape the whole experience.
