The complexity of the brown sauce was so good, all three of us commented on it. High marks on this dish. Next we ordered Singapore noodles with no meat. The light green curry spicing of this dish is pure magic. Best noodles I've had in three years of veganism. Get them with chicken if you are a meat eater. Hunan style bean curd was also delicious. My parents used to own a Chinese carry out, with a very similar menu, and we have not been able to find a Chinese carry out that competes until now. I came here specifically to support a small business. I ordered the Shrimp Lo Mein and Sesame Chicken combination plates. Both come with fried rice and an egg roll. Overall: The two combos out the door were about $22 total. If the food had some more flavor I'd have really enjoyed it. It was more of just a good texture/good looking stomach filler. Icing on the cake, their fortune cookies have no fortunes in them haha! ZERO issues with customer service, wait time, or portion size...the food simply lacks flavor. Shrimp Lo Mein: Great texture and cooked well. It was moist but sadly flavorless. Decent ratio of shrimp/veggie/noodle. Needed to add soy sauce to this. Sesame Chicken: Looked great and tasted great. Zero complaints about this item. Fried rice (included with both combos, seen in pics): Fresh and good sized portion but lacking ingredients and flavor. It was just rice and onions. Not too oily, just wish there were some peas and carrots in it. Egg rolls (1 included with both combos, no picture): They were decent sized and full. About the size of a toilet paper roll. Family Run business. Super friendly encounters every time. Grateful to them as they always put our bigger family order in an open box, allowing for stability transport to home. Hot, yummy even spicier dishes are full of flavor & youngest kiddos enjoy too. Their Shrimp egg rolls are the perfect compact on the go health snack when we are on a road trip or out exploring. Little candies available while you wait to help keep excited kids calm. To go tea in large covered container is lightly sweet and great alternative to sodas. We were looking for a quick place to pick up lunch. I called ahead and placed an order for 5 lunch specials and it was ready in about 20 minutes. For the lunch specials, you get to choose a soup or a soda in addition to your entree. We got General Tso's, Orange Chicken, Sweet and Sour Pork and Roast Pork Lo Mein Lunch Specials. The food was not bad at all. I had low expectations just because the few reviews they had weren't that great. We were all happy with our orders. 5/17/20 update. Ordered online for pickup. App was easy to use, but did not indicate when food would be ready. Had to call the restaurant to check (45 minutes). Masks are required and only two customers in the store at a time. We ordered wonton soup, spring rolls, mei fun and sweet and sour chicken. It was all ok, and served hot. Prices are very reasonable. Looking for a good carry out in Calvert County is as simple as picking up a phone. Especially when you live on Calvert County, and pretty much anything will pass. There is no selection at all here. The most exotic dish you can get is Mexican. If you don't want chinese, then all you got left is Mexican, or Italian. Caribean, Nope! Vietnamese, Nope! Indian,Nope! West African, Nope! They just recently got a Thai spot, and I guess we will see how long that will last. Otherwise it's burgers, subs, and pizzas. I ordered a 20 piece wing from this location, and General Tsos Chicken. The chicken was bland, the fries were fries, and it didn't come with mambo sauce. The General Tsos was decent. I have a trick though. When I order General Tsos, I always make sure to tell them no extra sauce. Because most people scrape the extra sauce on top of the chicken after they frie it, and it sogs it down. Just take my chicken out of the sauce, and serve me that. It'll make even the most average GTC good. The service here was decent, and if I was hungry and back in the area I would consider coming back, but it's nothing to rave about. read more

I'm sorry guys I've eaten here two days in a row, (mainly because my co-worker likes it). First day I had their seafood platter and it really didn't have any flavor ate about two thirds of it. Second day I had two egg rolls and some pork fried rice. Well the egg rolls were dry and had no taste-I mean really how do you mess up egg rolls? The pork fried rice was ok but a tad on the salty side. The positives are its cheap you can get in and out for under ten dollars, and the proprieters are very nice and friendly. Recently tried Dynasty for the first time and we were disappointed. My daughter loves lemon chicken and orders that every time. Soon as she saw it she said it looked different than other places but it smelled great. Unfortunately it was not good, the chicken was not good quality. So sad as this used to be our goto Chinese takeout place. Food quality seems to have gone downhill over the last year or so. Shrimp Eggrolls were extremely greasy....even the hot and sour soup had a layer or oil on it. The crab rangoon filling didnt taste like crab at all.....more like cream cheese with sugar added and there was hardly any filling in them. Shrimp fried rice had plenty of shrimp but was very bland......same goes for the chicken and broccoli; very bland. About the only dish here that doesn't disappoint is the General Tso's chicken. I have been coming here for over 2 years now and have come expect a friendly, fast and homey feeling when I go there. The food is prepared right in front of you and they will do their very best to satisfy their patrons. Whatever you ask they will make; from great dishes like sesame chicken or chicken with garlic sauce to crab rangoon to french fries. I have been coming to Dynasty in Lusby since they opened many years ago. I was a regular and came every week. I LOVED all the dishes at this restaurant. Unfortunately, the owners have left the area and are using new cooks. I am sad to report the food is no longer of high quality. The chicken is rubbery. The sauces are not as they should be - not worth eating. Sometimes I throw it away. Everything has changed and not for the better. I wish the owners would ask the customers what they think so we can get the old flavors back in all of the foods. Even the chicken fried rice is bad. How can you mess us fried rice? I have given the new management at least 6 tries now. I am done until they bring back the old recipes. Very sad as this was one of my favorite places to eat! read more

I used to love this place but in the last month the food has been so bad. The shrimp egg rolls have always been my favorite but here lately they're just an over cooked oiled filled mess. I had oil dripping down my hand the last time I ate one. There's only one shrimp in the egg roll so you might as well save some money and get the regular ones. I used to enjoy the good at Dynasty. Unfortunately the ownership has changed and the new owners don't take quite as much pride in their products. I waited a few months before reviewing, hopefully to give them time to hit their stride. This has not happened. The quality and taste of the food is rather hit or miss now. Definitely some items are made from frozen rather than in house. I used to really enjoy the pot sticker/dumplings. Now they are what I could get frozen from BJ's. Same for the egg rolls, which are served cold in the center. The pork fried rice we got last night was glistening with oil. Not in a good way. It tasted like they simply heated up a pre-packaged mixture in about a cup of oil. I do like ordering online, but thank goodness I didn't pay online as several things were left off my order. I'm truly sorry about this review, and I hope they improve. In the meantime, be wary. read more

With the new owner, the service is terribly bad, the food taste different and more greasy! The new staff taking order is very rude, no customer service skills and like to ague/fight over the phone. I always order food from them but with the new management, not recommended to anyone or check your order before leaving coz sometimes they gave a wrong food and charged on your account that was not in the paper bag. read more
