Been to Blue Wind before but had not provided a review. Went for lunch and it is always a good experience. I had the rockfish wrap with a side salad. Excellent wrap with fresh ingredients. The vibe and service here is always outstanding. Great place to drop in for lunch or wine tasting when able. We did drop in for wine pre-dinner. Good choice and good service. Nice selection and good times.

Still holding up to all I have said before. Ive come several times over the years to dine in, take out, and Grubhub and had great experiences each time. GLOWS: - chicken pesto wrap is still a winner! - Cute vibe -On site parking (limited) GROWS: -There was a little confusion when placing a dine in order, but all was rectified

Brie and ham sandwich. Lentil soup.

Awesome little cafe spot, with an attached wine/beer/liquor shop. The food was delicious (found it a bit weird they served on disposable plates). The lentil soup was delicious and I got a fantastic latte, probably the best I've had in town so far.

I was brought to this fine local place by my customer and I loved it. I got my sandwich and one of their house iced tea. I could also see its "cellar" with great selection of wines. I wished not to return to work so that I could try some of their awesome wines.

I was in town for a meeting and like to try local places to eat. I found this place on Yelp. I almost didn't go here because the parking lot of was full. Thankfully someone left so I got a spot. It's not a big parking lot. But it's a great local place that you can tell it's where the locals go. I had the special--roast beef with blue cheese. It was delicious! Nice salad with shaved Parmesan cheese. This place was exactly was I was looking for--local place with sandwiches. The staff was friendly. Service was prompt. I'd definitely recommend this place.

Visiting from Utah. Blackened Shrimp Tacos and berry hibiscus tea is excellent. Last time I had the salmon salad and this was delicious. Haven't been disappointed yet.

Welcome items!

I was pleasantly surprised of how well prepared my food was and the customer service of the two young ladies working. The atmosphere is definitely conducive for small groups or just couples. It has a variety of options of wines that you can't get in this area as well. All 3 of my wraps/sandwiches were fresh-fresh delicious.. I'll be back!!

Rock Fish Wrap ($12.95)

Cute locally owned business with fresh, simple food! I ordered online for pick up from here. It's a small, homey looking place that's also a liquor store as well as a chocolate confectionary. They forgot one of the items in the order so I had to drive back, but understandable. I had the Rock Fish Wrap with the large lentil/bean/quinoa soup ($12.95 + $4 side upgrade). The wrap itself was a little bland - I had sprinkle it with my own seasoning. The fish seemed fresh, but I'm not even sure if there was avocado in it! Soup was absolutely delicious. The sandwiches and wraps seemed a little small -the Chicken wraps (other orders included the pesto and the chicken mozzarella) were teeny tiny! The chocolate chip cookies looked huge and delicious so if I come again I'd definitely grab one of those. Anyways, I'm happy to support local businesses and would probably come again if I wanted a simple sandwich. Owners seem like very nice people :)

Blackened shrimp tacos with the side salad.

This place is a hidden gem! I'll start with the beer and wine. On Wednesdays, alcohol to-go (bottles of wine, liquor and packs of beer) are 30% off. If you open a bottle of wine and drink it in-house, there is no discount but they do NOT charge a corkage fee. The food was excellent and the menu is actually quite extensive. **the shrimp in the blackened shrimp tacos come COLD. I asked for them to heat it up, she did so without hesitation and it was awesome!** The section of locally made chocolate made my mouth water. We tried the chocolate covered oreo and it was so tasty, we bought two more to take home with us. Can't wait to come back to this place and try something different off the menu!

This place never disappoints! I continue to be impressed by the quality of their food and the vast selection of new spirits (both wines, beers and liquors). Yesterday I tried the chicken tortilla soup and was BLOWN AWAY by the richness and depth of flavor (it has a little heat so if you don't like a touch of spicy order chicken noodle or the lentil soup). I also love, love, LOVE their Blue Wind Turkey Reuben! The turkey is piled high on delicious rye bread and the homemade sauce is excellent. Seriously, it's the best turkey Reuben I've ever had. I've tried the roast beef and the gyro as well. The roast beef is delicious and I would definitely order again but the gyro is average. Check this though, you get to select your side to accompany the sandwiches: chips; soup or salad. The price is more than reasonable folks...don't miss this treat! I'm sorry the soup didn't make it to a photo ‍ and in my excitement the sandwich barely made it. Naturally I loaded up on all my favorite chocolates while there so I'm doing the happy dance.

Tried this locally popular quaint cafe located in a small strip mall in Leonardstown in Maryland…read morefor brunch. We came an hour before they closed at 2 pm. Parking was tight because the parking lot was crowded with large trucks and SUVs. There was noticeably a steady stream of customers coming in as the restaurant nears its closing time. We were readily seated in a booth next to the window and greeted by a friendly and funny green haired Josh who, because we asked and was curious, gave us the story behind his green hair! Entertaining and someone who showed he truly enjoyed what he does! We ordered spicy Philly Cheesesteak, corned beef hash with two dippy sunny side ups, and pancake and bacon - all good. Josh was attentive - our coffee cup, soda, and water were refilled in a timely manner. There was also a dessert cart that came around peddling really yummy cupcakes, cheesecakes, and cookies. If we stayed in the area longer, we'd return to Linda's cafe. It is a local find worth a stop.
