I came in for lunch with my family, and we received such a warm welcome and were promptly shown to a table. Megan, our server, was absolutely wonderful! She took our drink order and was really helpful with her suggestions. The filet was seasoned just right and cooked to perfection. The fried oysters were absolutely delicious. The fried shrimp with the boom boom sauce on the side was truly amazing. The angry crab cake was a bit spicy but still incredibly tasty. Enjoying a delicious meal with a great view of the water really made the experience special--couldn't be beat!

The food was fantastic as always! We love going to see the view. Even with an extremely busy night, the service was still great. All the staff was friendly.

The ambiance was really nice and the view was great from the outdoor seating area on a sunny day. Location had adequate parking and the interior decor was clean. The food was ok, I say that because the crab cake sandwich looked good butt the taste was not as good as it could be. It could have been made with less fillers and more jumbo lump crab meat to compete with the best. Also ordered the loaded baked potato which really didn't seem loaded, it didn't have much taste since the cheese and toppings were minimal. I may come back for the view and try some other dishes next time,

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner after stopping at Calvert Cliffs State Park. The atmosphere was lovely and there was plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor. We arrived at 5 pm on a Sunday and there was no wait. Our sever was kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. Food and drinks arrived in a timely manner. Restaurant seemed family friendly. We ordered the Lobster Roll which was served with their delicious potato chips. The two rolls were served cold with large lumps of lobster meat in the lobster salad, but a side of drawn butter was also given to us. The lobster had a little dusting of Old Bay on top which added a nice Chesapeake touch. The split top roll was deliciously buttery. Market price was $45 that day which seemed fair for the two rolls we were given with large lumps of meat. We also ordered the bacon wrapped scallops which I found to be just the slightest bit over done.

DH and I have been a few times, but to be fair, DH grew up on Solomons so he has known about The Lighthouse for YEARS! Every time we have come together, it has been super chill and busy enough in the restaurant to notice how busy it was getting. However, even though it was busy, our servers were always attentive and friendly. Let's talk about the food. Always get the crab cake! It is SOOOO good! The hush puppies to dip in honey is different and delicious! They were a happy discovery! Honestly, everything we ordered has been perfection with the crab cake always stealing the show. It's always quite nice to visit The Lighthouse. The service is great and the atmosphere is chill. We will be back for sure!

The location is ideal as it overlooks the waterfront. The food is absolutely delicious. Of course seafood prices always tend to be listed at "market price" and it's sad that far too many entries are priced over $30 and ordering á la carte. Note: The service team could have been a little more responsive as I had to leave our table to seek out assistance with finding five small plates. This confused me as we clearly suggested that our family would share two desserts. Shouldn't these plates have arrived when the coffee and dessert was served? Bottom Line: We'll be back and trust the managers will coach the wait staff to check in with guests more frequently. Pssst, they then to congregate in that side room, with no line of sight with your customers.

When we entered, we were seated and our waitress warned us that she wasn't a server, she was a bartender so give her some leeway. We went during dinner time but the place itself was pretty vacant. We ordered our food and most of us wanted the famous crab sandwich or crab cakes, so she put in the order and left. About 10 minutes later, she explained that they ran out of stock because it was sold out due to being featured on the news. So everyone ordered something different. We ended up waiting almost an hour for mediocre food. There was one soft shell crab left so we got it and split. It was very disappointing, the crab itself was tiny, and the quality of the. seafood was poor. Nobody was able to finish what was on their plate even though we were starving from waiting so long. I would not recommend this spot, service was okay, wait time was too long, and the food was mid.

If you're just looking for a bar to enjoy a couple domestic beers during a football game with maybe a side of fries, this is probably a good fit for you. Verified Untappd venue (iykyk), with what seems like endless taps and an even more impressive selection of cans/bottles. Bartenders are pretty damn knowledgeable about the product as well, which as a beer nerd is perfect. The food is fantastic. From appetizers (the fried vegetables are heaven) to entrees, it's the perfect amalgamation of classic bar food and Indian cuisine. Today when I was in I had the Taphouse (Lamb) Burger with fries and a side of their Makhani sauce (Pic attached). If a place has a lamb burger it's my immediate go to every time, and I have to say Taphouse has the best I've ever had. The lamb was cooked and seasoned perfectly, the vegetables were fresh, and that feta is that perfect accompaniment to round it off. The Makhani sauce is just good on everything. Could drink it. Not kidding. The venue offers a welcoming outdoor area and a semi-private indoor space perfect for events. I've booked Taphouse for both corporate and personal gatherings, and it's the easiest, most reliable spot in the County for hosting by far. Beyond the food and drink, Taphouse, and especially Sunny (the owner) are one of the most community engaged businesses in Southern Maryland. They have put on countless events supporting all types of local organizations, and always work with nonprofits when they need anything.
