    GODZILLA !

I have only had the gold wings cooked crispy. 4 times I have ordered it. The attention to being cooked crispy is always respected, and they are REALLY GOOD ! One day I'll try some other wing sauce. Atmosphere is cool. They are creating a fun place to hang.

Five stars for opening faster than I have ever seen a restaurant turn around! (2 months? Less?) Tonight our table was blessed with Hush Puppies w/ honey butter, Ahi Tuna Lettuce Wraps, Atomic Seafood Pasta, and the Sirloin Steak served with garlic masked potatoes and broccoli. Our fruit course was a Cran-Apple Mohito. The Hush Puppies couldn't have been more perfect... crunchy yum mines liaise and perfectly done on the inside. Served up with a house-made honey butter we couldn't decide if the butter was the perfect accompaniment or the hush puppies were the perfect serving utensil. The Ahi Tuna Lettuce wraps came with an abundance of marinated and seared Ahi served over slaw in romaine lettuce leaves. The sirloin was cooked to my perfect medium rare, was served over the most delectable garlic mashed potatoes, and broccoli that was cooked just to my liking. And then there was the seafood pasta. They weren't kidding when they said it was like having a big bowl of crab dip. Mussels, shrimp, and lump crab in a Cajun Alfredo sauce. We are only taking home leftovers because we ate all of the hush puppies and Ahi. The Cran-apple Mohito was every bit delicious as it was beautiful to look at. It's a bit of a drive for me but I will be back. This will be my stop for seafood before and after enjoying the water view at Solomons Island. I wish the business well, and if you have been missing Atomic Seafood and Bar, come check out the restaurant under new management!

I was in the area visiting a friend and decided to give this place a try. The interior is very chill and laid back and they have a "Touch Tunes" so you can select your own music choice. The bartender was very friendly and let us know about all the events they host and the weekly specials. Since this was just a quick stop, I only got their wings and they have a pretty cool selection of wing flavors. So I decided to try the "Hot Honey Old Bay" and the "Brown Sugar Buffalo" and they give you the option to get both Ranch and Blue Cheese dressing at no extra cost; which is a plus. Both of the flavors were super good and they give you a good mix of drums and flats. A order of wings comes with 8pcs for $12 and the cool part is they let you mix flavors. Based off of my wings experience I will definitely be back to try more of there food items plus more wing flavors.

I was way down in Lusby, Maryland when I stumbled upon this place called Atomic Seafood and Bar. Before I entered the establishment, I thought it was going to be more of a restaurant with a bar attached to it. This place looked more like a sports bar that happened to serve some seafood dishes, so at first I was a little concerned. Usually this style of restaurant means terrible food, and even worse seafood. However, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised by my experience that day. The staff were very kind and extremely helpful, and the food was fantastic. We ordered the Homemade Crab Dip with Garlic Bread as an appetizer. It was amazing. It was creamy, crabby, and hot to the touch, and the garlic bread was a great serving platform for the dip. I highly recommend trying this dish. For our meal, we had the Blackened Haddock Sandwich with Homemade Tartar Sauce. The fish was nice and moist, and the blackening seasoning was so good with a bit of a spicy bite to it. The homemade tartar sauce was delicious as well. To make things even better, this restaurant serves some of the best French fries you could ever sink your teeth into. Those of you who have read my reviews before know I'm a diehard French fries guy. I just love them. The French fries at this place did not disappoint me at all. They were thick-cut, rectangular, and seasoned, like slivers of fried baked potato. So amazing. The only slightly negative things I have to mention are: 1.) The faucet and trash can in the restroom. It was a free floating trash can that had a broken lid, and was shoved under the sink counter containing a rusty faucet. This is your restaurant, and details in the bathroom reflex details in the kitchen. Invest some money into your business and get a new sink faucet and a trash can that affixes to the wall, or buy a new lid for the old one. 2.) There were storage boxes (looked like they took down the Christmas tree recently) out where customers could see them. Again, it reflects badly on your business. I am sure it might seem like I'm nitpicking, but details are important in the service industry. You are selling the customer the entire experience of dining in your restaurant, not just the food and drinks. All in all, I definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone in the area looking for a fantastic meal, and great service.

Stopped n for lunch today ordered a oranges crush to drink, it was a little on the bitter side. For lunch I ordered the fish tacos fried with it came out looking good. The fries had a great taste just wish they were cooked a little longer the fish on the tacos was fried perfectly they had a wasabi sauce on them that I didn't care fir wish they had like a coleslaw with a sweet n sour sauce or a sweet n spicy sauce. The meal was good just wish there was a different sauce. Will return to try some of the other items on the menu.

We only ordered fries and drinks. Everything was on point. No complaints from end. The vibe was very casual. It was Friday karaoke night so everyone live.. Our waitress was on point and she made sure we was good entire night while we watch the Iowa vs UCONN.. I stamp this place fam!

Meet the Head Chef, Ray, on my first visit. We talked about how he got into the business, the ups the downs, COVID, catering and his love for cooking! Never have I had such a wonderful conversation with a Chef in his domain. AND the food is absolutely fantastic!!! Learned about their Sunday brunches, meet some locals who are practically there everyday, no exaggeration. Had the Atomic Smash Burger with pickled jalapeños and 2 patties with an onion ring and it was the bomb. Also tried the Hush Puppies (which I am not a fan of anywhere), BUT, these puppies with the Honey Butter are the Winner. Will definitely be returning.

Ordered the Fried Seafood Basket to-go and everything was DELICIOUS. I travel all over the DMV area searching for new restaurants to experience, and I am absolutely floored that this little gem of an establishment is so close to my home! Everything in the basket: fish, shrimp, crab balls, hush puppies (with corn kernels inside, no less) was fried, battered, and seasoned to perfection. (I did pay an extra $2 to upgrade from fries to hush puppies.) The pièce de résistance: the crab balls. I bit into them and was met with pure crab meat, not a mouthful of filler. My palate thanks you. I will be back, as there were many items on the menu I was looking forward to trying.

A nice addition to the lusby food scene. Tucked away in the town square shopping center. Inside features a bar, several hi tops and some booths. Social distancing in place. Staff wear masks and gloves. Paper menus in use. Mostly seafood but some other items like the smash burger are available. We were greeted promptly and our server was ready to go. Tried the catfish po boy and the fish and chips. Fries are hand cut, hushpuppies are very nice and the homemade slaw is delicious. Prices are ok, about $14 for a po boy. Will definitely be back.

What can I say about this place- as a sister restaurant of Island Hideaway, the food is just as good! Friendly bartenders, decent beer selection, good sized shrimp and great fries! Honestly, my only complaint is that they don't have Heinz Ketchup ( if you know, you know) Definitely will be going back. So great to have great local food!!

They roast their own coffee! Wow! Yum!…read more On a weekend morning (Jun 2026), we were in the vicinity of Solomons MD, and friends said that Bugeye Grill roasts their own coffee. That got our attention! We stopped in at this bright clean restaurant on a late weekend morning, (weekdays they open at 5pm). The French-press coffee was a tasty fragrant medium Brazilian blend. The flavor was well balanced, and it was a good smooth non-acidic coffee We found it to be a creamier fragrant brew, not a darker roasty flavor. It had a lightly malty sweetness and nuttiness, characteristic of its blend of Brazilian arabica, robusta, and hybrid beans. They have different blends from time to time. They really are a full-menu restaurant terrific views of Back Creek, and a midscale-classy vibe. They focus on seafood and steaks and lobster! We saw sandwiches around $20. This time, we came for the coffee. It was luscious!

First timers on Solomon and at Bugeye Grill. I will admit that we stopped by this restaurant…read morebecause it was one of the first ones that had outdoor seating (we were visiting with a dog). The restaurant had a nice variety of dishes and specialty cocktails...I think that I was more interested in the latter. ;) Since I have not visited Solomons, MD before, I cannot comment if the prices are comparable to other places in the area. However, most of the entrees were in the $25 and up range. I thought my fish and chips (I forget the actual name of the dish) were fine, and my spouse really enjoyed the crab cake sandwich. Although I thought the portion sizes for the sandwiches and fries were fine, the serving size of the mussels seemed a bit small. However, this could have been an optical illusion because the serving bowl for the mussels was HUGE, so the amount of mussels could have appeared to be smaller than what it was. I thought the outdoor patio was great especially with a view of the water and folks going about their business. However, some may not like the setup because you are right on the main street, which can be a bit noisy especially if a lot of bikers are cruising up and down the strip. Parking was a bit of a struggle (not the fault of the restaurant). During our visit, all of the public parking lots were full. However, we visited on Mother's Day weekend so maybe there were more folks (including us ) in the area than normal. I'll admit that since this was my first time visiting the area that I'm not too familiar about the ebb and flow of parking. Overall, our server (who reminded me a bit of a young Jodie Foster) was amazing. One thing that I really appreciated was her telling us about a potential delay for the food due to a large party. Although no one wants to hear that after ordering food, I think it's nice and considerate when a server provides a heads-up so diners can adjust accordingly.

We received a phone call to confirm the reservation, the staff member who called was very rude to us. We were told there is an automatic 18% gratuity for large groups. We were also very rudely told we cannot be loud, and we cannot move tables. We called to reserve for a group of 12 and were placed at three separate tables! When we arrived and told the staff we had a reservation, we were rudely told, "It's the three tables setup outside." as if we were supposed to know that. We were not led to our tables, we were told that our waiter would be with us shortly. We waited for an incredibly long time after we ordered, someone got a side salad after about half an hour and no one else got food (even though other people also ordered salads). After 1hr15mins we finally started getting our food. Coleslaw tasted spoiled and gross - basically rotten. The chicken tenders were dry, tough, and we were only given three tenders for how expensive they were. Caesar salad was also overpriced for what it is and the dressing was not very good. Burger tasted freezer burnt. The mac and cheese would have been better if it were Kraft mac and cheese, it's like they just put shredded cheese over some old mac and cheese. Fries were bland. The Maryland crab soup just looked gross - it was barely any crab and just large chunks of vegetables. not a single food item we received tasted good. While it does not impact the food, there were many spelling errors on the menu. The chairs and tables outside were also incredibly uncomfortable - and we would know, as we were sitting on them for almost two hours. We had to get food after leaving this restaurant because the food was either not filling or so bad we didn't want to eat it. The cherry on top was when we got the check, and they added a THIRTY percent auto gratuity. 30%!!!! That's obscene, especially since we were told it would be 18% on the phone, and the food and service was barely even worthy of a 15% tip. We had to argue back and forth to get the gratuity removed. Ridiculous. After everything, it was ten minutes before they closed. The waiters started cleaning up around us - but they were the ones who took over an hour to get us food and then a million years as we argued about the 30 percent gratuity. When we did get the checks, the auto gratuity was still 20%. We just paid it because we were sick and tired of being there. Overall - horrible ambience, horrible service, horrible food. Not ever worth trying. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

I decided to try it out and will say the view is great but the food itself was lacking. Firstly, I'll talk about the place. It's an easy drive to get too, but it's a bit secluded since you have to get to the water. It has a small parking lot, but shouldn't be a problem. The place is relatively clean and well spaced out. The servers are very nice. They ask if you want to sit inside or outside in case you want a better view of the water. The food is what I was looking forward to. The table ordered the crab dip as an appetizer. It came with crackers and bread and was pretty good. But the dip was mostly filler and I didn't feel like it had enough crab in it. I ordered the Basket and had 2 crab cakes and 3 fried shrimp. The shimp was well seasoned. However, they fry it with the shell on. This means you'll be spitting out shrimp shell as you bite into it. The crab cakes were actually delicious - very flavorful and filling. We also ordered rockfish for the table. I understand it's a white fish, so when it would fall apart in my mouth I knew it was way overcooked in the fryer. Each piece would desintegrate in my mouth and only leave behind a clump of soggy batter. Overall, I don't think the food is good. If all you want to order is crab cake then this place is golden. Otherwise, maybe only come to see the nice view of the water and the bridge.
