All day everyday day during the summer and even fall I could sit out here and eat and drink and meet new people. I really wish we had known of this place the 4th of July. We didn't find it till the 5th. Alls good anyway. The food is fantastic the service is decent. They allow dogs on the patio and ours loved it.

Dear Susan, Justin and the Whole Team at Clarke's Landing, in this season of Thanksgiving, I would like to thank each of you for catering Scotty's celebration of life. I received so many compliments on the food, the presentation and service and that was all because of your careful and thoughtful efforts. Thank you from all the Roysden Family and Friends.

My party, and I arrived at the place around 1:30 in the afternoon, pretty late for a random Saturday lunch. The service was definitely executed with a big smile, the servers were cognizant of our presence, and was attentive at all times. We ordered a rockfish basket with sweet potato fries And coleslaw. Potato fries came in hot and steamy the way I liked it. The coleslaw was amazing with a creamy mayonnaise, not an overwhelmingly soggy one, the cuts of the cabbage was definitely fresh. I love the element of brussels sprouts added to the mix. Kudos to the cook. I also visited the restroom and it was definitely a clean one. A clean bathroom is a reflection of a clean kitchen that's to my standards There were ample parking spots, the view was amazing. Will I go back? Why not.

The last stop of the day before going back to my "headquarters"(my hotel in Waldorf, MD) was to have a late lunch at Stoney's Clarke's Landing, a seafood and bar dive by the Patuxent River banks. Spectacular and leisurely views of the boats while eating fresh Chesapeake Bay oysters, redfish "nuggets" and crab cakes, their specialty. I was so hungry and the food was so delicious that I almost forgot to show it properly (so all you guys get to see is a half-eaten crab cake and the yummy coleslaw that was more salad than coleslaw!) Sorry (not sorry...)

Best food and service! Our server, Quinton was A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! Very dog friendly! They even have a dog menu!

We stopped by while we were in the area to have a late lunch - we ordered: +the Seafood Cannelloni - stuffed with shrimp, crab, and ricotta in a housemade pasta, baked, and topped with a choice of cabernet marinara or Parm alfredo sauce; you can also do half and half!; this was actually a pretty okay dish, with the sauces being thick and creamy; the best part, however, as the side of garlic bread that was super garlicky and had a nice crisp to it - amazing when dipping in the sauce! The cannelloni itself was okay, but the seafood filling was a bit overcooked, making both the shrimp bits and the crab rubbery +the Crab Cake Dinner - you can choose 1 or 2 5oz crabcakes; served with a choice of 2 sides; we went for the House Salad and the Skinny Fries; the salad that was served had old/wrinkled tomatoes; just couldn't see why a restaurant would serve something like that to its patrons; we were excited for the crabcakes, but they were less than mediocre; the hot sauce that they had was not a good complement at all; fries were not seasoned at all and forgettable Service was fine, and the place is dim-lit and slightly cramped - if you're sitting at one of the tables set in an angular way, you're bound to be constantly bumped into by the passing service staff and patrons. How incredibly hidden and unexpected. This gem is right on the water and our 5 year old LOVED their fries and Mac and cheese. John made her chocolate milk in the back to accommodate us and every single piece of food we had was divine. The crab ball entree was soooo filling. I couldn't even finish the calamari (crunchy and the sauce was clearly homemade with so much love). My husband had the platter and I wish I took a photo because it's now an empty plate. When we entered, we were seated and our waitress warned us that she wasn't a server, she was a bartender so give her some leeway. We went during dinner time but the place itself was pretty vacant. We ordered our food and most of us wanted the famous crab sandwich or crab cakes, so she put in the order and left. About 10 minutes later, she explained that they ran out of stock because it was sold out due to being featured on the news. So everyone ordered something different. We ended up waiting almost an hour for mediocre food. There was one soft shell crab left so we got it and split. It was very disappointing, the crab itself was tiny, and the quality of the. seafood was poor. Nobody was able to finish what was on their plate even though we were starving from waiting so long. I would not recommend this spot, service was okay, wait time was too long, and the food was mid.

At the time it had been pretty hard to find. I decided to stop by this food truck one day when I was on the way home from work. The guy that works there is very nice and patient. I ordered the two pieces of tilapia, six jumbo shrimp, one crabcake, and it came with fries and two hush puppies. Everything was amazing and reminded me of home. All of the food was cooked crispy, and it was not soggy or floppy. Everything was seasoned perfectly, not over season or under season. And the service was quick, it might have took 10 minutes. Everything is always fresh and it never taste like seafood. If you eat a lot of seafood, then you understand what I mean, yes, it is seafood, but it is not supposed to have that fishey smell. Overall, I wish I could give this place a 10 out of 5, but I will settle for a five out of five. Also, the seasoned butter sauce that he has is great.
