Pizza was absolutely delicious. Very generous portion. Service was a little slow for food but I think they have just a couple of people running the bar. Will absolutely dome back to try more items!

Loved the spicy margherita and Manhattans, unique salads along with the meatballs and polenta. Our server was friendly and attentive and the live music was an extra treat.

This is usually a go to in the Prince Frederick area if you want good food. Last night was no exception. We sat on the hipper 'bar side' of the restaurant in a booth. The Thursday night game was in and they had the volume up to 'I can't hear you speaking volume, This is why I subtracted a star mainly. I ordered the Tomahawk Pork chop. I am sooo glad I did. This was the best pork chop I've ever had! It was thick, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The fat that is normally in the outside of the pork chop is something that I normally don't eat. NOT TONIGHT. The chef crisped the edges of the fat. When taking a bite of the edge, you got the crispy fat (almost like thin bacon) and the date when chewed melted like butter and mixed with the meat. So good. I ate the whole thing, and I'm NOT ashamed to tell you I picked up the bone and gnawed on it a little!

Dined here with my family (of 4). The restaurant had a nice appeal to it. It's pretty large with one side having booth seating and a bar and the other side had standard table seating. It was clean and the restrooms were immaculate. Our server was GREAT! She was very attentive and polite. The food was just okay. The baby kale Caesar salad was a nice portion size, but lacked flavor in the dressing. We tried the Double BBQ wings as well as the Korean BBQ wings. The Double BBQ were okay and the Korean ones were a bit salty. Also, they could have been cooked a touch longer. The best thing we had was the Spicy crab pizza. It was a hit! I would definitely recommend it. The mussels weren't bad. They had a different twist as they had meat in the sauce which was different, but not a deal breaker. We tried the chorizo sliders were delicious; they were flavorful and had a bit of spice (which I LOVE). I will revisit due to the excellent customer service and to try another pizza on the menu.

This review is for an event held tonight at Brick. The restaurant was extremely busy. They had several private parties going too, including a wedding reception, and our smaller family anniversary celebration with about 20 guests. They have several private event spaces, and the layout, with the ability to close sliding doors, really made it seem private. The food was delicious, and the servers were great. They served a bruschetta bread with topping, then a plate of crab balls for each table (really good), then ceasar salad, the entree (mine was salmon) and dessert. It all was timed nicely and everything went very smoothly.

Beets by J salad- golden beets, blood orange, local greens, goat cheese croquettes, pistachio crumble, sherry vinaigrette. DELICIOUS!

Beets by J salad: local greens, roasted golden beets, blood orange, goat cheese croquettes, pistachio crumble, Sherry vinaigrette plus I added chicken. delicious!!!

We randomly chose this restaurant when we were looking for somewhere new to go for New Year's Eve where we could also take our infant. Everyone here was very friendly. The ambiance was nice. But the best part was the food. We had the Crab Avocado Stack appetizer and the Maryland Crab pizza and both were amazing!! It was seriously the best crab we've had in this area. We're so happy we chose to eat here and will definitely be back.

We really enjoy the small plates here -- they're the perfect size and let us try more things off the menu. I do wish they would add a few more small-plate options to give us even more to choose from. I wasn't able to add any photos to this review since I've hit my 85-photo limit and need to delete older ones. Tonight my wife had the wedge salad with chicken fingers. Our guests had the fried cauliflower, chicken fingers, grilled chicken with fried potatoes. I had the chicken and biscuits. Everything was very good tonight. I do wish the wedge salad came on a slightly larger plate so it's not falling off the edge, but the flavors were excellent. As always, all the food we ordered was great. We also tried the seasonal dessert -- something similar to an apple crisp with cinnamon ice cream -- and it was delicious. I tried to post a picture, but again, I'm out of photo space. Overall, another excellent meal and great service. And as usual, it's always nice to see the owner walking around checking with us to make sure everything is okay.

It's clear they're trying to bring something different to the Waldorf area, and that's appreciated. That said, a few things kept this from being a great experience. The prices feel a bit steep for the area -- you'd expect that price point to come with a higher quality product, but the wings fell short. The wings were small and soggy, giving off major frozen-from-a-bag vibes rather than something made with care. For the cost, that's a letdown. To top it off, they ran out of wine during our visit, which is a pretty basic inventory miss for a bar and restaurant. Again, the drink menu is solid and the variety on the food menu is a plus. With some tweaks to food quality, portion value, and stock management, this place could really shine. For now, it's a "maybe next time" from me.

It's kind of a sports bar, but also has some cute/unique decorative touches which elevates the space a little. The drink menu had some great sounding cocktails, so we ordered a round of drinks to start. For food, we went with the BBQ chicken Flatbread, and 2 orders of wings. The food was good, but the drinks stole the show! Kate, was our server and bartender and she was so sweet and friendly. It was pretty busy, but she checked on us throughout and even made us some off menu drinks with no problem.

How incredibly hidden and unexpected. This gem is right on the water and our 5 year old LOVED their fries and Mac and cheese. John made her chocolate milk in the back to accommodate us and every single piece of food we had was divine. The crab ball entree was soooo filling. I couldn't even finish the calamari (crunchy and the sauce was clearly homemade with so much love). My husband had the platter and I wish I took a photo because it's now an empty plate. When we entered, we were seated and our waitress warned us that she wasn't a server, she was a bartender so give her some leeway. We went during dinner time but the place itself was pretty vacant. We ordered our food and most of us wanted the famous crab sandwich or crab cakes, so she put in the order and left. About 10 minutes later, she explained that they ran out of stock because it was sold out due to being featured on the news. So everyone ordered something different. We ended up waiting almost an hour for mediocre food. There was one soft shell crab left so we got it and split. It was very disappointing, the crab itself was tiny, and the quality of the. seafood was poor. Nobody was able to finish what was on their plate even though we were starving from waiting so long. I would not recommend this spot, service was okay, wait time was too long, and the food was mid.

At first, you'll see what looks like just a pizza shop -- but if you head in and either use the side door or walk through and climb a set of stairs, you'll find the speakeasy upstairs. Very cool vibe: dark, cozy, and date-night ready. Drinks: 4/5 I ordered their take on an Old Fashioned, and it was definitely the highlight of the night but sweeter than I would have liked. They served it over a stamped solid block of ice (a small detail I ). My friend was abstaining from alcohol that night and asked for a non-alcoholic cocktail. To our surprise, they didn't just hand her a lemonade like most places -- they actually made her a crafted virgin drink, which she loved. Food: 3/5 We ordered fries and a slice of pepperoni pizza. The fries turned out to be waffle fries (not mentioned on the menu) and were overly crispy, so not really our favorite. The pizza was fine -- clearly sourced from the shop downstairs -- but it leaned oily and didn't really wow us. Service: 5/5 Pretty standard -- nothing over the top, but not neglectful either. Drinks came out reasonably fast, food followed, and we were checked on enough without it feeling pushy. Vibes: 4/5 The speakeasy itself is definitely the selling point. Dark, intimate, and stylish -- you feel like you've found a little hidden spot. All in all, the cocktails are the reason to come, especially if you're into whiskey. The food was forgettable, but it's convenient that you can order pizza upstairs. We spent about $30-40 for drinks and snacks, which isn't shocking for Old Town. Would I go back? Maybe if I was already in the area, but for a dedicated whiskey night, I'd probably head somewhere else.

We figured it would be busy since it's an Irish pub on St. Patrick's Day, so it wasn't a big deal when it took about 10 minutes for the server to come take our drink order, and another 10 minutes to come take our food order. Then there was the wait. Since it was a busy day, I figured about 30 minutes, maybe 40, so I expected our food would be ready around 8:20-8:30; our food was not delivered to our table until 9:23... and it was a little cold, as if it had been ready for a while, but never brought out. I ate about half of mine and took the rest home. My wife only ate maybe 3-4 bites of hers. After reheating at home, the food itself was fine; I had corned beef & cabbage (yes, cliche) and my wife had fish & chips. We were given a basket of kettle chips around 8:30. The wait was long enough that my wife ordered a second beer (which she doesn't usually do); was a little disappointed that it wasn't comped because of the long wait. What made it worse was there were a few tables that were seated after us that got their food before us, including a party of 6 that finished, paid and left before our food even arrived. I'm willing to give the place a second chance on a different day. I get that St. Patrick's Day is probably a rough one for them. But if the kitchen is over an hour behind, that should probably be mentioned before any orders are taken.
