Returning after a year - I've missed this place!!! Hours have changed and prices increased slightly…read morebut prices have increased everywhere as we know- so no complaints! It's worth every penny! I always get the simple 1 lb shrimp with corn, sausage and potatoes. 28.50$ made with love! Will always stop by when I'm in Maryland!!

At the time it had been pretty hard to find. I decided to stop by this food truck one day when I was on the way home from work. The guy that works there is very nice and patient. I ordered the two pieces of tilapia, six jumbo shrimp, one crabcake, and it came with fries and two hush puppies. Everything was amazing and reminded me of home. All of the food was cooked crispy, and it was not soggy or floppy. Everything was seasoned perfectly, not over season or under season. And the service was quick, it might have took 10 minutes. Everything is always fresh and it never taste like seafood. If you eat a lot of seafood, then you understand what I mean, yes, it is seafood, but it is not supposed to have that fishey smell. Overall, I wish I could give this place a 10 out of 5, but I will settle for a five out of five. Also, the seasoned butter sauce that he has is great.

All three of us ordered Entrees in which my son had Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes and a veggie. My granddaughter had Steamed Shrimp with French Fries and I had their Fried Shrimp with French Fries and Cole Slaw. We were all amazed at the presentation of the food as well as the quality and taste. It is evident they have expert Chefs and Sous Chefs. When you walk into the entrance, you immediately see beautiful waterfront scenery. This particular day, there were hundreds of geese feeding right in front of our table. The dining area is very large and you're not sitting on top of each other. Dry large windows to see the water throughout the Restaurant. Our waitress was very accommodating from the drink order to our dinner choices. She came back several times to see if was anything we needed and for dessert. We had to pass on the dessert as we were full to the brim from our entrees. We have already decided we are going to have our family events at the Ruddy Duck as they are designed for large parties and the Food, Service and Ambiance was over the top. It's way beyond a 5 Star Restaurant!

If you're thinking about coming here for crab cakes, don't bother -- and honestly, think twice…read moreabout coming at all. My party was seated, ordered drinks and appetizers, and only when we started ordering entrées did our server, Faith, suddenly inform us there were no crab cakes due to a "crab shortage." At a seafood restaurant, that's something you tell customers immediately, not after they've already spent money. The story didn't add up. The day before, we had crab cakes at SALT Waterfront Kitchen with no issue. After leaving Ruddy Duck, we went straight back to SALT, ordered crab cakes again, and were told point‑blank that there was no shortage. So the excuse we were given at Ruddy Duck was misleading at best. The whole experience felt deceptive and disrespectful. We won't be back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone who values honesty or basic customer service.

We got there at 9:30 and the kitchen was closing at 10:00.. we had the smash burger, the atomic smash burger, clam strips, and chicken wings.. all the fried foods were amazing, including the fries that come with the clam strips. Right away, I could tell they were using fresh frying oil and everything was freshly fried.. most places double fry precooked stuff and use old oil.. to my surprise, everything was freshly made! Smash burger, they have smash burger! What? The fact that they served their signature Atomic smash burger with jalapeño, cheese, an onion ring, pulled pork or brisket, bacon, plus coleslaw?? This was amazing! The standard smash burger was just burger patties and cheese.. it was also really good. Chicken wings were like Korean fried chicken level good wings. I was a bit surprised how plump and juicy they were with really good sauce.. the waitress recommended Old Bay honey and lemon pepper, a half-and-half order that was amazing.. my daughter substituted her smash burger fries with green string beans.. wow, that was really amazing.. not some canned, mushy string beans, but rather really fresh, almost like they picked them from a local farm--buttered, salted, then fire-roasted.. are you kidding me? I wasn't even that hungry and took half of my burger home, munched it up the day after, and it was like eating an upgraded White Castle burger! Delicious.. anyway, this place is a real hidden gem.. I've had better food and service here compared to well-known restaurants across Los Angeles, New York, Baltimore, etc.... Go check them out!

It wasn't super busy when we arrived, but it still took about 10 minutes for any of the staff to acknowledge us. From there our service was fine, and the staff was nice (but not very knowledgeable). The menu was confusing; there were very few seafood options despite the name "Atomic Seafood". I tried the blackened haddock sandwich. The fish was barely seasoned and overall disappointing. We also tried the wings. The seasonings were all both bad and lacking. The Nashville dry rub wings had a coating of honey. The fries and pickle chips were okay. Overall, it was a disappointing meal and we would not go back. If you're just looking for a bar to enjoy a couple domestic beers during a football game with maybe a side of fries, this is probably a good fit for you. Buckets Bar, down the road, offers a similar atmosphere with better service, pricing, and quality of food.

Overall, the food was really good, and the water view is really nice. Great place for a meal! Side note: their cakes looked incredible, but we didn't try them this time. I would definitely consider going back for a slice of cake.
