If you freeze it I would thaw it in the fridge first then heat it on the stove. I got two pints the other day. The first was thawed and I heated it up and it tasted just like it used too in the Legal Spirits restaurant. The second I followed the directions. Ran hot water on the edges and put the frozen block on the pan to melt down. That batch tasted a little over cooked. But, anyways hands down favorite cream of crab soup. You just walk into the antique store and you can buy it by the pint ($13) and there are some bulk deals/discounts.
