Stopped by for lunch . I was just going to grab some pho and take it with me. I decided to eat there instead. I ordered the meatball pho . It was good and came with some basil and shoots. The service was friendly. The biggest negative is how filthy the restaurant is. As I looked around it got nastier and nastier. Don't touch the walls and don't dare touch the picture frames on the walls. I'm kind of sorry I ate inside. I did order chicken pad Thai and fried wontons to go. I can't complain about the food but would not want to look around the kitchen if it looks like the front of the house.

The level of hesitance as I approached a viet restaurant in Salisbury was no joke - BUT I was pleasantly surprised. I got the banh xeo which I honestly thought was going to turn out terrible but it was good! Not super crunchy but definitely still enough crunch and flavor for me to keep coming back for the banh xeo alone. It's served with Vietnamese basil and lettuce and you dip it into the fish sauce (which was also good). The pho was not too shabby either, came out piping hot as it should . I read some reviews about this place not being clean - while it's not spotless and a little old, it's FINE! The meaner the staff, the "dirtier" the restaurant - the yummier

If you are ever headed to Ocean City or its surrounding beaches. YOU MUST STOP here. I always swing by on the way to the beach to grab a quick bite. You will not find a better vietnamese restaurant in the area. It has such a huge selection to choose from. I have yet to be disappointed in anything I've tried. Fast friendly service. Spacious seating area. Delicious food. What more can you ask for?

I liked the food here but service was inconsistent and a little rude. I came here with a large group, and we called ahead to make a reservation. When we arrived, it's a seat yourself ordeal, but all of the tables had dirty dishes and trash on them. We approached the waiter, who was flustered, said they were really busy (there were like two other customers...), and told us to come back in an hour because for such a large group without a reservation, they couldn't accommodate us at that time. Note that it was also an off hour (after 2pm). *stares blankly* We. Did. Make. A. Reservation. Once we cleared that up, the waiter told us it would take him 30 minutes to clear the tables, and to come back later. *stares blankly* Fortunately, the owner came out, said she was expecting us, and started clearing the tables right away. Then the grumpy waiter came back to take our orders. I think he was having a bad day. We asked if we could do separate checks, and at first he said no - but he could do it in groups. But then we mentioned the Yelp deal, and he changed his mind and told us that ringing us up individually would be easier for him. (There's a $20 minimum for the Yelp check-in deal, so individually you really can't get the discount - this was made clear when we went to pay.) After we ordered and when he was bringing out the food, he was nicer, but towards the end of the meal, he got grumpy again. I ordered the Grilled Pork which came with a scoop of rice and some veggies (cucumbers and tomatoes, which are technically fruit). The pork was flavorful, but the portions were small. For $10, it's not a good value. There seemed to be some issues in the kitchen, because our table had missing orders. A few dishes weren't brought out until most of us were already done eating. The waiter's explanation: "Sometimes the chef doesn't feel like cooking the orders..." *stares blankly* For those that ordered the Vietnamese Iced Coffee (which was super sweet and nobody in my group liked it), the tray of drinks sat on the counter for a long time because the staff got distracted. After waiting and waiting for them to remember, someone from our group finally got up, went to the counter and grabbed the tray of drinks for self-service. Again, maybe the waiter and kitchen staff were just having an off day. But based on this experience, I wouldn't recommend this place for large groups. This might be one of the few Vietnamese offerings in Salisbury, hence it's average 4-star rating, but in DC, there's better value and better service. Some may even say better food.

For such a simple order during a non-busy time, the wait was extremely disappointing. The restaurant itself also did not leave a good impression. There was an unpleasant smell throughout the place, and overall it just felt unclean and poorly maintained. It made it hard to relax or enjoy the meal. I will say the waitress was the one positive part of the experience. She was friendly, attentive, and did her best to check on us throughout the meal, so I appreciate her effort despite everything else going wrong. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were not good at all. Even the water tasted off, which immediately raised concerns. The miso soup also had a strange taste that seemed wrong from the first bite. We ordered the Ribeye Roll and Crunch Roll, and both were extremely disappointing. The quality and taste honestly had me crossing my fingers hoping I wouldn't end up with food poisoning afterward. Overall, this was not an enjoyable experience and definitely not somewhere I would return to. Between the long wait, the condition of the restaurant, and the poor food quality, I can't recommend this place.

Because it was simply the best experience I've had with Korean food and personnel since I've started trying out this cuisine type over the past year. I was joined by my friend who ordered the bulgogi beef (which I did not get the opportunity to taste because it was so good he forgot to offer me a try) as well as a kimbap(?) as an appetizer. I tried a piece of the app and it was scrumptious. He said his entree was spicy but ok the best way. He was content with the portion, the taste, and the plating. I did warn him that most folks who come here do end up needing to bring food home. Boy, was that right. So, be kind and bring your own container(s) so you can delight in your leftovers another day. They do have takeout containers but they do not offer take out. You must dine in. So, please do keep this in mind when coming here. It makes sense because otherwise the transit time to take it offsite to eat your meal elsewhere is just not the same to get the full experience they are giving here along with their culinary expertise. The food came out fresh and with a little bit of wait. Patience may be required but it's so worth the wait. What did I have you are asking ? Well, my first ever japchae. Non-spicy option for me. The way the noodles were, I can't describe it. It's a whole fun experience on top of the goodness of the dish. The place has some modest touches to let you know what sort of cuisine they serve. There is a kimbap (?) bar area and a few tables. I imagine it can fill up quickly at lunch or dinner. I highly suggest arriving early to ensure you don't feel rushed. Definitely support this restaurant, make sure it has a longevity they deserve and continue to educate us - ok me- on the deliciousness of Korean cuisine. Of course, I took home my meal leftovers. And I enjoyed them the next day. The parking is easy and free at the Cardiff plaza.

This is what really ticked me off. I went to the front before we left and asked to speak to a manager. The girl looked and then looked over at her friend (who probably wasn't the manager) and said here she is. I told her what happened and she said "yeah sorry, we have someone coming next week and he didn't kill the mouse, he let the mouse go right outside". SERIOUSLY? That mouse is coming right back inside! This is a problem that pest control needs to come out IMMEDIATELY! I just watched a mouse get killed/caught while trying to eat! Korean food isn't naturally my first thought when going down the shore but I'm glad it's an option. My wife and I split the chicken sandwich (spicy honey soy) and corn dog (half cheese/hotdog). The chicken sandwich was a generous portion. Anytime I get "spicy" at a restaurant/fast food spot it's not spiced enough but this packed a punch. Nice balance with the sweet from the honey and the salt from the soy. It was topped off with a refreshing slaw. My only gripe was the bread. If I had to guess it was potato bread. It was super soft but dense/heavy. It was still an A+ sandwich. Came with a bag of chips and canned soda. The corndog was nothing short of amazing. That's not CrunCheese's fault, though, it's just not a style that I really found to my personal taste. So, just speaking on this location, the dogs were... okay. I had one potato hot dog and one cheddar/mozz cheese log. The potato dog was a meal in one! The potatoes on the outside are like french fry cubes, so it's like a complete combo meal in itself. I'm glad I got the ketchup and mustard on it, because it needed something to cut through the heaviness. The cheese option was more disappointing, though. The "cheddar" was more like Velveeta, or "processed cheese food." It didn't hold it's structure after being fried, so it was honestly like a mouthful of cheese sauce surrounded by fried dough. Sounds appealing, but not pleasant in practice. The mozz was fine, though! Definitely more like a traditional mozzarella stick. For two "dogs" plus one fountain drink, it was over $15. Had I known how heavy it was going to be, I would have only gotten one of the dogs. It would have been plenty. The service was good. The lone cashier (who was also the cook) was helpful and friendly. But, they could have used more staff to handle the line that quickly formed. Plus, it took a VERY long time to get the food after it was ordered. Like, 20 minutes! Overall, it was okay. I'm not in a rush to go back, and it really just didn't fit my style for a quick lunch or food court fare in general. But, if it's your jam, then go for it!
