I don't usually spend time much at franchise restaurants, but a friend wanted to meet at Panera Bread for lunch yesterday. I was good with her choice because Panera Bread serves good, freshly made food, a relaxing atmosphere, great & friendly service. Funny, but this is the 2nd time in two weeks that I've met someone there for lunch. The first time I had the Bacon Turkey Bravo sandwich, the 2nd time I had the Smokehouse BBQ chicken sandwich. Both of them were wonderfully delicious! Since I'm a bit of a finicky eater, I love the fact that I can customize my meal. Your drive through sucks!!! First of all, replace your $15 speaker... IT IS BROKEN!!! Next, why do you make EVERYONE wait EVERY TIME? You get on the speaker and tell us you will be right back EVERY TIME. Then we get you your window and the restaurant is empty. Why do we have to wait? I literally used to drive an extra mile to get your tea, but I do not any longer. Also, you need a car the size of a golf cart to get through the tiny track to your window. Can you also have an idea of what cookies you have available? Again, you put me make me wait a second time while you canvass the store to check... make your molasses cookies softer as they should be. Im going to break down this review to why I rated it 4 Stars. It is my first time EVER trying Panera Bread. I live in Hawaii and I'm here visiting my brother. I've always traveled to California and I'm always passing Panera Bread because of how BUSY it gets. This time I was able to go. YAY. 1 star: parking is amazing. I'm used to waiting at least 15 min for parking because Hawaii is SUPER busy. But this place is amazingly open! 2 star: having the option to go up to a mini kiosk to order your food is awesome. It lessens the time to wait in line. AND we can customize the options on the screen with no trouble at all. 3 star: customer service is amazing. The food is good but the drive through is a complete crap shoot. We use the drive thru about 2-3 times a month and they rarely get it completely correct. Tonight was the worst. Long wait at the cashier window (cars waiting behind us) only to be told to pull around front and wait til they bring it out. Waited there another 8 minutes and finally went in. Order was wrong. Stuff we didn't order, missing sandwich I ordered and no dressing for salads. If they can't get the orders correct it makes you wonder how the food is being prepared. read more

I just don't understand why they can't ever get the order right. We ordered a lot from GrubHub while we had Covid. Every single time we ordered without fail there was at least one item missing. Things like soup with a bread bowl and you got the bread bowl but you didn't get the soup. Ridiculous! Every time we have eaten here the food has been cold bread has been soggy nothing seems to be coming out fresh. Did not matter if I set an ate in the rest got delivery or ordered to go. read more

I absolutely love Panera. It's always clean, the servers are always friendly and helpful and it's always delicious. Their baked goods are amazing. Fresh and flavorful and the employees are very happy to help you make a choice. Muffins, bagels, pastries, breads, brownies cookies and more.. My only problem is that I like them all. You can sit inside or sit outside on the dog friendly patio and enjoy the fresh air. Soups, salads, pastas, sandwiches and every combination you can think of to make your meal exactly what you want. Sorry but due to covid they are short staffed so they closed the drive through before 7pm that sounds ridiculous this isn't the first time I've dealt with them closing the drive through I've showed up pre Covid and they closed their drive through at 8pm and when I told them they don't close till 9pm so they should still have the drive through open the person over the speaker was rude so idk if I'll ever go there again. read more

As I walked into Panera Bread, I noticed an array of different things: the music, the atmosphere, the smell, and their menu. It was also made aware to me, the type of people that are in the restaurant and why they like to eat there so often. Panera Bread is a delightful place for business workers, students, and families to sit down and grab a bite to eat because of the relaxing atmosphere and being able to get work done. The restaurant plays a variety of different types of music to attract and accommodate all different types of customers. They play classical music, rock music, and even some R&B music. As customers walk in, they seem very intrigued with the songs being played. The perfect volume level makes the music even better. It is loud enough to hear the songs, as well as quiet enough to have a normal conversation with each other. The customers can work on their homework if they are busy with school or even have a business meeting while enjoying their lunch because of the great volume and accommodating music. Panera Bread's choice of music is perfect for all customers to enjoy and relax. Panera Bread's atmosphere is very calming. The staff is always making sure their customers are comfortable and have everything they may want or need. With that being said, the staff is not in the customers face or business, bothering them while they enjoy their meal or coffee. The employees at the restaurant handle any type of issue very well and professionally. The customers are very polite to each other and keep to themselves. It is a quiet place to enjoy a meal with your family or work on homework. As I walked into the restaurant, the smell took me away. It smelled like someone just brewed a fresh pot of coffee. Coffee to me is very calming because it is a type of drink that makes me feel happy and awake. I could smell the freshly baked bread and the cleanliness of the space. Walking into a restaurant and smelling fresh food is always a good sign that it is a great place to eat. The food was wonderful. Panera Bread's coffee was made perfectly, and I had the option to add different types of creamer, milk, and sugar. Panera Bread also has an amazing menu. They have different types of pasta, sandwiches, and salads. There is something for everyone in the family to eat. The customers are always offered a side of bread or chips with every meal that is ordered. Since their bread is made fresh every morning, that is what I like to get as my side. It also makes the sandwiches taste even better. Their pasta and sauce have the perfect texture. If the pasta or sandwich ordered is supposed to be hot, it is hot. If they are supposed to be cold, they are cold. They serve their food at the perfect temperature. The type of people that choose to eat at Panera Bread is always very polite. Most of the customers are people who want to get away from their home in order to get some school work done. They will have their computers and school books with them while they grab a quick meal or coffee. There are also people who meet up with their business associates at Panera Bread. It is a good place to have business related conversations, without feeling uneasy or uncomfortable. I have seen sports groups go into Panera Bread to have a meal after a big game as well. ok, recently moved back to Prescott from Flagstaff. My friend took me to lunch at Panera and I didn't know what to expect. I absolutely loved it. The service was amazing and trust me, I had a lot of questions and a very hard time making up my mind on what to order. They were happy to help me and offer suggestions and even a free taste test of the tea I was wondering about. It was clean and bright inside and its not loud inside or on the patio! I have been to so many local places recently where the acoustics are so bad that you cant hear the people at your own table. Here we had a leisurely lunch and we could talk softly and it was a nice change from the places that you have to yell. We had soups and salads and pastries and we loved everything. The food was fantastic, but the woman who took our order, Jenny, messed up big time. The first time she didn't even take my order, she just took my friends and ignored me. Then, when we realized she hadn't charged us, we went back to correct her and she told us we "hadn't even ordered it" but we would get it for free. After 10 minutes, Jenny came back and told us we had to pay for the meal we had already been told was free. Peeved and hangry, we simply paid and waited. After 10 more minutes, my friend went to check on my order (I'm disabled so it's difficult for me to get around) and she had no idea where the food even was, but a server helped us out. read more

Was waiting to give this place a try. I have read other reviews and was quite surprised that my meal and service was quite enjoyable. I was a party of one and seating was great. There was seating at the window with a long bar height table top. Also included were outlets Incase you needed to plug in. Great view. First I think it is important to note that this is a chain, and that is what you should expect. They are quick, and rapid pick up is my favorite thing because I work close by. I also enjoy the random rewards. Not many places send you "free" items just for being on the mailing list. When I first moved here I went to Panera bread for the first time and absolutely loved it. My experiences after that first visit have been downhill since. Today marked the worst visit I have ever had. Not only did the team member on the drive thru treat me rudely he was very short and I wish I had gotten his name. He kept cutting me off while ordering and asking question then immediately saying "hello? Are you there" not even giving me a chance to respond! I ordered my favorite chipotle chicken sandwich and an extra side of chicken. I paid $1.38 for the Extra side of chicken and what they gave me was barely anything? Very disappointing, will not be returning based on service, food quality, and prices. read more

I visit Panera every few months. Seem the prices are getting higher and quality goes down. Three of us went there today and we all had pick 2's with drinks. The bill was $45. For lunch that is ridiculous. Plus I had the Cuban sandwich which smelled bad and had to send it back. They did fix the problem with a grilled cheese. With this cost I will definitely consider going somewhere else for lunch in the future. read more

This is the first time we use a kiosk at a restaurant. We did the order on there aijxe there was quite a line. We were glad since the children got to have a better look at some good choices. Husband's Chicken Salad Sandwhich was tasty and a great combination with the tomatoes- he usually does not eat tomatoes in his food so says something. The Chicken Salad itself was just creamy enough. The weird part qas our order was messed up even though we saw exactly what we ordered. It did not seem the staff knew how to view that information as they had to ask us what was missing and got it wrong again. The food definitely makes up for it. It is also fair to say it seemed that many employees were training. ALL the bread for our 4 choices were tasty- in had a French roll, hubby's bread was a marble rye, other was a very delicious French Bagel And the brioche breakfast sandwich...All Great! read more

Five prior visits were good. This visit Panera provided a Turkey Cranberry Flatbread with 2 tiny pieces of turkey. The flatbread was all you could see from the open sides, No turkey or spinach or cranberries could be seen until the flatbread was opened. Came with a baguette that was very cold and wet. I was on my lunch hour 9/28/1712:01pm and the supervisor appeared to be too busy giving an orientation to what appeared to be a couple of new employees. I decided to eat what little was provided and return to my job. Lesson learned and now I will only be going to the consistent product at Wildflower Bread Company where they always provide an appealing plate, and have managers roaming the room to insure customers are content. read more

I hate leaving bad reviews, I really do. What in the actual @#$% did I get for lunch today? I treated my boss and manager today for lunch. They wanted the tomato bacon grilled cheese with bacon mac and cheese. I was so embarrassed with what they had delivered. I always brag about the quality of food. Today was a big disappointment. Whatever spread they put on the bread was only put in the dead center and very little. I ordered the Cuban panini and it was horrible!!! The pulled pork tasted old, no seasoning and tasted like it was made in the microwave. The pickles tasted better. Very disappointed today. Only good thing is your delivery drivers are super friendly. I followed the original instructions provided by the cashier, and with most customers getting refill drinks without masks, I assumed that guidance was accurate.
