They have a large inside eating area but also a beautiful patio and the weather was perfect! I had the prickly pear cider, which was dry but crisp. They let my friend sample multiple wines before picking, which I thought was great choice and the pours were generous. They only have beer and wine from what I saw but a large selection! For dinner my grandpa had the beet salad which he really enjoyed but heavy on the dressing. My grandma had the chicken wrap, also delicious and enough for two meals! My friend and I shared the mahi mahi tacos and a chicken quesadilla. The portion was perfect. The tacos were phenomenal, some of the best I've had. The quesadilla was also huge with good salsa. Only one person manning the registers, so we waiting in life for quite a while, totally understandable, things happen and we don't mind waiting around, especially because we were very excited to try this place! She felt rude when she said to us as well, but that's just our opinion. I ordered with the "cauli-rizo" which greatly enhanced the burrito for me; partner was equally happy without it. The fruit was fresh vs. frozen, an additional nice touch. Order at the counter, food is delivered and bussed. You get a decent sized coffee cup which you fill at a beverage station, greatly appreciate that you never sit waiting for a refill. This establishment was in the heart of Prescott old town. It was amazing finding a place with vegan options, I only wish I came for breakfast because they had some things I'd liked to try. I think it's interesting when restaurants cut off certain foods at certain times, I always wish the menus were firm beginning day to end. My boyfriend loved his pulled pork sandwich and tatter tots. The nachos were not bad but I think the cheese sauce wasn't what I expected. Usually I get the vegan cheddar or pepper jack cheese on it and add vegan chicken. Need to get to work but stopped in finding this spot by a drive by. The streets were blocked off this Sunday morning for his knows what the highway dept is conjuring up.... and noticed the organic cafe sign as I drove down random downtown streets trying to u turn my way around. And here I am at this gorgeous coffee breakfast place that even had a rooftop seating area! Beautiful artwork adorn the walls in this vintage restored wooden decor. However this time for a picnic in the park with friends we went and got the Ruben sandwich which our friend raved about saying it was the best ever. Taste wise yes it was a great tasting sandwich but for $20 we got a small amount of pastrami that was less than an inch high and it didn't even cover the whole bread. We only got a small handful of sweet potato fries. We thought it would be substantial to split at $20 like you'd get at a deli. It was very disappointing. My husband said he barely had any pastrami on his half. For $20 I feel like we got ripped off. Raven however got the good end of the deal as we probably financed the next 3-4 sandwiches for them. Shame on the scrimping! Our friends same sandwich was definitely supplied with ample meat. She ended up Giving half away to another friend while we were left scouring our friends leftover pizza. I have been here many times in the past, but that was at least 10 years ago. It still appears to be popular, but when we ordered lunch, we had to wait 30-40 minutes, in addition to multiple trips to the kitchen to ask what is going on. Food was overcooked, uninspired and bland. I see the positive reviews, but I know there are better and more importantly, CONSISTENT places in the area. The wings arrived promptly, and he finished eating, but after about 15 minutes--and even after checking in with the waitress--the hot chocolate still hadn't been brought out. I watched the staff member at the bar standing around talking for quite a while, so I eventually went up to ask about the drink. He responded that he was busy and had "just gotten to it," without any apology or acknowledgement of the delay. Overall, the service was dismissive and not attentive. This review is for the Reuben sandwich. $20. This is by far the worst Reuben I have ever had and even worse than prescott junction restaurant. It was a regular sized bread slice slice of marble rye like wonder bread size. Toasted in a toaster and not grilled, ie no oils. The meat was chopped and so was the sauerkraut. It didn't matter because there was no flavor in any of it. Total thickness of the two was about 1/2". In fact, tasted just like grilled cabbage. So much for homemade sourkraut! Dressing was non descript and very little of it. But the cheese was really bad. This was not real swiss cheese. I think it was a slice of American processed Swiss cheese. It just melted. The overall menu has been minimized perhaps for cost saving and easier serving, resulting in low quality, poor tasting offerings. Serving time from order is very slow. Pretty fun with its beer bar and wooden floor brings in a touch of the old west. My egg sandwich was simple but outstanding. The people that work here are great and will help you out. The restaurant (and the crowd) were somewhat eclectic and fun! Kind of a college town atmosphere but with patrons spanning a large age range. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the trivia, and most definitely the food. In particular, we shared a bowl of curry chicken soup as an appetizer and it was superb! Also, our server was great! I was in Prescott over the weekend working. I met up with a family member also staying in town for the month of June. She recommended we try out Raven Cafe for breakfast on Saturday. I am so glad she did! This cafe is located in the downtown Prescott area near the main square & whiskey row but off to the side, down Cortez. As I walked by I noticed how cool the exterior of the building is. I like the old brick and wood. Since this place is not on Gurley St itself I think it's tucked away enough and you have to be looking for it. There was no line and it was a very relaxed atmosphere for a Saturday morning. We ordered at the counter from very friendly staff and decided to check out the upstairs patio since I wanted to be outside in the cooler temps. After all, if when leaving the valley to beat the heat, it's awesome when it's at least 20 degrees cooler! I ordered the breakfast sandwich and my aunt had the huevos rancheros. Both meals were delicious and nice size portions. Usually I would have ordered a coffee since they are a cafe and I love coffee, but I am cutting back on it temporarily for the moment. And they also have wine and beer but same, I'm on a break for my liver ;) This place was so good I went again on Sunday for brunch with my coworkers. We sat on the rooftop patio and this time I had the breakfast burger. So good!! 2 days in a row and both times I experienced friendly staff, quick service, no lines or waits (which I appreciate) and a really great place to eat and chat for a while.
