My wife and I were in line to order at 10:45. Only one person manning the registers, so we waiting in life for quite a while, totally understandable, things happen and we don't mind waiting around, especially because we were very excited to try this place! When we finally get up to the register, we tried to order breakfast at 11:02 and the cashier sharply told us we just stopped serving breakfast at 11:00. She felt rude when she said to us as well, but that's just our opinion. I understand swapping the menu over at a certain time and gearing the kitchen towards a lunch focused menu, but we were in line WELL BEFORE 11 am, and the person in front of the person in front of us, ordered breakfast! I'm usually not someone to write a review on anything, much less a negative one, but I feel like a little understanding would've been appropriate. We came here for an early dinner/happy hour and it was amazing. You order at the bar and they bring you the food. They have a large inside eating area but also a beautiful patio and the weather was perfect! I had the prickly pear cider, which was dry but crisp. They let my friend sample multiple wines before picking, which I thought was great choice and the pours were generous. They only have beer and wine from what I saw but a large selection! For dinner my grandpa had the beet salad which he really enjoyed but heavy on the dressing. My grandma had the chicken wrap, also delicious and enough for two meals! My friend and I shared the mahi mahi tacos and a chicken quesadilla. The portion was perfect. The tacos were phenomenal, some of the best I've had. The quesadilla was also huge with good salsa. We had brunch at the Raven cafe, my family ordered the biscuits n gravy which was a perfect size. Two whole biscuits that were cut in half so four pieces total. The gravy was flavorful with lots of sausage. We also ordered the traditional breakfast which had a good variety of items on it. Again it was very good. And finally my daughter who is celiac ordered the burger in a lettuce wrap with fresh fruit. I tried all the dishes are as pleasantly surprised with the wonderful flavors of everything. Rooftop space is incredible ! A nice view of Thumb Butte & spacious enough to enjoy the surrounding & landscape. It was a surprised & nice treat to dine during the rain on rooftop space. The draft beer selection is also nice... many options to choose, and wines. Food is good for my taste, Hawaiian Burger . What a great combo ! Staff is super friendly. Rooftop is open at 4 pm, but it's allowed to order food from downstairs to dine at rooftop -- food will be delivered. I love this place! Really cute spot in downtown Prescott. You order at the counter and the deliver it to you. They downstairs is eclectic and they also have a nice partially covered upstairs patio. They have a huge variety of wine and beers and a good sized menu. I had a nice glass of rose and the lemon chicken wrap with a side salad. Great selection of vegetarian items for breakfast. We both had the veggie burrito which came with potatoes or fruit. I ordered with the "cauli-rizo" which greatly enhanced the burrito for me; partner was equally happy without it. The fruit was fresh vs. frozen, an additional nice touch. Order at the counter, food is delivered and bussed. You get a decent sized coffee cup which you fill at a beverage station, greatly appreciate that you never sit waiting for a refill. The hot coffee far better than your standard lukewarm diner brew. The Raven plays music in the evening (which unfortunately we missed) and has a happy hour/bar vibe. This establishment was in the heart of Prescott old town. It was amazing finding a place with vegan options, I only wish I came for breakfast because they had some things I'd liked to try. I think it's interesting when restaurants cut off certain foods at certain times, I always wish the menus were firm beginning day to end. My boyfriend loved his pulled pork sandwich and tatter tots. The nachos were not bad but I think the cheese sauce wasn't what I expected. Usually I get the vegan cheddar or pepper jack cheese on it and add vegan chicken. Boyfriend and I loved the vibe of the restaurant, the photography on display was a nice touch as well as the unique paintings throughout. The streets were blocked off this Sunday morning for his knows what the highway dept is conjuring up.... and noticed the organic cafe sign as I drove down random downtown streets trying to u turn my way around. And here I am at this gorgeous coffee breakfast place that even had a rooftop seating area! Beautiful artwork adorn the walls in this vintage restored wooden decor. I'm sitting under the table and it kind of has a haunted house feel. But I likes it! Me and the ghosts are enjoying a coffee to start our spooky day. Historic Prescott has so many gems. They y also serve wine and beer here and have an extensive selection of both. It's so quaint and cozy, it didn't feel right taking photos but it's super neat inside. Rustic and historic and seems to hold a lot of people with the stairs and different levels. The baristas are sweet and stay busy brewing up various coffees. The gentleman that was at the cash register.. I forget his name unfortunately but he was so kind. He knew we were in a rush cuz we had to be somewhere at 6:00 and though we waited patiently for our food, he checked on the order for us real quick even though there was a line. Truly appreciated that. The nachos were so yummy, and did have a kick to them. Loved it, and loved that it didn't feel so "heavy" like most nachos. It had fresh salsa, and guacamole and olives which was a surprisingly yummy topping. The ambience was nice, lots of little lights cuz of Christmas decor that's still up. It still appears to be popular, but when we ordered lunch, we had to wait 30-40 minutes, in addition to multiple trips to the kitchen to ask what is going on. This review is for the Reuben sandwich. $20. This is by far the worst Reuben I have ever had and even worse than prescott junction restaurant. It was a regular sized bread slice slice of marble rye like wonder bread size. Toasted in a toaster and not grilled, ie no oils. The meat was chopped and so was the sauerkraut. It didn't matter because there was no flavor in any of it. Total thickness of the two was about 1/2". In fact, tasted just like grilled cabbage. So much for homemade sourkraut! Dressing was non descript and very little of it. But the cheese was really bad. This was not real swiss cheese. I think it was a slice of American processed Swiss cheese. It just melted. No texture at all. . I have had decent meals in the past but this was just unpleasant. I left feeling kind of empty and not satisfied. I will be wary of eating here in the future. read more

Pass on this place and choose somewhere that values customer service. I ordered a hot chocolate and wings for my son. The wings arrived promptly, and he finished eating, but after about 15 minutes--and even after checking in with the waitress--the hot chocolate still hadn't been brought out. I watched the staff member at the bar standing around talking for quite a while, so I eventually went up to ask about the drink. He responded that he was busy and had "just gotten to it," without any apology or acknowledgement of the delay. Overall, the service was dismissive and not attentive. So sad, This is our go to restaurant every time we go to Prescott. However this time for a picnic in the park with friends we went and got the Ruben sandwich which our friend raved about saying it was the best ever. Taste wise yes it was a great tasting sandwich but for $20 we got a small amount of pastrami that was less than an inch high and it didn't even cover the whole bread. We only got a small handful of sweet potato fries. We thought it would be substantial to split at $20 like you'd get at a deli. It was very disappointing. My husband said he barely had any pastrami on his half. For $20 I feel like we got ripped off. Raven however got the good end of the deal as we probably financed the next 3-4 sandwiches for them. Shame on the scrimping! Our friends same sandwich was definitely supplied with ample meat. She ended up Giving half away to another friend while we were left scouring our friends leftover pizza. This was a really good burger - the atmosphere was weird, they were playing some trivia game with a DJ. Kinda distracting and not good for private conversations. Will give it another try and get something different next time. As a local, the Raven has lost its appeal. The happy hour offerings are minimal and ingredients simply lacking. The overall menu has been minimized perhaps for cost saving and easier serving, resulting in low quality, poor tasting offerings. Serving time from order is very slow. While the space is unique and comfortable, that in no way makes up for the disappointing food quality. We've been with the Raven since the beginning. We're out for now, hoping owner takes note and brings quality back. read more
