Located in a small strip center, this restaurant was a convenient spot to stop as we left to return home. I had the Pozole and my husband had the pancake combo (eggs, sausage and bacon). The waitress was friendly and prompt. The pozole had pork with a red broth. Both my husband and I enjoyed our food. A regular guest nearby shared the pozole is always good and also recommended trying the chilaquiles. I will definitely stop by next time I'm out that way. read more

Food was tasty, well seasoned. Eggs were cooked to order. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive. House potatoes were moist and ample. The space is tiny and no frills but tidy and clean. It didn't appear that any ingredients were made in house (e.g. salsa, tortillas, corned beef) but they did a nice job of assembling packaged foods. I was a bit skeptical about this place being a tiny tiny diner. Wow, I was so glad we went there! It is a family owned/operated breakfast/lunch place and our meals were fantastic!!! I had a bacon/cheese/jalapeno omelette with homemade salsa and fried potatoes. Best I've had in this area. Wife had breakfast tacos and loved them as well. While I miss the Greek restaurant that was there before, Maggie's Kitchen is a great replacement. When you walk in you are greeted by the friendly owner. They did a great job utilizing the small space. Very clean and friendly interior. The menu has a great selection of items, I have added pictures of the menu. I had the breakfast tacos. They were very tasty, a nice blend of flavors and the salsa and guacamole make it even better. I chose the hash browns and they were perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. My husband had the ham steak with the breakfast potatoes and said they were very good. He also said the coffee was delicious. Good to see a new restaurant open in PV serving an authentic Mexican breakfast. Ordered the breakfast tacos with breakfast potatoes. You get 3 street tacos with eggs, chopped ham, sausage and cheese. Sides of salsa, sour cream and Guac. The potaoes are home cooked with slices of red and green bell peper and onions. This isn't something from a bag, it's real food. Maggie's is fairly new to the area and decided to go and check them out. The restaurant is small only about eight tables but was very clean and organized. The waitress asked us right away what we wanted to drink and handed the menus to us. The menu has not only your standard American fare but also Mexican food. I had the huevos rancheros breakfast and my companion had the waffle combo breakfast. Everything was cooked to perfection and was good. The service was excellent with the waitress making sure we always had a full cup of coffee and asking if we needed anything else. I will definitely be back. read more

We had breakfast here this morning and due to the weather we're able to get a table right away! The restaurant is small, but very clean and charming. Our server "Iris" is a very friendly and attentive server and her mother/owner is a great cook who accommodated my plant based preferences. She even came to our table to ensure that we were satisfied ...and boy, was I! The chilaquiles normally has eggs and cheese etc. which my husband ordered and loved. She made me the chilaquiles with veggies instead of the eggs and dairy and it was delicious! The coffee was good and the prices are reasonable for the current economy. We will definitely come back! The size of the restaurant makes getting a table the most challenging part of dining, but well worth the wait if you go when it's busy. Maggie the owner was our waitress. She did a great job, and is a very friendly person. We noticed that there were a lot of people coming in to eat.
