Cash Only! Should be posted on door of entry. Is Not! Waitress should have told us at the time we placed our order. Did Not! When I laid my credit card down waitress took it. She returned to tell me cash only or check. We've already eaten. What if I didn't have a debit card? What if I only had a credit card. I do like their waffles. The food is good and the service is fast. It's a bit loud in the restaurant as it was pretty busy - To be expected.

Cute little cafe in Prescott Valley. Got the morning special with 1/2 waffle, eggs and bacon. Waffle was good with fresh blueberries on top, eggs were scrambled perfectly and bacon cooked well. Very attentive service, refilled our coffee without having to ask. Prices a little higher than some, but it is a small locally run restaurant, not a chain. Was visiting Prescott for the dog show and stopped by for breakfast. Service was fast and food came out even faster. I sat outside with my dogs and received good service. The food was tasty and the coffee hot. They have an extensive menu and a lower priced (about $7.99) option. I ordered off of that and it was plenty of food. So many delicious things! This looks like a place the locals go and the locals always know what's good! I had a grilled breakfast sandwich, which came with my choice of meat, cheese, and bread. Took my Aunt, who lives in Paulden, AZ (near Prescott), out for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Jamie's Waffle House was 23 miles away. But when you live in Paulden, AZ you don't get a lot of local choices. We arrived and were promptly seated. Unfortunately, the only seating was a small (and it's small!) two seated table. We were quickly provided with Coffee and our order was placed. I ordered a Waffle Express which was a plain waffle with bacon and 2 eggs, my Aunt ordered a plain waffle. The order came quickly and the waffles were nice and fluffy. Add some butter and maple syrup and it's all good. Service and food were excellent. Would recommend. read more

My son and I had breakfast at Jamie's. I read some of the reviews and it sounded good. The place is no frills and a little depressing. The coffee was not very good, I could only take a small sip. The servings were big, but lacked flavor. They have hot sauce and salsa to cover things up. I didn't realize that it was a Mexican restaurant as I didn't read that in any of the reviews. Had truck trouble and just needed a good breakfast to wait out the news. What a nice surprise. Clean, efficient, fast, solid service, tasty and reasonably priced. It doesn't get much better than that. And my oh my if you're a fan of a Bone in Ham Steak you've found Nirvana. Take a look at the pics. It said "Huge" on the menu but it was hard to anticipate just how big it is. Monsterous would be more appropo. Lastly if you're a coffee drinker like my wife you'll never see half full.
