We had THE MOST AMAZING experience at Lynx Lake Cafe!! Our server was Kimberly and she was the best. We sat outside because we had our dog and she offered him water and treats. The michelaea was the best I've ever had and the food was delicious! I can't wait to visit again when I'm in the area.

The food is really incredible! The wait time may be long (1 hr 15 minutes last time) because last two times there was only one chef and one waiter ... but you are in nature with a gorgeous view of the lake! Our hat off to the waiter ...he was swamped, overloaded with all the tables and took quite some yelling from the chef for not picking up the food fast enough , BUT he never lost his cool, never stopped smiling, remained very pleasant AND dropped everything to help an elderly couple to their car! We gave him a big tip and will be back!! Ps: Kimberley was amazing the time before! Missed her!

Links Lake Café review Well, my husband and I are in Prescott for the month of July. We are trying several Restaurants while here! This one was referred to us by our friends as having yummy food and a great view! First, they were correct the view is outstanding. It's a beautiful lake. It'll be a luck of the draw to get a window seat though as there are only a few. But don't fret, you can still go outside and enjoy the view from outside. And it's still visible from other seats. We decided to come for breakfast. My husband got a regular combo breakfast, and I had the Brekki bowl. Both items were great! The only disappointment in the food was we thought we saw photos of delicious fried potatoes. But instead, they served us tater tots! Not good. They really made my bowl mushy. Husband didn't even touch his. (not a dealbreaker, I would just order something besides them next time now that we know). I would say the menu they had was quite reduced than the ones previously posted on-line on Yelp. Now there's the issue of our Server. This gentleman was so non-interested in friendliness, conversation, nothing. He made zero niceties, never came back and asked us how our meal was. He showed up when it was obvious we were finished eating and asked if we needed anything else. We said no. Well...not now J - we are finished eating (I certainly would have imbibed in a second mimosa!) lol So then he set our bill down on our table and walked away. Not so much as a thank you or goodbye!! When he sat us at our table, I thanked him. When he finished taking our order I thanked him. When he dropped off our order, I thanked him. (my husband told me to stop thanking him) I've never had someone be so rude to me that I tried to be nice and appreciative to. I mean, everyone has a bad day, but this was beyond. My husband and I noticed the other two female servers who were laughing and chatting with their customers. We had server-envy that we weren't being served by one of them!! All this said, we will be going back in the next few weeks! However, I will make SURE we have a different server experience! If it weren't for the poor service, we would've given five stars, even though we didn't care for tater tots.

Lots of outdoor seating, park bench style. A handful of tables under the awning for times of weather. Great spot to go with the dog prior or after a walk around the lake! It's very hit or miss, call ahead as it can end up being closed due to being short staffed. When it's good it's great, and when it's not it's usually due to it being overcrowded or short staffed and crazy long wait times.

I already left a review but gladly add another one. If I could give it minus stars I would. Food was ok, waitress was nice. Owner terrible (Stephanie I think). Beware they charge to split a meal.. ok fine but they don't tell you there is no sharing food at all or they will charge you. My friend wanted to try my sandwich to see if she would like it and the owner came over and said no sharing food! If I am paying for the meal is it not mine? We had 7 people and a 230 dollar bill.. to tell us we can share food was ridiculous!!! We will not be back and my friend who lives in Prescott will not as well.. she plans to share her thoughts with all her neighbors.. bad customer services spreads!

My husband and I stopped in around 4:30 pm for an early dinner. We were the 2nd people to be seated at that point, so it really wasn't busy yet. We sat near the window facing the lake, which was beautiful. I ordered the Jagerschnitzel and he had the fried fish special... basically all you could eat fish. Both dishes were cooked well. The schnitzel was moist and lightly breaded, with a nice textured cream sauce. The fish was flaky, moist, and lightly breaded also. The curly fries were delicious, but how could you go wrong with fries?! The only thing that was a bummer was both dishes were very under seasoned and lacked flavor. However our server was attentive, friendly, and helpful when describing the dishes.

10/31/24. Lynx Lake 1. Toasted marble rye. Possibly Chompies bread. 2. Thousand island with taste. 3. Sauerkraut with a strong taste and drained. Possibly even grilled. But not a fresh kraut. It was dry enough to keep the taste without making the sandwich a soggy mess. 4. Thin sliced corned beef. Pre packaged but of good quality. Should have had more meat. 5. Swiss cheese thick enough to hold up to the sandwich ingredients with a strong texture. All in all a very good Reuben sandwich. The bread remained crunchy/toasty through the meal. Never turned soggy. The ingredients were in a good proportion but it could have had more meat to it. This is definitely not ad thick as your Jewish deli Reuben. I'll put this as one of the top five in the Prescott area. It came with a side of coleslaw. Freshly chopped cabbage not sliced with a very good dressing. Possibly canned but there are some good homemade dressings around. The whole place is a restaurant/bar takeout. And only open on certain days but well worth the wait. If lucky you can get a view of the lake and spring summer the humming birds. They are a bit slow on getting the food out. Expect a wait but well worth it.

    Does this place still exist?

Yes it is still open. But, it is not at all as good as it was before the new ownership. It used to be very special and a place to go for nice treats. Now it is nothing better than Denny's. The staff is very rude, the place is very noisy, and the… Read more

We found it's better to make a reservation if you want a table or if it's a night where there is something going on at the Elks, which will mean they will likely be busy. I had the halibut which was perfectly cooked. I asked for the sauce on the side, which I always do, and they complied. I found the taste of the sauce to be very good, but it was really gloppy -- not what I'd consider a sauce, so I was happy it wasn't on my fish. But that was a not enough to make a difference in how I rated the meal; just perhaps something for the Chef to consider. We were a group of four and everybody's food was excellent. It's kind of our go-to place when we're going to go to an event at the Elks because it's so convenient. FYI -- Our Elks event started at 7 PM, and our reservation was at 5:30 PM, and we finished with about 10 minutes to walk over across the street and get seated. A reservation any later than 5:30 PM would not have allowed enough time for us to comfortably eat and get to our 7 PM event. We also did inform our server right away that we had an Elks event.

The delivery was delayed and we received a message from the driver saying he was waiting for the food. Around 8 pm I heard our gate open, someone walk in our yard, approach our door and leave. I assumed it was our delivery, so I went out to retrieve the food. There was no food, but I heard a car idling. I went back in to talk to my boyfriend about the delivery, and he went outside to talk to the driver after he saw the video footage from our door cam of the driver walking in and then out of our gate with our food. Upon exiting our gate my boyfriend encountered a large black truck blocking our driveway. He gestured to the woman sitting in the passenger's seat that this is the correct house for delivery. She ignored him so he called me to talk with her. I approached the truck, mere feet from my gate that has our address plastered on and asked the woman if she was here for delivery. She did not speak to me and simply gestured "I don't know" with her arms raised up. I was super confused about what was going on at this point. Suddenly, as I am still standing in my walkway, in front of my gate that has my address on it, looking around confused wondering where the food is and why this truck is here if it's not for food delivery, a man started walking very rapidly towards me from down the street hollering "Mind your own business, lady" and "Step back, lady" over and over and over again, gesturing aggressively at me. I attempted to interrupt his tirade to ask, "are you here for food delivery?" Finally, he stopped hollering at me and said "Yeah, it's all done" as my boyfriend stepped out through the gate asking the same questions. I was still confused as we still did not have any food. The delivery driver finally informed us, "yeah, it's at the front door." My boyfriend then confirmed again with the driver that he did deliver our food to another door. I then said to the delivery driver, "See, it is my business." The delivery driver replied, "Right back at ya" and smirked. Very weird, strange encounter. The female passenger seemed oblivious as to what was going on, and the man appeared to be under the influence of something based on his aggressiveness. He was extremely rude, unprofessional, threatening and dismissive. This driver is an individual who should NOT be involved in customer service. After that experience I had bad taste in my mouth and was no longer hungry. My boyfriend informed me the calzone was good but only ate half. He tried my pizza and said it was bad. We threw the rest away.
