    The John Wayne.

Service was prompt and friendly. All the staff were engaging and positive. The food is good. Serving size is big. I'll be skipping lunch. I love the location right in the heart of downtown. This place is truly worlds above the old Lone Star Cafe that was in this space. Similar in the cowboy/western decor only. I had the John Wayne(pork chili verde and eggs). I would recommend it. Lots of other tasty looking things in the menu so i'll certainly be back.

We have been driving by this place seeing large crowds of people outside for sometime now, so this past weekend it was cold and rainy so we decided this would be a good chance to go without the crowds. Super cute place really love the decor and the staff are super friendly, but I'm afraid the food really wasn't that good. First off, everything kind of tasted like apple cider vinegar. It's like they washed the dishes in vinegar or something. The corn beef hash was really corn beef lunchmeat they chopped up with some mashed potatoes and other ingredients, it also tasted like apple cider vinegar. Someone at our table got biscuits and gravy and the biscuits were actually more like dumplings. They really weren't baked and they were like little blobs of dough about the size of small meatballs. The gravy was flat, and lacked flavor. I really wanted to like this place. The staff was so friendly and upbeat, the decor is so cute, and I also really liked the creativity in the menu making references to cowboy movies, but gosh, they really need to make a change in the kitchen.

Birria tacos. Rec by server. Grease bombs. One bite and no more! When server finally returned and asked if we were finished, no question as to why we were throwing away our entire meal. There are many places to eat in Prescott. We won't return.

I wish I lived closer to this restaurant! Creative southwest menu, terrific service and perfect execution. Nice western vibe. Some confusion about the name/signage but just go to Lone Spur sign.

Came here for breakfast. Friendly service, good food, and generous portions. I recommend the biscuits and gravy. Definitely homemade.

We ordered take out from here because even though we are visiting in town we are both working…read moretoday. The menu caught our eye. We had a variety of plates. I had the carnitas hash - full of carnitas, potatoes and tons of flavor! The green chili was not hot but the flavor was so delicious. We also had the steak and eggs, the steak was prepared a perfect medium surprising for take out. Then we ordered a side of biscuits and gravy and the pistachio pancakes - both excellent choices! Everything was so flavorful! Where the pain points come in - the parking. Now even though I went to pick up a call ahead order I didn't expect to not be able to find parking to go in and grab my order. The restaurant is next door to a few business that make it very clear "NO RESTAURANT PARKING!!" So I did call the restaurant to let them know I couldn't find parking and the person I talked to said they would just bring my order out and take care of the bill outside. I figured it was able to be rung up outside so I told her fine and waited...and waited...then someone came out of the restaurant to leave. I backed up so they could get out of the parking lot but the space was too tiny for my large truck, so I continued to wait. After a while, I just took the chance parked behind all the other cars to run in and grab my food. That's probably the only issue I had. Overall Parking is horrible, but they did seem pretty busy. The food more than made up for it! If coming here I would say pack some patience for parking or take a Uber. Ambiance, diner type vibe. Pretty standard for Prescott.
