Very friendly service. We were welcomed and seated almost immediately. The place is nicely lit, with just enough illumination to read a menu, but no glaring lights that sterilize the ambience. We tried the crab dip appetizer and the pickled eggs. The pickled eggs were wonderful, and we're going to try and duplicate them at home. The crab dip was wonderful and rich. We couldn't finish it. The Philly cheese steak sandwich was pretty good. Shout out to these guys for putting real cheese on it instead of crappy nasty "american" cheese, or cheese whiz. Our meals were delicious, perfectly paired with an appropriate drink recommended by our friendly waiter, and presented in a timely manner. As a newly open restaurant, you expect to be some hiccups and the food service. I went for lunch with a group of ladies and we were all pleased with our food. I have the Cubano sandwich which was delicious well-made others had grilled cheese, some salad specials and everyone was happy with their food. Service was great and we seated outside so we could actually have a conversation. The only drawback was I was looking forward to strawberry rhubarb pie, which they didn't have that day so I had to go back went back for lunch with a friend and once again the food was excellent and rhubarb pie was divine. We were waited on right when we walked in the door. The waiter seated us right away, handed us menus and took our drink orders. I ordered the fried okra and the fried chicken and my wife ordered the cassoulet, everything was cooked great and they tasted great. We've eaten at Shirley's three times and honestly, I haven't found anything worth getting again. We've had the cheesesteak, which was good but not excellent. Rosemary fries, always come out cold. The Cuban and the Italian, I wouldn't get again. The fried chicken was dry, maybe air fried? The soft drinks are very overpriced. I stopped by on a Friday afternoon around 1pm. Every seat was taken in the small and cozy dining area except for one at the bar. Good sign! I ordered the Torme burger medium rare and some crispy rosemary fries from the friendly and helpful server. The food arrived quickly. Burger was cooked perfectly and topped with grilled onions and tomatoes. The fries were spectacular. Think of the best crispy McD fry you ever had and imagine a plate of perfectly consistent ones with rosemary herbs and flaky sea salt. Best. Fries. Ever. Their menu is pretty big and amazingly diverse. I will definitely be coming back to try more items. read more

Food is fantastic and reasonably priced with great service. Parking can be a challenge but get there a little earlier than reservation.

Went for lunch with a friend. She had the Torme burger I had the steak sandwich. We both had the fries. Everything was good not great. Service was excellent. Our server waa dressed as Tony the Tiger. Place has a nice feel inside this cozy space. Industrial is best description. Wait staff was attentive and very pleasant. Prices were high- almost $50 for 2 sandwiches & 2 iced teas. One of the employees who was working behind the counter had a loud, penetrating voice that really interrupted our time there. When mentioned to our server, she said she'd been told this before. So why doesn't he lower his voice? Food was good, but at those prices not sure we will return. read more

My husband and I are big fans of Shirley's. We try to get there early or later than the lunch rush hour. The parking is limited as is the seating. We have our favorite table. The menu is a cosmopolitan mix. My husband loves Barry's hamburger which is served with ample delicious Rosemary fries. The Cubanano sandwich is one of his favorites too. I love the Goi Gai salad which has a really refreshing lemony dressing. Recently the liquor license was granted. We sometimes enjoy one of Barry's margaritas which is one of the best in town. My husband loves a cold beer and Barry said he would be getting an IPA selection soon. The servers could not be more efficient or nicer. They're wonderful. read more

Wife and I ate at Shirley's yesterday for first time. Food and service was average. Cuban sandwich was average and Rosemary French fries was recommended by a friend and highly recommended by waitress. Fries were good but had no rosemary taste nor signs of rosemary. Told waitress about such and she said they were tossed in rosemary which we doubted so I don't recommend unless you want regular fries (she should have ordered another side to assure they were rosemary. Torme and El Gato much better which I recommend. Tables are so close together that a private conversation can't be communicated. Visit his other places mentioned instead. read more

I have eaten at Shirley's Urban Eats in Prescott twice since the opening. The first was very good and the second was not. I ordered the Southwest Turkey Crepe and what i received was a turkey wrap in a flour tortilla. I mentioned to the waitress (I believe is training) that my lunch selection was not a crepe and she replied "oh, that's a tortilla". She offered no other comment or resolution. This restaurant is owned by a local Restauranteur and we do our best to support them, but I will think twice before going back. read more

This is the first time we've eaten here. The owner of Shirley's is the same owner of El Gato Azul and Torme, here in Prescott. Now I can say I've eaten at all three of his restaurants. I can't say enough good about all three. For Shirley's, the food was very, very good. I had the Philly Cheesesteak. It was amazing. Made with Rib Eye steak. Oh so tender and mouth watering. I paired it with the home made chips. They were so good. My husband had the Torme burger, again with their chips. Our friend had the green curry. She said it was good. Her husband had the Rib Eye Philly, with the macaroni salad. He said the macaroni salad (home made) was excellent. We finished lunch off with their layered bananas dessert and their chocolate tort. These were amazing, also. The service was stellar. The atmosphere was robust, quaint, and cozy. This is a small restaurant that does and excellent business as there are always people waiting for a table. I can't wait to go back and try their other dishes. Thankyou for this new restaurant in Prescott, we so much needed. The food is crafted to please you! No industrialize food here. Maybe open up for breakfast too, how about dinner? Top of the line lunch place,gets busy and noisy and popular, excuse the imperfections if its a small place and dont bitch about it and why would you, the crafted food makes up for it. I am thankful!
