We ALWAYS visit Bear and Dragon when we come to Prescott!! It is a genuine British restaurant experience, and the food is incredible The Secret Garden tea latte is the BEST tea I have ever had, in any country! It includes lavender and rose and is delicious. The Tolkien's Breakfast is shareable, and the three of us got it along with the Queen Victoria. Phenomenal!!

I have been hearing so much about this restaurant and I was up in Prescott last weekend. Stopped in for breakfast before leaving to town. The interior is quaint, beautifully designed, and the exterior front patio is very nice place to enjoy if the weather is good.

The food and service was absolutely amazing! The ambience within the café really made me feel cozy and at home! The Mordor and Sasquatch coffee were really great along with the French omelette and Bjorn's breakfast too!! The scones were absolutely delicious!!

This place is amazing!!! It is so quaint and the food is excellent. The service is homey, and it is really an amazing place to stop in if you get a chance. We had the French omelette and the Steinbeck breakfast, all were very high quality.

This cute little library-themed restaurant may be our new favorite breakfast place when we come to Prescott. We asked to sit on the patio and they said they could provide shade for every table out there. The patio was pet-friendly. Our food was delicious--the French Omelette and Tolkien's Breakfast (a big English breakfast that brought back good memories for us!). I also ordered a sugar-free vanilla decaf latte which was delightful. Our server was friendly and efficient and our food came to us quickly. The only thing was I wanted more salt and it took awhile to get it. I guess usually people don't usually ask for that. Our bill came in a library book! What a cute idea.

INCREDIBLE FOOD/AMBIANCE/SERVICE!!! We stumbled upon this restaurant and fell in love with it immediately. Owners were there greeting and making sure everyone was happy and enjoying their experience. Great options... even VEGAN options! Siena was a lovely server, so pleasant! Chris (owner) visited with us- everyone is extremely nice. Pet friendly patio too!!!

Went back when we were in town and brought our Aunt and Uncle for lunch. They loved it! It just such a cute spot with great character. And the food it so tasty. I opted for the bowl of the mushroom bisque -so good but so rich!

Great locally owned business with a theme of books. Delicious food, great service. Highly recommend

Enjoyed another awesome breakfast, with my aunt and Sonic (service dog in training from Guide Dogs for the Blind). The food is great, and I adore the ambience. Special things from Amanda, who greeted us and understood the assignment!

On May 1st, my wife and I stopped for lunch. We ordered 1 queen Victoria tray and 2 sandwiches Goldilocks and Fire Drake. We asked for the bill to pay, I looked at when he came to pick it up I told him this is not mine. He didn't even asked why he ripped it and said he'll back with the right one. He came back with another one and I paid it immediately. After we left I checked what we paid. They over charged: Queen Victoria $14 on menu $13 Goldilocks $13 on menu $12 Fire Drake $14 on menu $13 We never had such thing in the past. We've always give 5 stars on the review

Great and very Instagram worthy spot to grab breakfast . We tried their London fog latte, and also their pecan pie latte, which were both very delicious, the pecan pie was pretty sweet and the London fog had a perfect creamy texture to it. The English breakfast was more of an Irish breakfast, but was still delicious nevertheless. We did have a slight issue with some egg shells cracked into our eggs, but the owner checked on us and offered to have the dish remade so all is well, accidents in the kitchen happen. I didn't ruin the meal for us so all is well. Parking was relatively easy and there's tons of shops and things to check out down by the courthouse area nearby if you need to get in some steps after the Hardy breakfast.

    Do you take reservations?

We do not take reservations for breakfast, lunch or dinner (those meal times are first come first serve) Tuesday-Saturday. We do, however, take reservations for Afternoon Teq (a traditional British tea service) on Sundays.

    Is there a kids menu?

No official kids menu, but we are a kid friendly restaurant! Often we do things like scrambled eggs and bacon, or scones and cream for breakfast for kiddos. Lunch we have a kid’s grilled cheese, for example.

When we finally get up to the register, we tried to order breakfast at 11:02 and the cashier sharply told us we just stopped serving breakfast at 11:00. She felt rude when she said to us as well, but that's just our opinion. I understand swapping the menu over at a certain time and gearing the kitchen towards a lunch focused menu, but we were in line WELL BEFORE 11 am, and the person in front of the person in front of us, ordered breakfast! I'm usually not someone to write a review on anything, much less a negative one, but I feel like a little understanding would've been appropriate. We ended up getting a wonderful breakfast around the corner at The Cowboy Kitchen. (Wayyyy better vibe anyway.)

Tried the parm with fries and was unpleasantly surprised to get mouthfuls of dry, flavorless starch from the thick cut soggy fries. There's a reason they use thin cut for stuff like carne asada fries and marinara does not go well with french fries in my opinion. So why the 5 stars? The grumpy slice is some of the best pizza I've ever had. I thought it looked questionable that they seemed to just reheat pizza that was sitting on the display counter, but the taste and texture were perfection. And only $5 for a slice. Only place you'll get cheaper pizza is at a gas station.
