The kitchen staff were extremely loud, obnoxious, and disruptive--loud enough that it affected what should have been a relaxing meal\. What made it even more frustrating was seeing the manager seemingly fooling around rather than actually managing the situation\. Eventually, a short\-haired older woman had to step in and get control of things, and she seemed to be the only person taking the problem seriously. I was also really taken aback when I overheard the male server say that "it wasn't his job to make people happy\." That is an unbelievable attitude to hear from someone working in hospitality\. It honestly seems silly to put young people who are still displaying juvenile behavior in charge of running things\. Age itself isn't the problem--maturity and professionalism are\. If someone is given a management position, they should be setting the tone for the staff, not joining in with the fooling around\. For a restaurant with such wonderful food and such a cozy atmosphere, this was disappointing\. The food absolutely deserves praise, but the restaurant would benefit tremendously from mature, professional management that keeps the staff focused and understands that the guest experience matters\.

The Cove "Coffee and sunlight fix more than people realize." The Cove feels like one of those little hidden places you accidentally fall in love with. The moment you walk in, you're surrounded by beautiful green plants, warm sunlight, earthy textures, and this calm peaceful energy that instantly makes you slow down. I ordered a hot coffee with cream and it was absolutely perfect -- rich, smooth, comforting, and somehow even better sitting by the window with the sunlight pouring across the table. The plants everywhere make the space feel alive and cozy, almost like a little indoor greenhouse café escape. I also loved the natural, relaxed atmosphere. Nothing felt rushed. This sweet 'west side' coffee cafe is a gentle spot to gather and enjoy a fabulous cup of coffee or a delicious non-spirited mixed drink and have a light bite along side - not a lot of food, but just enough. The space is beautiful & inviting, not over crowded and full of happy plants that seem to brighten as customers come & go. The service is kind and not rushed as all coffees are hand-pressed...definitely a place to go when you can sit and enjoy. read more
