Our first morning, we had Todd, who was very attentive and took good care of us. We had the coffee, muffin, one pancake and a breakfast sandwich with bacon and the fruit skewer, along and a mocha. Everything was very good. We were pleasantly surprised how good the pancake was as my husband is very fussy about his pancakes. I was worried the bacon would have a spicy cake, but the cake is very minimal. The bacon was delicious! Our second day was not as good of an experience as we had a younger server who was not at the level of Todd. We laid our vouchers on the side of the table, just as we had done the day before, and this he completely missed them and brought our bill with full charges. Therefore, he had to go back and redo the bill. He didn't seem fully awake. LOL. He also was not as friendly as Todd. Next time we go, we will ask for Todd. This time, we got the latte and muffin, and also shared the traditional breakfast with bacon and fruit. It was perfect for splitting.. we will definitely come back again next time we are in town. This is a really cute café.

I've been a long-time supporter and patient local observer. The new owners have made consistent wonky staff and menu changes. I'm not a complainer without offering solutions, so I've offered constructive perspective on the issues. However, if I ask you to keep mayonnaise (new addition to old menu item) out of my vegetable burrito because it nauseates me...and all I get is an argument from staff telling me it was alway made that way and the menu states it - when it clearly does not, I have no need to patronize an establishment which is devoid of basic customer service etiquette. The singular change I will not accept is being served up hatred with my order. The new staff - Pam and Violet, have overtly argumentative, unwilling, and erroneous positions toward their basic job function. No matter how much the pastry situation improved - Jessica, everything else has significantly devolved here!!!! You no longer have my patronage, and I am now the local who will overtly steer my fellows elsewhere.

I liked that there were plenty of outlets and space to charge devices, which is always a huge plus. The service was amazing. The two gals at the counter were so friendly and made my latte perfectly. I got the Campfire Latte and it was seriously so good, chocolatey and comforting without being overly sweet. You can tell they really care about making quality drinks. The sandwiches people around me ordered looked incredible too and smelled amazing, so I already know I'll be coming back to try food next time. Such a cute little spot in Cottonwood that feels tucked away in the best way!

Cafeteria style ordering, gigantic portions, and every sandwich/main course you choose comes with a side dish and a drink! No boring burgers here! The french fries are super tasty, but they are cooked in the same Oil that the chicken fingers are cooked in. (Just in case anyone's vegan friendly). But if you're not, it makes for an extra layer of yumminess! My dad had the bbq pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw topping and fries, I had the turkey sandwich with a pile of Boars Head turkey and jalapeño potato chips, and my guy had a veggie burger with macaroni salad, also worth mentioning the macaroni salad is gluten-free and vegan (but was still actually very flavorful!), so everyone can order something regardless of their diet. They give you lots of time before the train ride to have a meal and do some shopping, and it's a really cute venue. I took pictures of the menu and some of the shopping so you can see the restaurant in the background, and also some of the seating area outside. Very friendly stuff, and my suggestion is to get your gorgeous sandwich and cut it in half, then take the rest on the train with you to eat in a couple of hours! Everything is served in a paper to go box, and condiments and soda / coffee / tea / water machine are located outside for your use.

There is never a wait to get it unlike other spots in Old Town Cottonwood. I regard this excellent little eatery as the forgotten spot because it's never crowded but it should be. The food and service are always well above average. The cool thing about Bocha's is you can have a traditional American or Mexican breakfast. I really like the Bocha's omelet which has chorizo, cheese and a couple of moderately hot peppers. Their home fry potatoes are very very fresh and always tasty. I suppose the only draw back is they don't serve alcohol which is a bummer because I often like a good Screwdriver with my Sunday breakfast. You may have noticed that the building they rent is up for sale. I asked our server about it and she told me they have another two years on their lease so they plan to stay at that location after the sale. If you haven't tried Bocha's you're missing so great local fare. Try it. You'll like it. I promise.
