To be honest, I felt a little impatient waiting for our sandwich because given the space and kitchen, I just expected a simple grilled ham & cheese situation. Instead, out came the most glorious grilled ham and cheese I have ever encountered. It was beautifully crafted - 2 types of melty cheese (cheddar + havarti), a thick slice of honey ham, topped with fresh spinach all sandwiched between two toasted slices of garlic butter-ed whole grain bread. I designed my own wrap of turkey, provolone, lettuce, onion, pepperocinis, sunflower seeds, and raspberry vinaigrette; and got it grilled. YUM!!! My love ordered the Chili Dog and devoured it. We almost ordered one of the tasty-sounding soups--creamy Italian or tomato basil. Next time I'll give the soup and salad combo a try. Put Russo's on your lunch list! And then top it off with one of their cheesecake creations.
