Once upon a time, this café was our go-to spot for breakfast, and we didn't mind making the 40-minute drive to enjoy our favorite meals. However, our recent visits have left us feeling let down. We decided to revisit after they revamped the café and updated the menu. Unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations. There were flies buzzing around the area where we were seated outside, which was rather off-putting. The lattes and mochas, priced at around $6-7, arrived lukewarm. Additionally, there was a mix-up with our order; my husband had requested extra bacon, but it was forgotten. A different waiter came to check on us, and when we mentioned the missing bacon, she promised to look into it. We ended up waiting for over 30 minutes, but the bacon never arrived. It was quite disappointing. What was once a charming little café with a delightful atmosphere has sadly turned into just an average spot. read more

So DELICIOUS! An out of the way place since it's outside of Camp Verde which arguably is already an out of the way place... However I HIGHLY recommend. Super cute find in a small town. You could tell a lot of love went into putting the space together. A small pop up library in the front, fresh pressed juices for sale at the door. It was beautiful out so we opted for the patio. The had blankets at every table and heaters on the ceiling if needed. We were there at breakfast, sadly they were out of bacon due to a supplier issue so I got turkey pattys instead with my waffels. The waffels were fluffy and fragrant with fresh fruit and dollops of whipped cream. I appriciate they serve real maple syrup as the fake stuff is gross. My guy got their breakfast plate and finished it happily. I appreciated they made me a jasmine tea latte with oat milk which is not on the menu. They also had a high chair for my little guy. Service was friendly. I wish I could have grabbed something off the lunch menu but we were an hour to early. read more

Highly disappointed with the customer service and food. I ordered the "Sunrise Bowl," and according to the menu it should have come with wild rice. When I got home there was no rice and it was too late to call. All I got was kale, potatoes, sweet potatoes and 3 pieces of avocado. I would have never agreed to pay $13 for that. I went back the next day to look at the menu to see if I was mistaken and explained the situation to the server. The server explained to me that the dish never came with wild rice and that those menus were old. I would have NEVER ordered the dish had I known that it didn't come with rice. It was never communicated with me. When I looked at the new version of the menu I noticed that the dish also was supposed to have parsnips and pepper which it did not. I explained all of this to the server who was very dismissive and just continued to justify the ingredients the dish did come out with. I was in the hospitality industry for 20 years and I would never have justified CHEATING people out of ingredients that they are paying for. Nor have I worked at a restaurant that wouldn't have wanted to make this right. This is what happens when you allow children to run your front of house. Customers should be able to enjoy their meals and not have to be hyper vigilant if they are being cheated or not. This place lacks integrity and I will not be going back. It's sad because I really wanted to love this experience. read more

If you haven't stopped here for breakfast, don't walk... RUN as fast as you can to get here!! I haven't been this pleased with a local establishment in a long time. From the personable, friendly staff to the absolutely gorgeous setting and, of course, the outstanding food quality ... everything was a delight. In fact, the ingredients to my two dishes (seen in the photos) were so good, I had to ask ... and, yes ... as much as possible, Peach Tree Cafe uses local, organic "farm to table" produce in their recipes. Trust me ... you will taste the difference. Also, you have to try their homemade hot sauce (see photos). It is delicious. I know I'm enthusiastic about this experience , but if you read my other reviews, you'll see I don't mince words. I'm not afraid to call an establishment out. I'm also not one to heap undue praise. But, Peach Tree Cafe has WOW'd my eyes and taste buds. The quality here both surprised and delighted me at every level. Peach Tree Cafe is a genuinely rare, hidden gem in the heart of RimRock, Arizona. I can't recommend it enough. A true 3-star Michelin experience. read more

It was an interesting experience. The hostess refused to let me sit down till my whole party of two arrived. That was odd. My Reuben sandwich was cold on plain bread. It wasn't even toasted or warm. I did not find it appealing for the high price. I took it home & warmed it up to where the cheese melted and bread was toasted then it tasted great but cold just wasn't enjoyable for that type of sandwich and price point. The Peach Tree Cafe is a little out of the way but definitely worth the extra few minutes trip. It's charming and beautiful and serves delicious brunches. We ordered biscuits and gravy. Unless you plan to share, the half order is still a large portion. Also, we ordered the Southwestern Corn Bake. It's like your Mom's Thanksgiving Corn Casserole with the welcome addition of fire roasted chilis and veggies and cheese in this eggy bake. Served with a beautiful salad tossed in the best vinaigrette. Again a very generous portion. Prices are more than reasonable. Service was friendly and efficient even though they were also dealing with a very large party. If you are staying at the Cliff Castle Casino, it's a perfect breakfast or lunch side trip. What a hidden gem! My wife and I visit the area a couple times a year and this was our first time trying the Peach Tree. I had the home made chorizo and scrambled eggs, the home made hot sauce (careful I think it's habanero but excellent!) my wife had the waffle and it too was really wonderful. My wife and I were seated outside, as requested, on a perfect day. Although it was a bit breezy, the setting was perfect. The plant life outside was so fun for my wife to admire. Next we ordered two breakfasts and both were prepared to perfection and both were very tasty. Last, having been led past the bakery area on our way to our seats, we decided to have the cinnamon roll. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the area, which is why we drive out of our way to come here. Drove half an hour to have brunch only to be turned away an hour before they closed, saying that they were slammed and the kitchen was at capacity. As a regular customer of this restaurant, I was really disappointed to be told. "come back again and we'll take care of you." What does that really mean? Was there any sincerity in this? No. We'd already told them that we had driven half an hour to get there and no one answered the phone when we called to check before we got in the car so there was no way for us to know that we had just wasted our time. The person behind the counter could have said "come back again. We'll take care of you and here's a card offering you two free coffees and a pastry to accompany your next meal.." That would've been great customer service and inspired me to return. This isn't the first time something along these lines has happened visiting this café. We've introduced many of our friends to Peachtree and have up until today considered it one of our favorite places to go for brunch. Management needs to seriously revisit their customer service policy. And at the very least, answer the phone or change its message when at capacity or hang a sign outside saying "we're closed." read more

This is such a lovely cafe! They have several seats inside and out. The garden is magnificent though, so we definitely wanted to sit outside and enjoy the weather. You order your food at the counter, pay, and then pick your seat. The food we ordered was really good. We tried some coffee, the southwestern corn bake, biscuits and gravy, and the breakfast burrito. I will say that I wish it was more seasoned, but I still enjoyed everything. We would definitely return to try more! The baked goods looked delicious too! read more
