Green chile Turkey Melt
Michael F.

If you are ever in Rimrock, you will not find a ton of dining options. I've been driving by Robbie's for years and finally decided to stop here for lunch twice lately. It is a cool place with a big parking lot and a casual country vibe inside. Both visits, I was promptly greeted and told to sit wherever I'd like. My first visit I ordered the Rimrock burger and onion rings. The burger was tasty but unfortunately the onion rings were not even slightly crispy but I still ate them. Next time, I tried the green chile turkey melt and fries. The sandwich was salty but ok. Fries were very good. Service was great. I will probably give it another try.

The food was amazing. The fry bread took us back to some great memories with my grandparents on an Indian reservation growing up. Service was great. Our server was super knowledgeable and friendly. It's a country western kind of feel and we really enjoyed it. Sweet potato tots were up there with the fry bread

Vegetable Calzone

Fantastic portion size. Calzone was fabulous! Ditto Chicken Alfredo. Great service & friendly atmosphere. Service was with a smile.

Chuck Norris fried chicken and brisket salad were fantastic! Nice atmosphere Outstanding service! Drove from Flagstaff to eat lunch here

Wow. On the road between Phoenix and Flagstaff near Camp Verde is this gem of a rural restaurant. Cowboy bar inside, with a nice garden patio outside, and an ice cream shop next door. Great vibe all around and good service. "Foodie" influenced bar food. The brisket sandwich was on toasted ciabatta with a remoulade and caramelized onions. Had with an Arnold Palmer and a side of their delicious elk chili. Of course, got some ice cream after. What a delightful place. Usually on this route I stop for fast food. No more! They're also open for breakfast so will keep that in mind. Definitely would recommend. Not far at all off of I-17, but you have to know it's there!

We originally tried Brewha next door, but it had zero vibe and the service was basically nonexistent--so we walked over here, and I'm really glad we did. Sarah, the bartender, brought the place to life. Super friendly, attentive, and just a great energy all around. Service was quick, and they've got a solid selection of draft beers. For food, we had the double smash burger with tots and the artichoke dip--everything was . The burger was juicy and perfectly cooked, the artichoke dip was ridiculously good, and the tots were crispy, salty perfection (I'm still thinking about them). Overall, great atmosphere, great service, and great food. We'll definitely be back.

Right after my initial review the restaurant went through a management and ownership change and a LOT changed. I came back once or twice after the new ownership and the food was in transition. I waited really, another several months for things to settle down, and started coming more regularly. The food is substantial, first of all. Mark, (owner), takes immense pride in serving quality food. Pricing sadly, in commensurate with Sedona, but that is life here in the VV. There is smoked prime rib dinners on Saturday, Taco Tuesday and relevant holiday specials. But again, portions can be shared or you've got two meals. Win-win Management and staff has changed, for the better from previous. Staff is friendly, efficient and professional. I live in town and we have few choices, but our choices are consistent and down to earth. The Roost is great for travelers and residents alike, who are seeking good food and atmosphere! I've been impressed with the sense of community the restaurant provides to all.

It's situated in the heart of uptown, with outdoor seating only! You order at the window and then they come serve you at your table. Service was friendly and quick - I appreciated the swiftness, considering this was our first meal after a long hike in the sun. Both meals - baby back ribs (half rack) and the burger - were great choices! They were savory, juicy, and the sides complimented perfectly. The portions are huge (as you can see in the pics!), so definitely come hungry. Overall a good experience and a staple food stop in Sedona!

It was obvious that they were backed up about a 30 minute wait in the kitchen, but he was out front. He even brought out our appetizers first so that we had something to eat while we waited for our burger. He brought it to our table, checked in with us, and then we were able to feed our face with a delicious burger, fries, and fried pickles. We were that hungry so we split a stud burger which was Cheddar cheese, Bacon, BBQ sauce, topped with an Onion Ring. He even offered to cut it in half for us without even asking. The barbecue sauce was more on the sweeter side, which I didn't love, but it was still delicious and the service definitely made up for it. This restaurant is located in the main part of town. You order at the counter get a number and they deliver your food to your table. Very, very casual environment. Five stars for the service.
