What a great unexpected find on our way to Sedona! We had some time to kill before we could check into our Airbnb, so we stopped in around 12:30 on a Saturday. At first, I honestly thought we might be in the wrong place, but man, were we pleasantly surprised. The beers were phenomenal, the food was great, and I had one of the best bratwursts I've had in a long time. My wife got the pretzel, which was also excellent. Even the pineapple coleslaw was memorable - pretty traditional at its core, but with a really cool twist. Same goes for the IPL I had. Familiar, but different enough to make it stand out. Service was great, bathrooms were super clean, and the whole place ended up being such a fun pit stop before heading into Sedona. Alex, our server, was immaculate. Great food and service for an actual hole-in-the-wall off I-17! They're a brewery first and foremost, and their beers are really dang good. They don't pretend to be a stacked kitchen with sophisticated dishes, but the nachos, brats/hot dogs, and sandwiches were surprisingly good. You can tell they care about making the food the best they can, which is the most important thing. My wife and I agreed it was one of the better chicken salad sandwiches we've had. We stopped in for a beer after a long day of hiking and thank goodness the beer here is icy cold. It was so refreshing! There were plenty of choices of beer on the menu for the day and we were able to taste a few options before getting a full pour. Our server was very nice and helpful. I ended up having 2 pints of the gold buckle honey lager. All the beers I tasted were fairly light flavored, which was great. Super cold and refreshing. The beers, I definitely enjoyed. We also decided to try some food as well. I noticed their kitchen is a place where they just prep and reheat items, and most things seemed microwaved. I'm sure the food was cooked somewhere but it just wasn't my cup of tea. Other reviewers seem to enjoy, but everything just tasted okay, a little bland, but we ate everything, it just wasn't my favorite. This is really the only "brewery" in Camp Verde. Small place, but they do brew right on site. The staff is very friendly and service was great! They had a good selection of beer, but no other options (like Cider or Wine, etc.). They do have a kitchen so you can order food as well. We didn't order this time but we might go back! read more

We really enjoyed this hidden gem. It's not off the main road so it gets missed by a lot of people, but it's hidden in the industrial area only 2 mins away. They have a great covered outdoor patio with some games and picnic tables, and then inside they have high top tables or low tables. The available beers are all written on the board behind the bar and I tried a beer flight for $14. Great deal and they were large pours. You can sample any of them prior to choosing. I loved the watermelon sour!! So good! As for the food I thought it was great. 3 of us ordered the prime rib beef dip and it was awesome. It comes with onions and horse radish on it and was so fresh and delicious. My boyfriend got the meatball sub and he loved it. My house salad was filled with crisp veggies like red pepper, red onion and also had tomatoes and cranberries. The chicken salad was very good- I prefer savory over sweet so this was perfect for me.
