    Golden buckle honey lager
    Josh R.

Interesting location located just off the main highway. Inside is nice. Beer served in chill glasses. Wife had the wildflower honey IPA and I had the gold buckle honey lager. Hers was very tasty. Mine was light and crisp. Would recommend anyone to pop in to give it a try.

Nice people!! Great outdoor space with a spray fan for moisture! Great beer, good food! We each had a hot dog and they were really good. The hazy IPA was good enough to warrant can purchase

Small and local brewery. The beers we had were great and the food we ordered was fine. I'd come back again for beers, but a lot of the food seemed pretty mid. In our group, we all are what we ordered, but it wasn't anything memorable. We were here on a Tuesday in June, so the patio was too hot to explore. Our server was friendly, and the local patrons were all in good spirits.

We were getting work done next door and stopped in for lunch. Polite and attentive staff. Great food. Decent prices.

Good beers I love the sours they come out with. Usually pretty quiet. Had their dip last time I went and it was pretty good

Verde Brewing is hidden in the back of an industrial park off Highway 260 in Camp Verde. They have indoor seating and an outdoor area. They have games you can play while you're drinking. The other night I sampled two of their beers- the bourbon stout and their sour. They were both delicious drinks, and I totally would order them again. Verde Brewing also has food. I wanted dinner, so I ordered the "family size" Nachos. It was a regular dinner plate size. Not quite sure how that fits as family size... the individual size was a dessert plate size.

Great spot to stop right off the highway! Went for a hike in Sedona and stopped here on the way home. Watermelon sour beer was very refreshing after a long hike. Elote nachos with pulled pork were fresh. Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming.

    Meatball sub

This place has been on my todo list when going through Camp Verde for a while now but it was always closed when we would try to visit. They expanded their hours recently and we were happy to try them out. I had a meatball sub which is my go to when they have it on the menu. It was very fresh and they also had a myriad of beers on tap that we unique and flavorful.

Nachos & a dog at NICE happy hour prices. Yummy Hazy IPA & a mellow friendly crowd- great stop off the road enroute to Sedona- lots of midweek incentives to play all day. Friendly staff- generous on the tastings

Ask the Community - Verde Brewing Company

    Is it pet friendly?

I think so. There were dogs there outside when we went.

When is the new location gong to open with all of the options that the other location had?

The "new" location on Industrial Drive is open. There is both indoor & outdoor seating. Food is served, although I think that the current menu has fewer options than the old location in the Boler's building. The beer is still delicious!

Everyone was so friendly, the regulars there drinking, the bartender/general managers, and other staff clearly have a lot of pride in the location, providing togetherness. I loved hearing the bartender tell others about that evening's music bingo- how it was created as something fun for the locals who they had always heard talking about or enjoying music, so they created a whole night for them- We also got the story of the randomness of the folded money in the wall stones- and what started as random became the community giving to charity through a fun bar secret means- Oh, and the wonderfulness of the team coming together to close down for a hard earned week of vacation- not just rotating schedules, but all relaxing together- the customer service, the management of it all, it really was a great model for micro craft brewery We had pints of Hop Deposits solid hops hazy hoppy Broken Pick pineapple juice flavor balanced Broadway -best golden I've had, perfect balance of roasty and of course Modern Miner- all untapped 5 stars; yup, we got the great beer we wanted- super sad we can't buy in MD- we'd have our fridge stocked regularly & music bingo would be our date night- cannot recommend enough- hubby even bought a hat to remember (though sadly TSA lost it moving our bags- and he says it's ok, but I know he's super bummed- that's the impact of happy times at this location)

They also have a pretty elevated menu that surprised me with some of the menu options that were pretty inventive. Vibe: They have plenty of parking, plenty of seating inside and out, and they are dog friendly. There is a lot of open space and I like the area because you get a nice view, the little courtyard is really relaxing and they are very welcoming. Service: One thing that stood out to me was the cans that have a red and green on each side. If you flip it to the green it lets them know you need the host and red if your table is good. They are very attentive this way so I really liked this. Or hosts were very amazing and sweet and gave some good suggestions. Beer: I got one of the ambers, and my wife got one of their lighter beers. Hers kind of had the taste of miller light so it was ok, and mine was good. We did not try yo many beers, their IPA's looked pretty good but we wanted t something light and simple. Food: We opened up with their patatas bravas fries with sweet potato fries and they were really good, we could not stop eating them, the sauce was delicious and the sweet potato fries were perfection. My mother in law got the chicken sandwich and chips and that was definitely the way to go, crispy, savory and just delicious, I got the Thai burger, med rare with chips, this is where I say they got inventive, I have never had a Thai burger and being a cook myself I loved the concept. Unfortunately my burger was a little more rare that mid rare the closer I got to the center of it and under seasoned there were some Thai flavors present but most of it was taken over by the slaw, so you did not get much of the peanut sauce, the crunchy noodle part of it go more soggy and so did the bun. I think it's a wonderful concept, I think there may be a better bun to use to not let it get so soggy, and I think there are some amazing Thai spices you can get with the protein. My wife got the Greek Tacos and they were ok too, I love the concept but I think instead of corn tortillas I would do some thin naan , I would have more Greek style seasoning and some kind of sauce with some heat with it and you have a winner. Over all it was fun, love the inventive concept I was going to do three starts but honestly I love that your doing interesting foods. .

Here at COLT Grill I had The Filly, a salad the menu described as "romaine, walnuts, pears, cranberries, bleu cheese crumbles, cranberry vinaigrette". I opted for the "small" ($8.50) over the" large" ($13) and it was a beautiful salad both in presentation and taste. But the salad portion of the menu also said one could "add chicken or smoked turkey" ($4) or "add beef brisket" ($5) and I did. Did you just tell me I could get a perfect, tasty, ample salad with a separate, robust and delicious side of BBQ beef brisket for $13.50? I wasn't just ready to fly to Arizona; I was ready to move to Cottonwood. This meal was delicious. A "small platter of smoked brisket" ($14.50) was enjoyed equally by another at my table but, with my bowlful of brisket, I paid little attention to that other meal. My attention instead was aimed at a nearby table's indulgence in the smoked Mac-n-cheese ($4.75) and Cheesy Jalapeño Corn Bread ($4). Jealous I was, for I had no room for anything more. What a winner. COLT Grill might be half the reason I return to this area in the future.
