Dined last night for an early dinner and honestly, it was soooo delicious. We found free street parking easily at 4:30pm on Thursday night. Server Gianna was fabulous, attentive and quick. Pizza's crust is how I define quality of pizza and they are an easy exceptional A++. Crispy and chewy. Pizza sauce is nice and they don't put too much or too little. Even better than their pizzas funny enough, though, are their homemade pasta dishes! We tried their parpadelle bolognese and tagliatelle bosco bianco. I can't wait to drive back and am so happy we have this restaurant because now when I crave pizza or pasta it's only a quick 15min drive from Cottonwood. I'd choose to go here over Bocce on Main Street in Cottonwood. The menu has great options and my 1 yo loved her first pizza experience. My dad had the Italian Beef sandwich and the dressing on their side salad was tasty, and the sandwich was even better. I think they use pizza crust dough for the sandwich bread and it's toasty and delicious. I dislike when sandwich bread is too thick and Haunted Pizano's is perfection. It has a nice little spicy relish on it, too. Yum. Only disappointment is the aus jus really lacked flavor. I can't complain though, this restaurant is a gem for us who live here. Music was too loud for me, but I'm an old lady in a 36 yo body. I'm sure it won't offend most people. Design of the place is super cool and fun w/ the ghost's eating pizza artwork on the walls. Popped in here to satisfy a pizza craving. Bailey, Gianna and Xanessa were great! Got there just in time to enjoy the half pizza half Salad special. So good! Gianna even gave me a preview to my ghost tour which built up excitement! I went with verdura pizza sun red sauce, no red peppers. Loved it! Probably the best pizza I've ever had. I visited Jerome while staying in Sedona and I'm so glad I did. Service was fantastic and not a single table stayed empty for longer than 5 minutes. They have indoor and outdoor seating. I sat indoors and enjoyed the view while eating. Our server said they import the flour and San Marzano tomatoes for the recipes and it's definitely noticeable. What went well? EVERYTHING! While we had planned to go to our favorite, The Clinkscale, we stumbled upon Haunted Pizano and now it's in the rotation for our Sedona/Jerome/Prescott trips. Kate was wonderful in taking care of us. She knew the menu and was great in sharing her knowledge of the menu and what customers regularly get. It was no surprise that we happened to get the popular items: Blackberry Bourbon Sour cocktail, Polpette & Burrata Skillet, Cire Pizza & the Pear & Prosciutto Pizza. Lordie, lordie, we felt like we struck gold here at the Haunted Pizano. Their pizza is delicious. We shared a lunch special of a Ceasar salad and a half pie, made freshly before our eyes, with meatballs and ricotta. It was some of the best pizza I've had in a long time. OMG! This place is amazing! We normally bring our out-of-town guests into Jerome for the Haunted Hamburger (which is a favorite!), but as we were waiting on it to open we stopped in to buy a T-shirt and the guy there told us about the awesome Italian place he has to smell all the while he is working! He spoke so highly of it, that we were forced to give it a try... First of all, it has a dog-friendly outdoor patio, so it already had five stars before we even placed our order. The patio has three huge tables and if you happen to be seated with your back to the view, no problem because they thought this through and mounted a wall-sized mirror so that everyone gets to enjoy the beautiful AZ skies and red rock mountains out in the distance. We happened to get the booth closest to the street and my doodle got to people-watch as we enjoyed our meal! There were three of us and we each ordered the half pizza and salad (choice of mista/ mixed greens or Caesar) special and without even thinking about it, we actually each ordered a different pizza and as luck would have it, a half pizza is cut into three sections so we were able to share! We each ended up with three different slices to try and they all three were fantastic! Dough is made on site and it was by far the one thing that will bring me back for more! All three pizzas were delicious, but I must admit that I liked the Margherita Pizza the best! The salad was fresh and all their dressings are house dressings and the white basil vinaigrette is to die for! We all devoured our food and agreed we would have to come back to try some of their pasta dishes... Ok, so now to the best part and no, we didn't even try the desserts! The Bloody Mary was on point. The presentation was perfect (garnished with black salt rim, an olive, piece of cheese, and salami), but the taste! It was so good that two of us that "hate Bloody Marys" had to order one after tasting our friend's! YES! Our first time EVER drinking a whole Bloody Mary and we would do it again!!! Great service. Great service and good food. The perfect combination. Our waiter was attentive, very polite and offered a little humor on the side. We were here for lunch with a group of six. We had three pizzas, a salad and side of warm bread. The pizza crust was wood fired and just the right amount of crispy. The warm bread appetizer paired well with the oils provided. Plus you're in the heart of haunted downtown Jerome. A definite win for our visit. My family and I visit Jerome at least once a year and had not yet tried this newer restaurant. We were very impressed! We have two young kids so we sat outside on the heated patio. We were quite comfortable out there despite the cold temperature outside. Our server Brett was friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu. My husband said his chicken Parmesan was delicious and my kids devoured their pasta. I had the rigatoni with vodka sauce and I loved it as well. We all shared a couple of cannolis for dessert and these were also excellent. I highly recommend checking this place out if you are in Jerome! My kids are already asking to return. read more

Was here last weekend coming back from Prescott and my friends said this was a new place that just opened. Service was prompt and the pizza was pretty good. I got the salsiccia funghi as I love fennel and you hardly ever see that on a menu or pizza. The crust was great, toppings were tasty, but would say probably way too much truffle oil as I recall the pizza being oilier than other pizza I've had. While staying in Sedona, we took a day trip to Jerome and stopped here for lunch after a long hike. My pizza-loving 9 year old picked the spot, and it did not disappoint. It was a Friday around 2pm with about a 20 minute wait, which worked out since we explored a few nearby shops. Once our table was ready, all six of us were seated on their cute heated patio. Service was friendly and quick. I ordered a rosé and my partner had a grapefruit spritz that was really good. For food, I did the half pizza and salad with a plain pizza (no cheese), my partner ordered a large salad, and my son had a full cheese pizza. We have been regular customers of Haunted Pizano since they first opened. ALWAYS an amazing experience with incredible food, drinks and service, every single time. BUT, I must comment on last night's meal. Our server Nick was outstanding, a real professional in his field and such a great asset to the Haunted Group. I have had the Pappardelle Bolognese at least a dozen, (but probably more) times. Last night's was the absolute best ever. Eric Jr. and his kitchen crew knocked it out of the park again. He has surrounded himself with the best staff anywhere, hands down. The recipes are phenomenal. I couldn't stop eating the: "Pappa Bolo" (as I affectionately nicknamed it), until it was gone!! We ordered the polpette & burrata skillet, which is beef & pork meatballs in a San Marzano tomato sauce topped with fresh burrata, as our appetizer. Then we decided to share a pizza and chose the hot honey & formaggio pepperoni pizza, made with their house-made mozzarella, fontina, provolone, and ricotta, all drizzled with hot honey. Everything was so delicious and fresh! We couldn't finish it all, so we even stopped and bought dry ice so we would be able to take our leftovers back home to Phoenix. Beautiful presentation. Three ample slices and a delicious salad. It... was... perfect. I'd go back for the lunch special alone, though I do want to try a pasta dish! Now... the boring but cool detail. I had already paid for my drink at the bar before joining a friend at a table. But when the bill arrived, I received a very pleasant surprise. $15. For lunch. Served checked on us often and his recommendation was correct that everything they have is as good as the other so if you like those ingredients, it's going to be good.
