Walking in we were greeted by all the workers. They have an area with all kinds of merch. It's all decorated like a haunted house very cute. We got Deviled eggs they were really good comes with 5 half's. Then we split the double haunted burger. For $4 you get your own side we had spicy coleslaw it was just hot to taste and 1/2 a twice baked potato. We really didn't need a side each it was a big burger with cheese bacon mushrooms quac. It was all very good cooked perfectly. Great view out the windows of Jerome and cottonwood . Bathrooms were clean. We had a couple people stop to see if we needed anything. Overall great experience not crowded on a Thursday at 3 pm. Great place great food. There is a small parking lot about 6 spaces, other wise you climb up 17 stairs from the street level.
We loved our lunch. We split an appetizer and burger so we could get the carrot cake. We came here in a recommendation and so glad we did! Everything was fantastic. We ate outside and had an amazing view! Our server Genoa was very friendly and made sure our meal was great! She kept our drinks filled. We definitely will be back next time we are back in town!

I've been to Jerome many times over the years and never visited this place because I'd always assumed it was just another tourist trap with mediocre food . On 4/18/26 I visited with my wife, nephew, and his wife. I was pleasantly surprised. The wait was about 30 minutes, but well worth it. The place had a cool vibe, the service was exceptional, and the burgers were superb. We got fried artichoke hearts as an appetizer, which I'd never had before. They were delicious. Definitely with a visit if you're in the market for a burger while in Jerome.
Service was fantastic and the food was even better. Ordered the chipotle deviled eggs and a burger and it was to die for. We are stuffed just like our baked potato was.
No wonder this place is so popular even in a Monday noon for lunch. They don't have a lot of seats but the dining area is so wide open and had super beautiful view. The foods are very delicious in a reasonable price. Service is sweet! I think it is a great spot to check it out if you visit here. I recommend my taco salad and the haunted burger is very good as well.
I needed gluten-free options and they have gluten-free buns, so I had a bacon cheeseburger on the gluten-free bun and it was excellent, great taste and great service!! Janae was an awesome server and was knowledgeable in gluten-free requirements. No dedicated fryer so I had a salad instead which was also good.
I highly recommend the is place. We live in California and we have been to this place multiple times and every time it is great! I love the coleslaw! One of my favorite places to go. Prices are good , good service and really cool building and view.

It's supposed to be haunted here, as we were told it was a spot where some ghosts show up from time to time! Evidently, in the early days of the mining industry, injured workers were brought to this building for 'care', however, they didn't have anesthesia in those days...and some went mad from the pain and eventually died...and still hang out

Lots of skeletons and cryptid-adjacent items on hand for staring at while we waited for our lunch. After a short time, we got our meals nice and hot and with a smile from the waitress--always a plus. I had the Haunted Burger and have to admit, it filled me up in short order. It was cooked to my specs and was good. The bacon was thick and crunchy, the chiles were just hot enough and the fries were done to perfection. I have had a lot of burgers in my time and this one was near the top. If anything, being so large cost it a star. Would definitely stop by again when the live music was playing to have a brew and enjoy the view over the desert.
The Haunted Hamburger in Jerome is a must-stop if you're anywhere near the Verde Valley. The burgers are fantastic, the portions are generous, and the fun, with a slightly spooky vibe fits Jerome perfectly. We loved sitting inside with a view overlooking the valley with an incredible view while enjoying our burgers and fries. Service was friendly with our server Vanessa and efficient even though the restaurant was busy, and the team kept everything upbeat and welcoming. Next time we're in Jerome, we'll absolutely be back--and we'll save room for one of those gigantic slices of cake.
Place was really fun to go to and delicious too. The chicken fingers appetizer was delicious as well as the sauces it caned with. The ranch and buffalo were flavorful and worth it. The burger itself and fries you can tell are fresh and not frozen or premade. The interior of the place is also nice and cute as it has that old town feel. Mixed with the decorations inside and outside to give it a Halloween and horror type feel. I bet this place is really fun to attend to on Halloween. Will have to come back here again in the future one day.
Given the name of the place I wasn't expecting much. But it turned out to be a very good experience. If you get the right table, the views of the valley from their window are exceptional. We had a Haunted Hamburger(of course) and the stuffed meatloaf. Both were huge portions and very tasty. The margaritas were also large and tasty. the service was friendly and helpful.
First time in Jerome and saw this place from the streets so we decided to try it. We put our name down and it was about a 45 min wait but it was definitely worth it! The wait didn't seem too long either because we just browsed a lot of the shops nearby. I tried the ghostly burger and my friend tried the southwest sourdough burger. Both were so good! I got it with fries and he got it with the jalapeño coleslaw. The coleslaw was so good! It was refreshing with a little bit of spice. Both our burgers were cooked medium and they were super juicy. We were seated on the third floor and had a great view outside the window of the mountains. Love that there was open air coming in. I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area! read more

Cute little off the the Main Street restaurant we drove up from Phoenix for Halloween and well we enjoy the Haunted Pizzeria who seem to either be the same company and haunted burger or least sister companies. Well the service was extremely lacking here unlike the pizzeria. We were told to wait 45 minutes but they had open tables. We were sat outside in the corner away our server Bruce kept making smart comments about the football team we were wearing on our hoodies. And the hostess seemed to not care so much because we didn't have LV purse like the lady who came in after and was seated. Our food came out super slow we watched people come and go before we got our food. We were rushed to order main entrees before we even ordered our appetizers. Fried pickles tasted horrible My burger although flavorful. Was extremely wet for a well done burger and was awfully slimy the fries were probably y best part. Alcohol drinks tasted more like a bunch of mixer and a little alcohol. And I don't drink unless socially but you didn't taste any sort of alcohol which is weird. We really wanted to give this place a try but left feeling more let down then satisfied. read more

Hands down The best burger! We have been here twice now and both times have been amazing. The food is great, the service is excellent, and the restaurant decor is that of an old haunted house. It's just so unique, you must come here for the experience, the food, and, just for bragging rights to say that you have been to one of the coolest places ever! Best burgers & delicious fries. We enjoyed the Haunted Burger & the Bacon Cheeseburger. What makes these burger meals so good is first the quality meat. Second, the buns are homemade & incredible. While in Jerome, we had lunch at the Haunted Hamburger. The building was a former boarding house for miners . We were fortunate to be seated in the view bar with stunning views of the Verde Valley. Service was outstanding. I don't recall our servers name , but she was so kind and attentive. She had the warmest personality. My husband had the Chipotle Deviled Eggs and one of their Signature items, the Bourbon Jalapeño Bacon Bison Burger and Jalapeño Cole Slaw side. He enjoyed everything and I did try the coleslaw and it had a kick to it and a bit too spicy for me! I had the pastrami burger with fries. Burgers are not my go to food choice,but this sounded intriguing and after our server described it I had to try it and it was amazing . It was a juicy burger topped with pastrami, bacon, cheese and thousand island dressing. The blend of flavors complimented one another . My only complaint, it was large and messy.... haha. They have a decent drink menu with a variety of beer selections. Our lunch far surpassed our expectations and was delicious. read more

The staff graciously seated us 2 minutes before closing and still served us delicious food. I always hate being "one of those people" who show up right before closing, but we arrived in town later than expected and they were the last place open. I am very grateful for their kindness. We ordered a BBQ burger and a garden burger, which were both delicious. The bun was good, the patty was cooked well, and the tomatoes and lettuce were fresh. I highly recommend giving this place a try and sitting on the patio overlooking Jerome. read more

LOVED the vibe! I am all about kitschy touristy places! Our service was really nice and attentive. I thought the food was surprisingly good but family thought it was just ok. We started with deviled eggs which were SO bland, that was a huge bummer! My husband had bison burger and thought it was good. Son had meatloaf and did not like it. Haunted Hamburger in Jerome is such a gem! The veggie burger does not disappoint . I may not eat beef but that doesn't mean I don't love a great burger! The veg burger is flavorful, hearty, and perfectly made, with the real old school thin, grilled buns. Diner fries just as you would expect. Sitting out on the patio with an incredible view overlooking the Verde Valley makes the meal even better. The staff are super attentive and bring such a fun, welcoming burger joint vibe. Tried this place for the first time earlier today. The place gets super busy, & they don't take reservations. However, can be placed on a waitlist & they call / text when a table is ready. Which i liked. We got seated around the tentative time they gave. Customer service was great. The patio views were pretty. I took a star off because although the food was good, I didn't think it was an 1.5 wait good. We ordered the chips & salads which was pretty good, & the PB&J burger to try something different. The burger was just a burger to us. Nothing special. We ordered two Moscow mules as well. Those were okay. We had a Moscow mule at the Connor hotel prior, & that drink was way better. Overall , to me it's overhyped. The esthetic is cool, but not worth the wait. I rather go to the BBQ place a street down for the drinks & food. read more

100% yum and friendly amazing service (thank you Janae!). We had 2 pups in tow and were seated on their covered and enclosed patio. Janae was WONDERFUL and took great care of us. We did the tasty deviled eggs, I did a burger and my husband did the meatloaf sandwich. Food was very good and we just loved the vibe of this restaurant. I hit the gift shop for some swag, oh and we squeezed in some scrumptious dessert that is homemade so be advised don't over do it on the main course! Would come back for the service alone! read more

Loved it! We stopped in Jerome on our way to Sedona today. We stopped at Haunted Hamburger for a late lunch. My wife ordered the Blood Orange Spritz and subbed Vodka in place of Gin. She enjoyed it. We spit the Stuffed Meatloaf meal. We had Mashed Potatoes, Brown Gravy and a side salad. The meal was great. The server, Robert was super-chill and quite helpful on our food and drink selections. He also knew the town well and gave us some great sight seeing ideas. Glad we stopped at Haunted Hamburger. read more

I have to start with the food, because their Cajun chicken sandwich is the best we've ever had. It was tender, moist and flavorful, with a little kick of spice with the pepperjack cheese and green chilies. Plus, the bacon was a nicely added touch. I totally recommend this sandwich to anybody and the fries were pretty good. The wait was 20 minutes, but that was to be expected in a busy tourist town over the holidays! The chips and salsa trio, which includes guacamole yum and queso ok, but great little snack, especially for only 10 bucks! Also, have to report...dog and vibe friendly!! When in Jerome, give it a go!! read more
