I've been here a couple of times with a group of people and both times we had great service and good food. There is usually a wait, especially for a group so make sure to plan ahead if you're on a schedule. One reason we keep coming back is because the patio is dog friendly. They also have a fun variety of burgers to choose from. This last time I went with the hangover burger, and it was good, but I'm not too much of a fan of A1 sauce on burgers so if you're not either than you may want to go with a different one because that flavor comes through well on this burger. Today some friends and I went up to Jerome because someone was craving a burger from here lol! I got the bbq burger- which was delish! Especially because the frizzled onion were just perfect lol. A major bonus was the pineapple jalapeno marg! Soooo good and perfect My friends got the pastrami burger, which they enjoyed the jalapeno coleslaw the most, and the bison burger. My friend loved the bacon jam on it! We had a nice view was the bar seats outside too :) Waitress was nice and quick, only downfall was when we asked for the bill to split it was not split evenly as asked on 2 of the 3 cards and one of the girls was upset about it but not the end of the world either lol. read more

We grabbed a table on the patio, which is dog-friendly--a huge bonus if you're traveling with your pup. We absolutely loved the Haunted Hamburger. The food and service were absolutely the best!!!! They are enlarging their out door seating with an extension of the patio. It was a little noisy but understandable why. When we return to the Sedona are we will diffidently visit again to try more of their creations. So after a long drive outside of Phoenix through the beautiful countryside, we finally get to this town that I've never heard of before. It was a famous mining town back in the 1800s and when they pulled out, it became a ghost town, but people came back and bought property and fixed it up and turned it into the destination that you see today. Most places do well if they can say they're haunted. Well, most of the places here are spirit themed as there seems to be a prolific number of ghost sightings in the town. When you get there, you can imagine Old gunslingers going up and down the street and swinging a bottle on one hand and shoot a pistol on there and the other. But the views are stunning from everywhere you go they look out over the valley across these red ridges. It's just amazing. When we got to the front door and came inside, there was a long line of people waiting to get their name on the list. Some people were very impatient left early and that just pushed us up to the top pretty fast. I couldn't have waited more than 10 to15 minutes. They took us to a patio outside next to the main building and it overlooked the valley and you could have your food there and enjoy the view. Everyone we met there from the front door to the receptionist to the lady that took us to our table to the server. We're all incredibly beautiful wonderful individuals. They were so kind and accommodating. I really appreciated that. But when the food started coming. I was literally gobsmacked. It was gorgeous on the plate and the flavors only improved what I was seeing. I recommend anything on the menu because what I ordered. I was busy tasting the other food of our group around me and everything was spot on perfect. I highly recommend this place to go. read more

This place is so cool. Great burger selection, awesome drinks, and great shakes! What more could you ask for? I had the Bison bacon bourbon burger which was full of flavor! My wife had a turkey cheeseburger which was delish. The fries are really good, especially with ranch. Twice baked potato was good, but not amazing. Such a cool spot! It sits atop the little town. We were sat at the bar because it was VERY busy but we loved the setting and still got a great view. We started with some in house beer. It was very worth it. We then shared the pastrami sliders which in my opinion was AMAZING (even more than the burger lol) The burgers we had were good. We stopped here on the recommendation of a friend. It was worth the bit off our route to Sedona. We were seated quickly, we chose outdoor seating for the amazing views. The burgers were so good and they are huge. I ate half and loved the leftovers too. Ordered with the salad which was also great. They also had yummy old fashioned malts. This is not a big place so keep in mind if you have a large group. Also parking is sparse directly across from the restaurant. But there is parking lower down the hill if you don't mind hiking up a bunch of stairs. We got lucky with a spot across the street. Great staff & service. Ohh hell yeah. First of all, what an insanely cool town. Parking: street parking and some other options. We found a spot right around the corner and with a short walk. You could easily park by the "Sliding Jail" and enjoy exploring on your way up. We could smell the burgers from down the street. Greeted and sat right away. Great views. Visited there today with my dogs ( 2 great danes an a old English sheep dog) an my daughter right away the women offered to get my dogs some water they were hot from the walk there. We were sat quickly on a busy Saturday. Opted for outside seating which offered a great view. Nice they had heat lamps over the tables cause it gets chili that high in the mountains. Kiarra greeted us with waters and gave us time to decide on our order. She was friendly, patient and efficient. Our meals were great! Fresh ingredients, nice presentation and hearty portions. Hubby devoured a Philly cheesesteak with a garden salad which he gave a solid A. I enjoyed a Cajun chicken & bacon sandwich with green chilis, skip the cheese and a side garden salad. It was spicy, very flavorful and the chicken breast was cooked perfectly. A solid B+ for me. I absolutely love the Haunted Hamburger in Jerome AZ!! I have been here two times now and both times I was lucky enough to get seated on the back patio, overlooking the entire valley. I did request it the second visit and waited about an hour and a half but I knew what I signed up for. I ordered a Moscow mule and it was perfect. Then ordered some fried pickles for my girlfriend and myself to start with. Those were good, bigger than I expected. For lunch I had the hangover burger, cooked medium with the perfect fried and runny egg on top. The portions are big and they do not mess around with flavors! I can't wait to go back and try more food on the menu, there's so many delicious sounding plates! My family and I are from florida and here on vacation we found this location to be unique, fun, super friendly staff, and the food was just incredible. It was well worth the climb. The burger was thick and cooked to perfection and paired well with a cheesy delicious twice baked potato. I had to order the jalapeño coleslaw because it sounded tasty and was GF. It was delicious and had a just right after burn from the diced jalapeño. My waitress knew exactly what I could and couldn't have and wrote to change gloves on the ticket. I'm VERY pleased with my experience here and will definitely return. True to the name, the atmosphere and decor of this restaurant was all in line with what you think of when you hear the word "haunted." The host took us back inside to be seated where we saw a bookcase on the ceiling, met with beautiful outside views if you look out the window. Their portions are very good. The food was great, apart from the deviled eggs which seemed a bit dry & dull on the flavor pallet. The waitress was a bit slow to notice water refills. I had to actually ask. The chicken fajita quesadilla was off the appetizer menu, but it was ginormous and easily shareable as a meal for two. Bourbon Jalapeno Bacon Bison burger was huge and flavorful. As for cocktails, the margarita was good, but the painkiller was the star. The name comes from the ghosts that are said to haunt the old building.
