Their wings were moist w/ crispy outside, cheese dip was tasty w/ tons of chips to go with it, and pork belly appetizer was shockingly delicious. My kids hamburger was way too salty and overcooked. Fries are fun, crispy, but not my favorite. 5/5 atmosphere is fun. It's a huge restaurant/bar that has plenty of seating inside and on their patio. It feels like they have hit slump. We have gone each of the past two weeks and service was very disappointing. After being seated, I had to ask if we had a server after 15 minutes . Then the food finally came up and was cold and not appealing at all. Went in tonight for a pickup order. Wife and I only wanted to grab a drink really quickly. "All tables were filled" and help yourself at the bar. No spaces at the bar. But took us several minutes to notices at least 7 tables were empty. (We only wanted 1 drink)... Hostesses never looked for seating and actually ignored us for 5 min when walking in. read more

I'd say this was another great meal! We used a buy one burger get one free coupon and again, The Fat Frog did not disappoint. My husband ordered a house Margarita to start his meal off and he said it was ok. I on the other hand settled for a Diet Coke with extra ice, because why not? He ordered the Southwestern Smashburger (because of the hatch chiles) and I got the Rodeo Smashburger, which by the way was amazing! Double patties, onion ring, and a BBQ with horseradish smashed between two delicious buns!!! A+++ Service is always friendly and pretty quick and we continue to love the fact that they have a dog-friendly patio and that it's heated during the cold season! Stopped here out of convenience but had an enjoyable meal (appetizer dinners can be so satisfying!) We had nachos and fried pickles. The nachos were fair but the fried pickles were quite tasty. Noticed this new place when we were on 69 in Prescott. Didn't know what to expect and when we got in there, it was a very large and roomy sports bar with so many televisions. You could not have a bad seat to watch a game. My husband had a burger, and I had buffalo wings and both were great! Husband had one captain and Coke, which was a good poor and I had two lemon drop martinis that were fantastic! I opted to let him drive home! lol! We will definitely be back when we are in town again in August!! Servers were great. We had two one had to leave, but we enjoyed both of them very much.! read more

My boyfriend and I were sat in a corner with a table that was really small. When our server finally showed up, we gave her our drink order, He had a beer and I had a margarita - she never asked if I wanted another brand of tequila or anything. when she came to take our order, she wouldn't even acknowledge my boyfriend, and she was rude. I asked for a box which she brought, however as I was boxing up the wings, she just took the plate of french fries away, didn't even ask if we wanted them. Our Server was friendly and helpful...although everything she suggested was everything that I don't eat. Hubby decided on a Onion Double patty Smashburger with rodeo sauce on the side (contains horseradish and hickory bbq) He was not impressed, the patties had no flavor and they were way overcooked and charred so bad that the onions were also black. I went with the Classic BLT with avocado. I asked for lightly toasted. (I have a soft upper pallet that is sensitive to rough foods. I don't know how they managed to give me lightly toasted and yet the bread with crispy as hell....it ruined my gums. But at least the total of 8 bites was tasty...minus the crust, couldn't even attempt to eat those. Went Monday for the prime rib at $22.95. It was good, but getting what you order the first time was quite a task. Server didn't ask how we wanted it done - came out okay cooked medium. We ordered a chips and beer cheese appetizer with the standard salsa and $2.00 extra for guacamole. We had to ask again for the salsa and the guacamole was literally spoiled. We ordered baked potatoes - one without butter, both with sour cream. We both got no butter and had to ask again for sour cream. The server asked if we wanted raw horseradish and the milder sauce version. We said both, but did not get any sauce version. The details on the check indicated our choices incorrectly. Simple specific details were not noted anywhere. We could easily see that several of the servers need significant training on how to perform the basics of their jobs. read more

First impression of this restaurant is busy sports bar with televisions covering every inch of wall space. Once inside noticed most of the tables are raised with high stools and the air seemed humid inside. Asked to sit at lower table and we were accommodated. While looking at the menu noticed numerous flies buzzing around. They have an outdoor patio with misters. The doors are open from outdoor patio to the inside, I assume to make it easy for servers to come and go with orders. We ordered the fish and chips, a side salad and a smashburger. The fish was over fried and tasted no better than frozen fish you could buy at the market and throw in your air fryer. Their burgers are all served with two patties and the brioche bun is twice as big as the burger patties. The "chips" or fries are over fried and hard. The side salad was lettuce that was all spring mix and had a few crushed or broken pieces of croutons in it. Due to the open patio doors not only did we feel the humidity inside the restaurant but we also had to fight off flies and mosquitoes while eating our food. Also would like to mention some of the wait staff had daisy dukes on which inappropriately showed their cheeks when reaching over tables to serve people. Didn't know we were at Hooters. I went here on vacation during what was the World Series for the dodgers vs blue jays. The place was PACKED with no free tables but they did their best to limit wait time. Once seated, the servers and kitchen staff were QUICK. You would never know it was a full house and a big sports event night with how fast the service was. They also have 7364 TVs so perfect place to watch sports! I recommend trying their fried pickles! Delicious! read more

We have visited Prescott several times over the years and thought about stopping to try The Fat Frog which is right on Hwy 69. Finally tried it this trip and it was worth the stop, ...should have eaten here the first time we drove by. I had the Ruben sandwich, yummy and my wife had the Prime Rib French Dip, also yummy. I had to try this newer hotspot after hearing about it. First, it is fully remodeled from the previous restaurant. I didn't even recognize it when I walked in. It's gorgeous with tons of seating, both inside and out. My wife and I chose to sit outside because it was a beautiful day. They did amazing job on the remodeling. When it comes to TV's, I must have counted at least 20 or 30. We were greeted nicely, and ordered 2 Bloody Mary's. They were the best we've had in a long time. I chose to get an order of wings, and my wife ordered the French dip. Both were delicious. The fries were perfectly cooked and amazing. I can't wait to return and try more food. read more

Tonight, after spending most of our day exploring dirt roads south of Williams, we went to The Fat Frog for dinner. We have eaten in that location previously when it was Coco's and Augie's. The interior of the place has definitely undergone a makeover. Lots of TVs adorn their walls. My wife had the mozzarella salad and I had the Italian meats sandwich with Mac 'n' cheese. Our first time at the Fat Frog was a great experience. From the start, our server Brooke made us feel welcome and was able time give honest recommendations for what we should try. We both had Smash Burgers, one had onion rings the other had fries, The burgers came out and they looked amazing. The taste was spot on. I want to give a SHOUT OUT to the staff at The Fat Frog for saving our family's baby shower this past weekend. We originally reserved a Ramada at Goldwater Lake, with plans to order catering from somewhere else but had to scramble for a change of venue last minute due to the weather. On a day's notice, Richard, the manager, arranged for us to use their back room and we met with the kitchen manager to set up buffet-style appetizers and a salad bar. The event very well - the back room was the perfect size and we were able to have some privacy from the rest of the space. Lindsay, our server, provided incredible service as did the rest of the staff. After all was said and done, this ended up being a more affordable and enjoyable option than our original plan. Our friends and family (most of whom came up from Phoenix) said they loved the food, the atmosphere, and want to visit the place again someday. Perhaps what's most important is that the Fat Frog saved my wife lots of unnecessary stress, which we both genuinely appreciate at this stage of her pregnancy. And they have one of my favorite things,pork belly bites. Cooked perfectly and delicious if i may say so myself. The menu is filled with good selections and our server was positive and came over to my table a few times to see how we were liking our entries and asked if there was anything else that she could get for us. Got there today with a bunch of car guys and the experience was awful. There were four of us at the table and did not get our food until many of the guys had finished their food and paid their bill. Our waiter was terrible and rarely checked with us at our table. All four of us will never come back here because of the poor service and poor food preparations. We went to the Fat Frog last Friday and we were seated immediately in the heated patio. Enjoyed the view and the heater kept us comfortable. The server was great and provided quick service and good recommendations. We enjoyed the fried fish dinner as well as Asian bbq wings and pretzel bites. All the food was amazing! The Fat Frog had an excellent array of drinks as well. We enjoyed their house red and blonde beers brewed for them by a San Diego brewery. Very tasty! TV screens aplenty for sports fanatics but they aren't distracting if you're looking to just converse with your dining companions.
