Bad brews, and the guitar playing owner, Scott (?) , doesn't have an idea about how to tune his guitar. Named to the Blues Guitar Hall of Fame? There is no such animal. I checked. The only organization in the U.S,, the Blues Hall of Fame, has never heard of this narcissist, let alone honored him. $7 for a house brew? Someone's mule has bad kidneys. Couple of good musicians there -- keyboard, drummer -- did a great job but the clown who announced he was being inducted in ANY Hall of Fame obviously invented this "honor." Had to see for myself... just another malignant narcissist with delusions of grandeur. read more

Visiting family here in Prescott and stopped in since close to house. Enjoyed the vibe, the bartenders and everyone was super welcoming when heard we were visiting from out of town. Loved that we could bring in food (we had gyros one time and tacos another) and watched football. Live music every time we were there and found it fun! Bartenders Barb & M were super friendly and remembered our drinks the next time we came in on their respective shifts. Will for sure be back next time we are in town. read more

Windsock continues to be a great place for live music, away from Whiskey Row. Some of the better local musicians do solo gigs and host open mic nights and jam sessions. It's a neighborhood bar, not a dive bar. Clean, comfortable, and well kept. Super friendly bartenders and NO attitudes here. There's plenty of TVs behind the bar, a couple pool tables, shuffleboard and some games to keep you occupied. It's definitely one of the better neighborhood bars in the area. Even if you're new here you all feel welcome. read more

Decent place. Nice vibe inside. Stopped by to hang out with my daughter since dog was in surgery across the street. Bartender was friendly. And it wasn't an awkward feeling with a child to hang out and play some shuffleboard. I will definitely be back with wife to check out another time. This place reminds me of a typical bar in Wisconsin.... but NO food service. You need to go to the bar for drinks. Not much in the way of craft beer. The night we were there, one of my fave bands was playing: Sir Harrison, which is the ONLY reason we were there. He is BEYOND amazing. read more

Tried this place on a Saturday night. Pleasantly surprised to find live music but no cover charge! There is no table service so you have to go to the bar for drinks. No food service either. Love the aviation theme...but didn't see an actual windsock in the joint. There are a couple pool tables if that is what you'd like to do. I got the distinct feeling this is a local's hangout...so a great way to get welcomed to the neighborhood. This place is located in the strip mall so there is plenty of parking. I have been to this bar twice recently and both times the live music was stellar. The drinks were not watered down and it is a place girls could go and feel safe. The place is clean and the lady behind the bar (I think the owner) was friendly and keeping an eye on things. read more
