So great up here on the outdoor patio overlooking the Courthouse and park. It's fun watching all the different dogs going by on their walks. A drum circle was out there around 4pm. You can see all kinds of fun activities from up here. It's a lively crowd full of characters and everyone is talking to everybody. If you park directly below, you can keep an eye on your car. The live band started about 730pm w classic rock. The singer walks around thru the crowd which is cool. The bartender is cool. I like where I'm sitting that I can see thru the window-- the band singer and guitar playing walking around. It's a whiskey crowd but I'm drinking ice tea. Find the secret entrance to get up here. Very cool upstairs bar overlooking downtown. The patio is the place to be, with ashtrays and a bar top that faces the street--perfect spot for a cold one. Staff is friendly, drinks are ice-cold, and the vibe is just right. If you blink you might miss it. Located right next to Palace Restaurant you'll see their door with their name on it. You're instantly met with a staircase and a cool wall of stained glass. Once upstairs to the left you'll walk into the saloon. It is just a bar so do not be surprised they don't serve food. One of the cool things about Jersey Lilly is the view that takes you outside looking out over whisky row. You are directly above the Palace. Drinks are good and bartender was friendly. Very neat place when you walk in definitely just a saloon like bar atmosphere. It's not a restaurant there's no servers and we sat there for a minute and a table before we realized that we had to go to the bar and order our drinks but the bartender guy was very nice Jeffrey with a G. We had bloody Mary's which my husband said were amazing he likes spicy. Mine was a little too strong so he finished mine as well. We had a bowl of complementary popcorn. My girlfriend and I came here on our Prescott cocktail tour, which you should definitely check out and book, as the last stop. It is upstairs with beautiful views of the town, they have a small area where they setup a live band, as they did this evening, and there are two rooms with each having their own bar. The live band was a lot of fun but was a little loud, as most live bands are in smaller places. Personally I wish live bands would turn down their volume to match the venue better in a smaller bar such as this. It was a bit difficult to have a conversation but it was still fun. The main reason for 3 stars was the quality of our drinks. We both had old fashions and they were horrible. We only ordered from the one bar so it could have just been the inexperience of the bartender in regards to old fashions. If we return next time we are in Prescott, which I am sure we will because of the beautiful second story view of center of town, I will probably go with my tried and true Jameson and ginger ale because one can't really mess that up. read more

Very cool and comfortable saloon that is upstairs, with a patio and some windows overlooking the main drag through Whiskey Row, and overlooking the courthouse grounds. Easy to walk right past the entry door on the street, you head directly upstairs and then into the saloon. The area is broken up into 3 rooms, so is larger than it looks at first glance. We found the bartender to be friendly and proficient despite being incredibly busy and the only one working there during a mid-afternoon. Generous pours, and the crowd was a friendly mix of locals and visitors. If you are going to make your way up and down Whiskey Row, you need to stop here for a drink. read more

During fundraising Acker Night i had a terrible experience at jersey lillys. I was physically man handled (assaulted) by a WATER POLICE security guard while asking questions as to why he was going through one of my friend's bag. She was drinking out of a water bottle in between dances. OMG! The treatment i got as a 70 yr old woman was criminal. --Atmosphere, Service, & Parking--- I was in town visiting friends and they made sure for us all to come visit this place. It's entirely on the second floor of a building, so you'll have to climb some stairs or take an elevator and walk through a hallway to enter. The saloon is made up up two different seating areas and a patio over looking the square. The first is where the bar is with various seating, and the second a larger room with tables, a self-serving popcorn machine (love it) with a little stage where I presume they have bands play. Simple look and feel overall with that saloon feel. Service was self-service and seemed to be friendly. Parking around the vicinity seems to be street only and fitted with various meters. ---Prices & More-- I can't comment on the prices, but I was told they were reasonable. Wow, this is an old "old fashioned saloon!" It just needs to be cleaned, it was so dusty, piles of built up dirt everywhere, and it was so dark, carpet was so old it had bald spots in places. Furniture was old and falling apart. Just because it was built in the early 1900's, doesn't mean it has to be dated and runned down. There is such a thing called remodeling. The one thing this place has going for it, is they are the only saloon that has a balcony overlookung the court yard. read more

When I heard this place had the only balcony bar on Prescott's Whiskey Row, I knew I had to check it out. After getting some directions from the friendly bartender at The Palace, I walked up the stairs and found myself stepping back in time. The saloon was super cool and the live music/smell of popcorn really added a nice touch. After maneuvering around some groups of people we found the balcony. There are roughly 5-6 circular tables outside that can seat 4-5 people each, making it a lot more spacious than I imagined from street level. The view of Courtyard Square is second to none! While the view would have been awesome on any night, the Christmas lights/decorations definitely made it that much better As it goes with nearly every place in Prescott, the pictures/artifacts lining the walls really add a nice touch that makes you feel like you stepped back in time. Been to Jersey Lily many times over last 30 years. It has the ambience one is looking for when coming to a historic town. The music varies throughout the week, but is always the best music to dance to or just listen to while you overlook the courthouse. it also is the only bar, in town, that has a balcony that you can go out on and overlook the court house.
