2/24/26 12:00 First time here we came in for lunch my girlfriend and I both got pastrami sandwiches with French onion soup two iced teas and they were excellent. Could only eat half. Kelly was our waitress and she was great. Somebody said you couldn't get a cheeseburger on the dinner menu and it's on the menu(TOP HAT BURGER) our whole meal came out to $45.90. Went for our anniversary. All staff were very welcoming. Seated right away (we had a reservation). Waiter was great. We love the grilled artichokes here. Dinner was very good. Husband had steak, cooked just as he requested. I had chicken piccata, delicious. A nice moscato. read more

On our second visit to this restaurant we were beginning our meal when a party of four were seated in our dining area along with their dog - a non-service dog that we were surprised to see allowed in the dining area. This is our last trip to Augie's. read more

The restaurant does offer indoor and outdoor patio dining. The interior is very wide open. I did not care for the seating or the layout of their restaurant. I wanted to wash my hands before eating. I was told that the restroom is in the attached mall not actually in the restaurant. Our server was very friendly. I ordered the herb roasted chicken. The chicken felt processed like it was purchased frozen and reheated definitely not freshly roasted. The saffron rice had little to no seasoning. The asparagus was cooked well but again under seasoned. The salad was fresh and had a nice assortment or veggies. We did enjoy the piano player. The Augies's previous location on State Route 69 was our go to place unfortunately this re-launch is not a success in my opinion. read more

Service with a smile. The food was tasty and my filet was perfectly cooked--pan seared and oven cooked. Yum! The side salad with the house vinaigrette was fresh and delicious. The place has a nice vibe to it. Although we are non-drinkers, we did like the bar area. It looked like a nice place to watch sports with friends. What a fancy place. Love the look inside. It just feels nice, high end. The live music really set a mood of, "We are glad you are here." And live music on a Wednesday? An unexpected treat. The food was great. We had such a hard time deciding we ordered way too much food. Oh, darn! Yummy leftovers. haha The corn chowder was very good and I loved the flavor of the olives in the Caesar salad. The chicken satay dipping sauce I could have eaten by itself. I had had my fill by this point, but had to try a few bites of my chicken sandwich, delicious. The carrot cake and cheesecake we took to go were HUGE and looked so, so good. Never been to this establishment before but read a lot of great things about this restaurant. We went there with friends for dinner. I was impressed with the decor & the staff were really friendly. It was busy so we had to wait 25 minutes to be seated. Therefore, I assumed it was a popular place for locals. Our server was very nice and let us know that they were backed up in the kitchen, so it would take longer than normal to get our meals. Well, I didn't anticipate that meant a little over an hour and we weren't offered any complementary bread due to our long way we just had to sit there and starve. Our friends had steak and said their meal was delicious. I had a chicken entrée. The chicken was dry and hard like beef jerky and I forgot what my husband had but he said his meal was terrible. This is very disappointing because we thought this would be a go to place for us. However, unfortunately, I do not think we'll be back to this place after our experience. I'm not sure why the food quality was not up to par but I hope things improve for them. read more

Went for a nice dinner with family. All three of us were looking forward to trying the new location out. First thing we noticed was the wide open concept in the main dining room. Not a fan. I feel like it used to be more intimate at the previous location. The menu had changed dramatically for dinner. The famous fish and chips are no longer available for dinner, only at lunch. Burgers are no longer on the dinner menu, only at lunch. Even the appetizers are different depending on lunch bs dinner menu. We had ordered our soft drinks upon being seated and after browsing the menu asked for our check. Disappointed the menu and atmosphere has changed this restaurant from what it used to be. read more

Rack of lamb was supposed to be Dijon and herb crusted. No rack, just four tiny chops with no trace of crust. The menu states two sides yet we were charged for the second side and two other guests weren't given a second choice. The appetizer onion straws was over cooked and most were broken into small pieces. The portion was more like you would get as a burger topping. On the plus side, everyone enjoyed the lobster nachos, the wings were good but the Chicken Parmesan was only mediocre. The burgers were also good. Maybe this is a good lunch place but be careful of dinner. Also to use the restroom, you need to exit the restaurant, go down two halls, past the Judo studio and into the locker room, used by the sports venues. No handicap parking by the restaurant, only over by the sports entrance! read more

Went Sat night for dinner with my husband. He had the Rib eye with baked potatoe. The rib eye was cooked well but frankly thin for the price. It looked like the skinny ones we buy at Costco. I had the crab stuffed shrimp with rice. It was good not great. The service was fine there was some confusion over our drink order but the waitress made it right. Ambiance was nice. Very good service , nice dining areas. The food was great prepared by a chef! My husband had crab cakes and their Corn Chowder, I had Orange Roughly with saffron rice and asparagus, cooked perfectly. First time trying Augie's at their new location. Dined with a group of four people and ratings for their dishes were between six and nine out of a score of 10. The liver and onions were a great hit at nine and the jumbo shrimp with crab was a six due to the fact that the shrimp had been overcooked and were a bit rubbery. Our server Star was on the ball, and very attentive to us and did a great job. Just an FYI, if you pay your bill with cash instead of a credit card, they will give you a discount on your bill. All in all, a pretty good dining experience. read more

The haters here are basing their experience with long waits, or dogs that are not supposedly allowed. Let me be honest: Service is amazing, food is exceptional, price is awesome compared to steak house and other wanna be restaurants. The ambiance of this place is wonderful and the piano playing in the background makes this dining experience better than anywhere else. You have to go and try, then make your own assumption, not based on negative experiences that the restaurant have no control about. My wife had been to the new Augies for lunch and commented that it was good. So we thought we'd try it for dinner. Very disappointed in the ambience, to the menu and prices. First off menu is limited and nothing like the old Augies menu. While the food was OK, the portions were on the small side for the money. Spaghetti and meatballs $24 with no salad? I had the tuna for $28. Was OK but small scoop of mashed potatoes atop some spinach with tuna sitting on top. Didn't expect to be spending $85 for 2 dinners, 1 Diet Pepsi and a tiny piece of cheesecake cake. Paid cash to avoid the credit card surcharge. Find the surcharge annoying. That's their cost of doing business. Won't be returning. Can go to Texas Roadhouse, get 2 steaks, Salads, rolls and potatoes for the same $$. They're not an upscale restaurant. Get over it and bring back some comfort food at moderate prices that most enjoy. read more

We had eaten at Augies before at the previous location. Meal was OK At the new Prescott location ( At Mall) it was not very good. We were there at 11:00 am only a couple of people . Wife had Prime Rib Philly : The menu description is below: It was not Thinly sliced prime Rib. It was best described as some meat that it looked lie someone tried a mallet. Believe best call is mashed meat . Clearly had to use a knife - there was only 3/4 inch thick slice. The other interesting item turned out to be cold cheese - looked like a big egg with yolk in the center. I guess it was the cheese. The whole cheese was cold and lifted off the steak. If it was warm - it would not look like a rubber egg. Usually with a prime Rib Philly a vial of dipping juice is provided - nope. With hers as a disaster of my wife's - Lets see how the Beer Battered Fish and Chips. My best description - not as good as Culvers . Culvers was more warm. Murphy's is a better solution for Prime Rib Philly. This is definitely Augie's just a different location. A bigger bar with more TV's, same great service and delicious food. While the menu has changed slightly from the original location some favorites remain. The interior is a bit more open than the old location which is from an ambiance standpoint is both good and bad. The old location at times felt closed in, while the new seems more spacious. On the other hand the open layout seems a bit louder than the original which is easy to solve. read more

The service is very prompt and courteous. But... I had their Mac n Cheese which was a disappointment. I know they didn't, but it was a simple shell macaroni that looked like Velveeta for the cheese sauce. My Mac and cheese barometer is the cavatappi Mac and cheese at Park Plaza Liquor and Deli...theirs is to die for!! I'll go back to Augie's but not for the Mac and cheese. Maybe if they bring back the eggplant sandwich? Hint hint!! read more
