It was cute and cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They even have a little bar and open kitchen.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Entrees include bread with Boursin cheese & carrot slaw, and a salad with homemade vinaigrette. I had the shrimp scampi and my husband had the mushroom ravioli. The pasta is homemade and the entrees were huge. Our server Karla was over the top friendly and nice. We were chatting about recently having purchased a house in the area and when she boxed up the rest of my meal she also brought out a slice of complimentary lemon tart to go as a welcome. We went to this cute restaurant right across the street from the Fry's parking lot last night for the first time. The portions are large and rich so plan accordingly. Focaccia bread and Boursin spread with carrot slaw arrive shortly after you are seated. All are delicious and made in house. For entrees we ordered Shrimp Scampi and Mushroom Ravioli in a sherry cream sauce. A generous and colorful house salad comes with each entree and is served before the entree. All were delicious. YUM! Blown away! The pasta was phenomenal! My son ordered spaghetti that was so fresh and flavorful. It was a very generous portion. They were kind and helpful with his allergy and my concerns. We also ordered the spinach Alfredo- we were not expecting green noodles but WOW they were so good. The Alfredo sauce was perfect and not heavy! The portion was more than generous! Honestly the only thing that didn't blow me away was the dessert. We tried the chocolate ganache, lemon tart, and creme brûlée. The dessert was fine but I wouldn't order it again. We've heard the sung praises from locals, so we took our family to Tormé last night for our younger son's birthday last night. Torme is tucked away from most other restaurants so it is a chosen destination for a meal. We celebrated my husband's birthday. He was pleased with everything. They bring a starter plate of warm herb bread which had we known we probably would've skipped the Burrata (which also had bread). However, they were different and delicious and it was nice to have the variety. Our salads were fresh and tasty. Each entree had delicious seasoning and flavor. Our server, Isaac, was friendly. The only issue I had was we were seated at a high top and for the length of our meal the seats became uncomfortable for my legs. I would've preferred a regular table. Now I know for a future visit. Went to this restaurant a few days ago with friends to celebrate a birthday. Didn't know what to expect but [[HIGHLIGHT]]as soon as we entered the establishment I was impressed with the ambiance. It was such a cute and quaint set up with dining tables scatted throughout what looked to be a house converted to a restaurant.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Staff greeted us and were warm and friendly. El Gato Azul is one of my favorite restaurants and I wanted to try Barry Barbe's other restaurant. The building is small and cute with plenty of outdoor seating. The staff is very friendly and there's a view of the kitchen. Even the cooking staff said 'hello'. The bread and the cheese spread was really good, we got extra. The spinach fettuccine was really good and complemented with the smoke salmon. The dish is great! The bathrooms are clean and even use real towels, a really nice touch. The salad had a nice mix of ingredients. The dressing was a bit too heavy, but it was still a good choice.

Food was average but service was good. We ordered the baked antipasto and primo ravioli. The antipasto was good but the ravioli was hard on the bottom and swimming in olive oil. I assumed the ravioli would've been soft but I couldn't even cut it with a knife. Pollo Marsala was not a boneless chicken breast and difficult to cut. We visited Torme with friends as part of our Christmas celebrations. We all had something different including the duck, the brand new spicy shrimp dish, the scallops and the fruitti de mar. An update from the 5 stars from last year...I invited some friends for dinner that had not there been. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We, unforunately, were seated on the patio at 6 PM. The flies (from adjacent rodeo grounds) were so horific the 4 people next to us were covering their heads with napkins, but were finally move to a table inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The couple next to use had 3 of Torme's fly table helipcopters going, but to no avail. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Barry, instead of investing in the new restaurant, figure out a solution to the patio. Close it if you have to[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. I will never go back, although I have been to Torme at least 10 times for lunch (no longer available). First time diner at Torme found it via Yelp. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is quaint (a small converted home) inside but they also have outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The owner mentioned that he is looking for a bigger place but don't let that stop you from dropping in to enjoy a nice dinner.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] My wife ordered the Fettuccine De Spinachi Con Salmon Affumicato and I had the Salmone Pesto Giardino. The Fettuccine was tossed in olive oil, garlic, pine nuts, pancetta, cracked pepper, roasted tomatoes, and house smoked salmon. The Salmone Pesto Giardino is chargeilled, contains heirloom and roasted tomatoes, garlic, fresh basil, and pine nuts served with risotto and fresh vegetables. To say both dishes were excellent would be an understatement. My salmon dish was one of the best salmon I've ever had and the risotto was perfectly cooked (always a challenge). Saving a little for later was difficult and when boxing the salmon it was literally falling apart on the fork. The Fettuccine was perfectly tossed with olive oil, the salmon in that dish was again delightful along with the rest of the ingredients. Our server was customer focused and excellent as was the rest of the staff. Finding out it was our anniversary, they offered us any desert item and we chose the cheesecake which was awesome. Not to deny the bartender - he was spot on with his mixology skills. All in all this put an exclamation point on our 34th anniversary. For future visits to Prescott, they are on the top of our list. Excellent lunch a couple months ago. Very well prepared food and friendly atmosphere. Chatted with the owner before leaving and our server was great too.
