If I was rating this placed based on the pizza and salad alone I'd give it ten stars. The employees are nice. But heads up- if you order the food to go- double check that they actually give you what you paid for. It's happened to me multiple times- when I got back to my hotel- what I ordered wasn't there. And make sure if you're staying in a hotel you ask for a plate, a napkin, fork etc. because they do not give you that stuff even if you order to go...and if you get a salad make sure you ask for a knife and a bowl because you cannot eat the salad until you cut it up yourself. When we travel, we always look for the most recommended local pizza restaurants. We found a true gem in Prescott, AZ - - BIll's Pizza. I was intrigued because of what I read on the website. The original owner traveled throughout Italy and the US and created a recipe based on what he learned from "accomplished pizza chefs." We've had pizza all over the country, and this is among the very best we have ever eaten. We ordered a large pepperoni with bell peppers and extra cheese, and It was delicious. The sourdough crust was thin and flavorful, and there was just the right amount of sauce. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The restaurant itself was very clean, and there was a casual, friendly vibe. Our server, Temple, was fantastic. She was very friendly and she had an engaging personality. We noticed that all the servers were attentive and everyone was smiling. The staff worked together well and they were each customer-oriented. We got the Devinator for takeout tonight from out of town and it BLEW us away. Even after eating about 15-20 of picking up, we loved this pizza. A staple spot for every future visit! I was looking for a place that sold pizza by the slice, and luckily I found this gem! I came here on a Friday night, and while the lines for dine-in were long (likely due to an event at the Courthouse), I ordered takeout and got a slice of the "Elton John" and the "Meat Combo." Although both were equally great, my favorite was the Elton John. It was so flavorful, and despite not having meat (which I usually need on my pizza), it was delicious and I wish I had ordered another slice! The service was great! The person who rung me up was very nice, and despite the long takeout line, my slices were ready within 10 minutes. It seems like a great place to bring the family as it was very lively and suitable for both large and small parties. I've heard great things about their other restaurant, "Bill's Grill," so I will be checking that place out next. I'd give this place a shot if you're in town! read more

WOW! This place did not disappoint! Several friends had told me about it and I finally got to check it out for myself. Pizza and salad! No fuss about it! Came with a couple of friends who had been here before and we ordered a large pepperoni, spicy sausage (They have three options and of course I had to go with the spicy! ), and jalapeño pizza along with a large antipasto salad. The only drawback was the fact that the wait was a bit long for the amount of people actually dining in and when we did finally get our food, the salad was forgotten. Our server (who was exceptionally nice) felt really bad that he had forgotten to get it to us before the pizza, that he went as far as bringing it out and removed it from our check! What a fantastic way of showing that customer satisfaction is important. So, the pizza... it's amazing! The thin crust is on the crispy side and it is super yummy! The spicy sausage, isn't and there wasn't much of it on our pizza, but don't get me wrong, it was still amazing! It was a fair balance of crust, sauce, cheese, and toppings (with the exception of the sausage!) and I loved it! The salad was also very, very tasty! It had plenty of everything and was enough for the three of us to share it and enjoy it along with our pizza. The Italian dressing and fresh Parmesan cheese made it for me. This pizza place is located directly across the street from the courthouse square in the touristy downtown Whiskey Row area. They sell pizza by the slice and have ample seating for those wishing to dine in. Street parking can be hard to find on the weekends or during special events, but on a normal evening, you can get lucky. We found a spot right in front of their entrance doors. We were also able to sit at a round table next to a window that has the perfect view of the courthouse square and all the lights on the historical buildings that make up this great little town. The restaurant is clean and there's no doubt you're in an Italian food place. With the exception of the wall art (which can be purchased), the Italian vibes are here!
